Amen brother! - Bible Truth Versus Adventist Truth - Dangers of Seventh-day Adventism
Now MMD, if you only point all to the word of website, how will you know the Word of God? If you do not know the Word of God how can you know the Gospel? If you do not know the Word of God or the Gospel then will you not be swept away with every wind of doctrine? If you have pleasure in unrighteousness will you not believe a lie? It is only in the Word of God that we are safe against the strong delusions that come to those that do not believe and follow the Word of God. This is why it is written...

Jeremiah 17
5,
Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

Proverbs 28
9,
He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

1 John 2
3,
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4, He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

There is only truth in God's Word and it is the Word of God that we are to look and live. If you follow the teachings and traditions of men over the Word of God how will you hear him who calls you?

................

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men every where to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND (Acts 17:30-31)

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word.

I think it is "man's Sabbath" because man made the calendar.

We can now enter into Sabbath without defiling it. The Seventh day is blessed and hallowed. Without us experiencing the Gospel we can not keep the Sabbath. Our worship is offensive without us receiving the Gospel. And as a matter of fact without us receiving the Gospel we can not even truly cease physically as GOD had intended on the Sabbath.
This kind of thing is mis-leading.

We don't enter into sabbath. We enter into rest. Because we are speaking english. If we were speaking Hebrew then we would enter shabbat.

From Judaism 101;

Shabbat is the most important ritual observance in Judaism. It is the only ritual observance instituted in the Ten Commandments. It is also the most important special day, even more important than Yom Kippur. This is clear from the fact that more aliyot (opportunities for congregants to be called up to the Torah) are given on Shabbat than on any other day.

Shabbat is primarily a day of rest and spiritual enrichment. The word "Shabbat" comes from the root Shin-Beit-Tav, meaning to cease, to end, or to rest.

We aren't to mix the gospel with the law in order to be righteous now. It is meant to follow one or the other. The law is supposed to bring a person to the Lord Jesus Christ to receive rest.

But if you mix the two then you get a perversion of both. You can't enter rest and work at the commandments simultaneously.

Revelation 3:15-19

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Galatians 2:19-21

19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

If our eyes are not open we cannot see the Garden of Eden or the paradise of God. Sin closes our eyes and makes us blind but seeking Jesus can open the blind eyes to see and the deaf to hear.

Truly, truly, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. I say unto you, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

There is only life in the living Word. These are his Words and not my own. Freely I give because freely I have received. Your Words are not directed towards me but to the one who the Word belongs. Do you know the scriptures gb9?

There is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed come judgement day. Sin will keep all who practice it out of God's Kingdom.

you say my eyes are not open. I talk about salvation through Christ, call Christ Lord and Savior, believe in the Resurrection.

you admit none of that. none. my eyes are wide open, fixed on Jesus for salvation.

your eyes are fixed on twilight fri ( you think, the calendar thing, you don't know ) . one of us needs to open their eyes to the reality to Christ as Lord. not keeping a day.

LGF does NOT share God's Word! He shares Ellen G White's perversion of God's word. The wise among us will do well to ignore it.

You do not know what I believe and your eyes indeed are not open. You teach against God's 10 commandments which are the KNOWLEDGE of SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS.

They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick but many do not KNOW the meaning. Jesus says; I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. How can you KNOW the meaning when your lamp has gone out when it is night and the road is narrow?

If you are still in your SINS how can you KNOW him when he says those who DO NOT KNOW HIM?

You also accuse me of saying and believing things I have never said to you. This is indeed spreading lies and bearing false witness. This is the FRUIT from the father of lies. This is NOT the FRUIT of FAITH.

If your FAITH does not have the God's FRUIT it is NOT the FRUIT of them who BELIEVE and FOLLOW him who LOVES ALL.

SIN will keep all who practice it out of God's KINGDOM because they do not BELIEVE and FOLLOW HIM who calls them.

I think it is "man's Sabbath" because man made the calendar.
I'm not sure of that! God names the first month Abib and the seventh month Ethanim; and refers to the other months by number. Man named 4 of the months for Babylonian idols and gave the other months names God refuses to use.

actually, I agree with part of this. I do not know what you believe, because you will not state it. you talk about Jesus, yet you will not call Him Lord and Savior. so that is why I question your beliefs about Him.

and, while we are at it , no one is sinless. if your reasoning that you keep the Sabbath , and that makes you holy, then that is more wrong than the rest of your ellen white inspired beliefs.

