Those who believe in Jesus will experience the Holy Spirit/Ghost actually coming to dwell inside their bodies. (Acts 2:36-39)
"For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; AND have been all made to drink into one Spirit." 1 Cor 12:13
The consecration of Solomon's temple reveals similarities relative to the NT experience when God came to dwell in people. (Acts 2:2-4) Solomon's temple was prepared to receive the Lord. And His arrival was visible to others.
"Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the house...And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever." (2 Chron. 7:1,3)
