Sorry to interrupt here, but must publically apologize for misunderstanding and underestimating kaylagrl in the other (closed)thread. I have been taught some of the same things about the future of Israel as she, but never studied it over in close detail. I do not believe in Replacement Theology. I do believe that Israel will be saved in the end. It's just that I believed it would happen by their turning to Jesus. Can't imagine how else it could happen, but I will endeavor to read this monster 240+ post thread.
No problem, easy to get misunderstood.I haven't commented much in this thread, which I started, because so many are making great comments in here.Just sitting back and reading it all.No damage done brother.Have a blessed day!

Jesus has fulfilled all the law and all the prophets and received the authority (BOTH the rod of iron and the gentle rod of a good Shepherd) and married Jerusalem, His lovely spotless Queen.
Tell that to Hitler, Stalin, and all the other evil dictators who have had free reign, and have not felt the rod of iron. How anyone can sit their in their right mind and say Jesus has been ruling for the past 2000 years with this rod, and promise to DASH TO PEACES the kings who do not follow him (ps 2) with all the evil in the world, is beyond any comprehension I can even think of.

That dude that crossnote quoted claiming that the Almighty does NOT sit on the throne of David is robbing Jesus of His glory and teaching likewise to His sons and daughters. And Jesus will not give His glory to another. Again, God is eternal. He either sat on the throne of David from everlasting, or He doesn't sit there, ever. So which is it?
Jerusalem is in ruins, has been since 70 AD, the kings of the earth have produced all manner of evil against God, No one is going to jerusalem this day to worship the king sitting on his throne.

so no, he is sitting on his OWN throne, the one HE EARNED by his sacrifice, not the one promise to king david. whiich is here on earth.

so who is truly mocking God here my friend? the one that says he will not keep his promises, or the one who claims david had a throne in heaven at the right hand of God, and Christ took that throne over from david?

Because you guys refuse to stop for a moment and think about what I posted, just replying without understanding, this really begins to sound silly.
actually I have thought about it going on a few decades. it is not the first time i have heard it, and I have studied it, and I do understand it, and your lack of humility, and sarcastic remark that we are just not understanding you is quite hypocritical and arrogant to say the least,

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Job 23:7 There the righteous (=Savior) might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.

I bless you in Jesus' name and hope your eyes will be opened.

as I do you, so you stop mocking the prophesies and promises of God.

Back at the day, pharisees had the exact same approach when interpreting Scriptures. They expected an earthly kingdom and a literal, fleshly warrior Messiah, and that they would be favored no matter how they behaved because of their birthright. Are we to keep expecting the same... Did we learn from their mistakes...?

Matthew 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
Galatians 3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

God rejected them and will let them have what they wanted until they cry bitterly to Him, so they can be restored.

God's chosen now is Christians, no nations, no one else.
The Jews are still the chosen people of our God.
We the gentiles have been grafted in by our acceptance as Jesus as the Messiah. We were grafted in to make the Jews jealous because of there unbelief and not accepting Jesus for the Messiah as the scriptures say.

If you want to see that the Jews are still the chosen or elect then just look at Revelation and the 144,000 slated to be standing by the Lord's side when He comes back. They are from the 12 Jewish tribes, no gentile believers are apart of this 144,000.

My comments:

Replacement theology is the vanguard of many divisions of professing Christianity

The purpose by the same is to create gainful priority ambition by claiming that each has some how become national Israel .... and they come with their own exclusive set dogmas for making themselves they only ones that have the truth .... all others are heretical

This behavior leads to "cult like" followings of the leaders of the same and the members are captured and told that if they break their relationship with the "cult" they are hell bound .... in other words it is the organization that saves them

The history of the professing church is loaded with these set-apart religious movements and they are still prevalent today

I will not name them ..... unless asked [e-mailing me would be best], but I can tell you that they dominate and there are large ones and smaller ones ..... the list is a long one .... some very direct, and others more subtle

The Lord has a real problem with these movements because they contain the seeds of gross deception in conjunction with the off course ambitions of the leaders [wolves in sheep's clothing]

Here is what He says with regard for the like [Revelation 2:9; 3:9]

Professing Christianity is not the only theater .... anti-semitism is also prevalent in other forms .... the big one is Islam

But they all are doing the same thing in their own way
Thank you brother for the truth you have spoken here.As I said in another thread I will never be silent when someone is being antisemitic.Whether they are a Jew or Gentile.I cannot stand by and allow God's chosen people to be defamed, call terrorists and worse.I do so at my own peril.Bless them and be blessed, curse them and be cursed.

I see I slipped for a moment in my attitude, gratefull. I do apologize.
But also I wish you would not call spiritual understanding mockery of Scriptures, because it is not. It points to the work of Jesus on the cross.

yes, thus the mystery, even the disciples thought this, they did not get it until Christ arose and they mystery was revealed. God hid the first coming and events so Satan would do what he did (kill Christ) but to us have been given the eye opening truth that they could not yet Get.

OT prophets spoke of two events, with a gap.

