lol. so now your going to go here. thats funny. I have always maintained God chose a nation. not people. So I forgot the question mark.. You should know by the context I was making a question. Your the one who claimed God chose induviduals not nations..not me.. That was myrespons. Your the one splitting hairs.. Now your just making excuses..

Are you going to admit God Chose a nation and not individual people in genesis. Or continue to do things like this?[/QUOTE

If He prepares them.....like He did Moses......
See 40 years in the wilderness BEFORE he was called - (burning bush).
See Hebrews - which says Moses left the glory of Egypt to suffer with the people of the Lord. - - -
Do you think the Bible is inspired? - -Yes or No?
Was the writer of the book of Hebrews inspired?
Rick was this supposed to be a response to me?

what does that have to do with anything?

Did Moses make a free will choice? he left because he murdered a man and his life was in danger. Did God force moses to murder a man so he would leave? or did God use Moses free will choice to his own purpose. Because he knew what moses would do?

Be careful how you answer!

lol.. let me know when your going to stop making excuses, and making me say something I never said. and when you really want to discuss the facts.

Did God chose a nation or not? I think it is prety obvious he did. So why do you want to say WOW over a typo. and attack me, and not answer the question??

Honestly, just state your case and be done with it.

to show your hypocracy here..

I said I ALWAYS MAINTAINED GOD CHOSE A NATION.. so here is the proof.

Oh I did? He chose a nationl, not an individual. So how can you continually say I make a great case for God Chosing induviduals. when it is not even in the text itself?

the context of the passage is did God make a mistake Chosing Israel. Jews claimed God chose them based on the righteousness of the fathers. Not based solely on Gods choosing. Paul is refuting that notion.

God Chose jacob (the nation of isreal) over Esau (the nation of Edom) not because Jacob was righteous. He was not. He was a sinner, a theif and many other things. He chose the nation would come thru Jacob, before he was even born.
yet this does not help your case.

No Scripture says god chose a nation.

Genesis 25:23 And the Lord said to her:“Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger.”

The text paul quoted in romans 9 did not say God chose one person over another, it says God chose one nation over another. Paul would not have taken this passage out of context. and claim God only chose people. For paul would be making a grave error and misquoting the word of God. it is you who states Paul did this.
So tell us. Did God chose to save one child and condemn another? or did God chose to have the mother bare two nations, One which would serve the other. one which was chosen. one which was not? What does the OT passages which paul quoted have to say about this?
Now do you want to continue to say I contradicted myself? or admit I made a typo and move on??

Dude. You have serious issues. I did not say God did not chose a nation. I just proved it by showing three previous posts which I claimed GOD CHOSE A NATION. not an induvidual.

for you to continue in this attack mode only shows your true self. You do not want to discuss fact.. If this is the case. there is no discussing anything, You have shown yourself to be a manipulator who does not want to discuss anything when he is backed into a wall.

it is the way they work. They find a minor mistake then stick onto it. even though they KNOW it was a mistake. they will keep it up and blame us for not wanting to discuss.

He is hardening his heart, as scripture says. Lets hope he opens it back up and sees the proofs I just showed him. or he will continue to harden his heart.

I am hardening my heart to double speak.
Please state your case clearly.
Just state your case please.
On topic, not proving your theory about Romans 9.
Just state your case using scripture.

Your still not answering the question. Is it so hard?

Did God not say he chose to nations in genesis? You state he chose a person. I state he chose a nation (which you later denied) what does scripture say? Did God say two nation are in your owmb or two people? did he say one nation will serve the other, or one child? Did God say he hated a kid before he was born. or a nation?? (As I showed you in malachi)

Are you going to answer or continue to attack and make excuses thatit is my fault your not answering, because i spposedly contradicted myself??

Our discussion was romans 9. let me guess. now that you have been forced to give an answer as to what God said, you do not wich to discuss it any more?

I already have addressed Romans 9.
Read my commentary I posted on it two times earlier in this thread.
(I posted the whole chapter with my commentary in red.)
I'd love to discuss it as it relates to souls, (and not supposed nations).
This thread is about who chooses who; and not how God chooses nations.
The very fact Israel didn't follow Him is proof enough.

I posted all of Romans 9 twice in this thread with my commentary in red.
That is what I wanted you to answer, (in your own color).
