About a month ago I was praying and it seemed to me that I got answers for a couple of my questions. For instance I asked God about a certain situation. I asked how long do I still have to wait, how long will it last. After asking that I thought "3 months" in my mind. Also I asked God what should I do about certain problems I have and after asking that I thought I should talk to my pastor. Earlier my friend had recommended me to talk to my pastor, but I was against that idea, because I don't feel comfortable about sharing my problems. But that thought came so clearly, I decided I will talk to him.

It really didn't seem like these were my own random thoughts. My mind wasn't wondering around, I wasn't thinking nor trying to think about anything. Those "answers" came so clearly that they got my attention.

I have experienced the same thing myself. I take it that three months have not passed, so that you cannot test the accuracy of that answer. I believe that God does answer prayers, through a myriad of ways. If you really believe that these were God's answers, I would suggest that you follow through with them. Since you weren't specific, I don't know, but you might want to consider whether the "3 months" answer is contingent upon the second answer; consulting a pastor.

In any case, I believe that it is unwise to ignore what was possibly God's answers to your prayers. To paraphrase another saying, "Whether you believe they were (answers) or believe they weren't, you're probably right."

Don’t make the mistake of believing every thought that pops into your mind is from the Lord. We need to develop a relationship with the Lord, through constant prayer, which helps us understand when the Lord is speaking to us.

I think if you have to ask..................then it could NOT have been God? God created your mouth and vocal cords and yet God has a hard time speaking? I don't think so. God can speak clearly where you don't have to ask, "Was that you?" You understand what I'm saying, don't you? I mean if you have to ask then it wasn't HIM it was you.

Tough one.... just wait three months and see what happens?

MORE important than that, ASK GOD TO take your sinful nature totally away and give you the literal nature of Christ, FAST for it too.

•John 17:21 - Jesus said: "That all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be IN us."

• Ephesians 2:14 - For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.

• Romans 8:9 -- "You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ."

• Galatians 5:20 -- "Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires."

• Colossians 2:11 -- "In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision done by Christ."