1- the messiah, who will never die, be looked up to. Rule the world and destroy evil while he rules in Jerusalem.
2. The suffering servant, who will die a horrible death, be looked down on, and have no earthly army to do anything.

Satan did exactly what God wanted him to. He too thought Christ came as ruler, not as servant, So he killed him, thinking he stopped God from keeping his promise. Oh to be a fly on the wall of satans party when Christ yelled out those words, "my God, My God why has though forsaken me. Instead of stopping God, he did exactly what he claimed God did, Killed an innocent, made himself God.

Yet this will not stop God from fulfilling the king messiah prophesies, they never were supposed to come first. God had to save mankind first. otherwise, his coming to earth would have been for nothing.

As Paul said,

rom 11:
[SUP]25 [/SUP]For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. [SUP]26 [/SUP]And so all Israel will be saved,[SUP][g][/SUP] as it is written:“The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
[SUP]27 [/SUP]For this is My covenant with them,When I take away their sins.”[SUP][h][/SUP]

Please notice. Paul spoke of a future event here, not a past one, this is yet to come, yet people still do not get the mystery, anymore then they get the mystery of the OT prophesies of the messiah and his earthly kingdom.

I think we can still call them for what they are doing, even paul called them our enemy, and they still are.

it is just we need to not separate them from everyone else who is doing evil. and more importanlty, we need to give them the gospel. they need it, like everyone else does.

If Jesus fulfilled all the prophets at His first coming, then I suppose He also fulfilled this too?

Zechariah 14:3-4
3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Or did He fulfill all as pertained to Him up to that time?

Its a pity that the Muslims believe more than some Christians do.They have barred the gate and put a graveyard in front of it because no Holy man would step on graves they say. Interesting...

I am strongly inclined to understand it spiritually, brother crossnote, but again there is no way for either of us to definitely prove it.
I will respect your opinion on it and try to explain why I see things the other way.
Imo this relates to Jesus standing on the Mount of Olives as He prayed in Gethsimane.
He was just about to take on and fight against the entire hell!
The rift opened for the believers to flee from the enemy and find shelter in God.

If you go into the Old testament and translate the names of these nations (Jebusites and others), it is always some sort of sinning against God.

A thought to chew... Medically, the circumscision is giving several people the chance to get new skin/tissie after a disaster or fire burning their own flesh. As you probably know, at the 8th day, mother cells are abundant in those childs and this serves to create "naturally" that tissue, so their is not need to cut it from him/herself to reimplant it in the affected area.

Jews are not solelly the ones doing it but, those new born childs contribute to science and people´s healing.

Acts 10:28 He said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean.

As long as Israel becomes merciful, then they'll live with the rest. Loving someone is not considering them to be an enemy, but slowly teaching (Eventhough it take your whole entire life) them why it is unlawful because they care for someone because of them not having someone to teach them. But Israel didn't wanted to be bother with them, but Moses was going to give up his life for them, because they needed time and a teacher. If it weren't for Moses' love that he has for them, God wouldn't had anything to consider. So the laws were made because someone has shown love for them. So if they become Christ-like, then they'll be save.

Genesis 18:23 Then Abraham approached him and said: “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked?

Exodus 32:32 But now, please forgive their sin—but if not, then blot me out of the book you have written.”

Deuteronomy 9:13 And the Lord said to me, “I have seen this people, and they are a stiff-necked people indeed! 14 Let me alone, so that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under heaven. And I will make you into a nation stronger and more numerous than they.”

15 So I turned and went down from the mountain while it was ablaze with fire. And the two tablets of the covenant were in my hands.

wasting my time. Of course faith in the Messiah is required, that does not mean the land promises are void to those Jews who before and after the Church had faith in the promises.

Romans 11:28-29
28 In regard to the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but in regard to election they are dearly loved for the sake of the fathers.
29 For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable.

Joshua 23:14-16 their remaining on the land was CONDITIONAL upon their obeying God. God did not promise the land UNconditionally.

Josh 23:14 "And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you,and not one thing hath failed thereof."

God ALREADY fulfilled (past tense) the land promise so there is no future promises to be fulfilled. God will not re-fullfill His promises that are already fulfilled.

Josh 23:15 "
Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you."

Josh 23:16 "
When ye have transgressed the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he hath given unto you."

They disobeyed God and God removed them OFF the land. They are not OFF the land if they are still ON it.

Josh 21:43 "And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein."

Josh 21:44 "
And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand."

Josh 21:45 "
There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass."

God gave them ALL the land, they possessed ALL the land God promised them and ALL the Lord promised came to pass.

No land promises or land possession will happen in the future, ALL CAME TO PASS...the promise and possession has already happened, already fulfilled and will not happen again. Premillennialism cannot be true.

Furthermore, God promised them 6 cities of refuge (Num 35), God would "enlarge thy coast" Deut 19:7-9 with 3 cities and add 3 more cities promised later. Josh 20:1-8 shows that all SIX cities were appointed and God's promised FULFILLED. Proof the land promise was FULFILLED completely with these promises belonging to the past, not the future.