Ellen White is not creator of the Sabbath, Ellen is a false prophet that does not make the Sabbath false:

It is YHWH that makes holy, by what and how He says:

Romans 9:6-8, "However, it is not as though YHWH's plan had failed. For it is not everyone who is a descendant of Israyl who belongs to Israyl. Nor, just because they are his descendants, are they all Abraham's children; but: In Isaac will your seed be called. That is, it is not those who are the children of the flesh who are YHWH's children; but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham's seed."

Psalm 105:6-9, "O seed of Abraham His servant, You children of Yaaqob, His chosen ones! He is YHWH our Father! His judgments are in all the earth. Romans 11:16-31, “Now if the first-fruit is set-apart, the lump is also. And if the root is set-apart, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, have been grafted in among them, and came to share the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. And if you boast, remember: you do not bear the root, but the root bears you! You shall say then, “The branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” Good! By unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by belief. Do not be arrogant, but fear. For if Yah did not spare the natural branches, He might not spare you either. See then the kindness and sharpness of Yah: on those who fell sharpness, but toward you kindness, if you continue in His kindness, otherwise you also shall be cut off. And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, shall be grafted in, for Yah is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more shall these who are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? For I do not wish you to be ignorant of this secret, brothers, lest you should be wise in your own estimation, that hardening in part has come over Yisra’ĕl, until the completeness of the gentiles has come in. And so all Yisra’ĕl shall be saved, as it has been written, “The Deliverer shall come out of Tsiyon, and He shall turn away wickedness from Ya‛aqoḇ, and this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins. Truly, as regards the Good News they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. For the gifts and the calling of Yah are not to be repented of. For as you also at one time disobeyed Yah, but now have obtained compassion through their disobedience, so also these have now disobeyed, that through the compassion shown you they also might obtain compassion.”

1 Peter/Kepha 1:13-21, "Therefore, gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the undeserved pardon that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Yahshua Messiah. As obedient children, do not conform to the former lusts you had when you lived in ignorance; But as He Who called you is holy, so you also become holy in all your conduct; Because it is written Be holy, for I am holy. And if you call on the Father, Who, without respect of persons judges according to each man's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your sojourning here in reverence; Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, such as silver or gold, from your idolatrous way of life handed down to you by tradition from your forefathers; But with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot; Who truly was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you; Who through Him we do believe in YHWH, Who raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in YHWH."

Numbers 15:15-16, “One law is for you of the assembly and for the stranger who sojourns with you – a law forever throughout your generations. As you are, so is the stranger before יהוה. One Torah and one right-ruling is for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you.”

Exodus 12:47-49, “All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the Passover to יהוה, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. One law shall be to him that is nativeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourns among you.”

ALL thourgh this thread I ONLY call Jesus Savior and LORD! This is what it means to BELIEVE and FOLLOW him who loves us. I am no one, and without him I can do nothing of myself. I believe him and see him because I know him and he bids me come so I FOLLOW him through the FAITH he has given me.

ABIDING in HIM you can be free from your SINS. Without him you can do nothing at all but SIN. If you are still KNOWINGLY in your SINS you do not yet KNOW him that is calling you to come and need to SEEK him in REPENTANCE and FORGIVENESS so you can be FREE to LOVE and FOLLOW him who calls you.

If the Son shall make you FREE you shall be FREE indeed. If you are NOT FREE to LOVE and FOLLOW him you are still in your SINS. It is SIN that will keep all who knowingly practice it out of God's Kingdom come judgment day.

Galatians 3:28-29, "Is there not the Yahdai as well as the Greek; Gentile? Is there not the slave as well as the freeman? Is there not the male and the female? For all of you must be in unity in Yahshua Messiah. And if you are in Messiah, then you are a seed of Abraham, heirs according to the promise."

galatians 3 " And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. 9So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
10For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: forit is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, ( all have sinned according to the book of law) it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

12And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. ( all nations shall be blessed in thy seed)

15Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it beconfirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. 16Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise."

you are a seed of Abraham, heirs according to the promise."

the promise of God is where the inheritance Lies, one cannot earn an inheritance, it is given By the Fathers word, to the children. the promise of God, is the Holy spirit available to all people, gentile and Jew, this promise is fulfilled through Christ being born, dying for us to free us from condemnation under the law, and then being exalted to Gods right Hand on the throne. this all happened ultimately to deliver the Holy spirit to believers....

acts 2 "
This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.34For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,35Until I make thy foes thy footstool. 36Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ."

adam corrupted mans spirit and passed death on to His descendants, Jesus redeems believers from that corruption and brings them back into relationship with God, more importantly sends the Holy Ghost to bring us back to life again. to take upon Himself the curse placed on man at the beginning in eden, was the Only way to redeem man because adam had dominion over the earth when He transgressed, so Jesus became one of us, and took the authority back from satan, who had control over man with sin and death, Jesus overcame both and taught us the way to live forever, the Law of moses is true and useful to learn from, but is no longer in authority over a christian believer. we still use it to learn of right and wrong, and many things of Gods character, and it helps us immenl;sy to understand the gospel, but the laws authoroity ended, when israel was no longer Gods exclusive chosen people. they actually broke the covenant and God likens it to a divorce and then the prophets begin saying this after they corrupted and betrayed the law for long enough and God said it would end because they ended it.

then in the prophets they start promiseing the messiah and God says this....

Isaiah 42:1-9 ...v1 "Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles......v4 "He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law........v9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them."

the prophets have several examples like this then when Jesus comes Hes saying this

matth 13:17 "For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them."

john 8:38 " I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
john 3 " He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. 32And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. 33He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.

34For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. 35The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. 36He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."

the father has " GIVEN" all things to the son,...inheritance. those who accept His testimony, he testifies to those things he saw in Gods presence.......the Gospel is Gods Doctrine..

It is SIN that will keep all who knowingly practice it out of God's Kingdom come judgment day.

...........

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word.
thank you for finally clearing this up. I will ask you no more.

Walk trough the valley
"Made perfect through suffering."
Jesus the author of our salvation learned obedience through suffering. He was sinless, the learning obedience through suffering was for us: to bring us to God. He made this possible by a change of clotting (identity) with Him: To be clothed with immortality by His Spirit. This fulfils the prophesy "I will make a way in the wilderness." Where the generation after the flesh had to die forty years: what obedience passed through in forty days: Jesus in prayer and fasting to put away His enemy.

In the communion of the Last super we partake of His body and cleansing life blood, just before He suffered for us; so that following Him as we are called, "Daily pick up your cross and follow Me." We learn of Him obedience in the things He suffered: in the fellowship of His suffering, losing our life after the flesh to have Life in the Love of God, "If I have not Love I am nothing." If your trying to fulfil the law your trying to save nothing. It's not possible to prove ourselves obedient to follow Him: it's proven impossible. After the disciples followed Jesus 3½ years: in the Communion of the Last super Jesus said to His disciples, " All of you will abandon Me this night." Even having inherited His will in the new covenant, having good will could not bring us to obedience, until empowered by His Spirit. This was foreknown in the mind of God that we had to learn of Him in the fellowship of His sufferings, to cease from our dead works: there was no other way, "If there was a law that could have made us righteous, Salvation would have been by the law." and Jesus would not have had to leave so that we would have His Spirit. "Not by might nor by power but by my Spirit sais the Lord." God caries us into His death to all that is not of God: suffering with Him is not work if we know His Grace: the Love of God working in us, giving us identity in Christ.
Grace enables us to do "One thing," forgetting what lies behind (dead)," and walk in the Light to get more Light.

Yes nice post stillness thankyou for sharing your thoughts.

We are indeed only saved by GRACE through FAITH and not of ourselves it is God's GIFT to those who BELIEVE and Follow God's WORD and NOT of WORKS lest any man should boast.

However if our FAITH does not have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE to God's WORD through FAITH the works by LOVE then we are not WALKING in his Spirit and are still in our SINS and do not KNOW him who calls us to FOLLOW him. Sin will keep all those who KNOWINGLY practice it out of God's Kingdom.
