I am consistent dear your just changing your story every few mins because you do not want to believe God's WORD. This is sad for you.

PLEASE READ AGAIN POST # 6806 linked CLICK ME

If you break God's Commandments you commit SIN (Romans 7:7; James 2:8-12; 1 John 3:4)

Those who CONTINUE in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

.......................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).
if you not change your story, please answer my question.

Is colossians 2:14 cancel number 15:32:36? let see if your answer same with what you say before.

yes or no question, not avoid direct answer

I know you avoid direct answer to hide your inconsistency.

'love the Lord' and 'love your neighbor' are not part of ten commandments. They are part of what he calls 'ordinances'

Not one jot is removed. Not one tittle.

But God has made a way, it is the cross of Christ, upon which we died and were thereby set free from condemnation, no longer under law: thereby 'all things are lawful for me' because whoever has died is no longer liable to the law
The Word for Sabbath is plural in that text. Verse 16 starts with the word therefore. Which keeps it in context to verse 14.

Having blotted out the handwriting to the ordinances that is against us, that was contrary to us, and he hath taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

It is the Sabbaths that were of the handwriting to the ordinances. The ordinances are the Decalogue and those Laws contained in the Book of the Law that showed us what righteousness is. The handwriting to them that were against us and contrary to us, were those laws pertaining to when we sinned not those laws that showed us what righteousness is.

As was said the Context brings us to the handwriting to the ordinances that were against us, not the ordinances themselves and certainly not the Decalogue. Not all the handwriting to the ordinances were against and contrary to us. Most of that which is contained in the Book of the Law pertain to what righteousness is. They describe the Character of GOD and HIS Christ. They are of the New Covenant. Who we are through HIM through HIS Spirit; HIS Word, His Law; HIS Christ being in our hearts, minds and mouths so we do it.

Paul is not addressing the Decalogue in Colossians. He is writing of the Book of the Law and only those writings in it that were against us and contrary to us. Those writings that dealt with when we sinned.

Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.
(Deu 31:26 KJV)

The ten commandments are a small part of the law of Moses [Exo 20:3-17]; but they are the law of Moses NOT SOMETHING ELSE.
Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.(Deu 31:26 KJV)

The Decalogue is not of the Book of the Law. They are separate. However not all that was in the Book of the Law was against us. Only the hand writing contained in it that dealt with when we sinned. Those ordinances that showed us what righteousness is; GOD's character, stand for ever in the person of Christ, and in those who call on HIS name.
For this is the Covenant that HE has made with us. His Laws; HIS Words; HIS Christ in our hearts and in our minds and in our mouths that we do it. This what Faith is. And this is the Gospel. GOD working in us both to will and do HIS good pleasure. This is the Testimony; the Faith of Christ and the keeping of the Commandments of GOD.

. Jesus taught that NOBODY can keep the 10 commandments to God's standard amy more than they can keep the whole law.
No He didn't.

Hi LB, so true.

I am just amazed at what lengths people will go to ignore God's WORD in order to follow their own traditions.
I BELIEVE God says to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling for a reason.

I understand the scriptures in Isaiah better now that both Jesus and Paul quoted to the Jews that did not BELIEVE them. They told those that would not BELIEVE God's WORD....

Well spoke the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet to our fathers,Saying, Go to this people, and say, Hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see, and not perceive: For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Nice to see you LB. God bless you as you continue in His WORD.

THE OLD COVENANT
(1)*God’s Law*(10 commandments)
(2) The laws of Moses*(Levitical, ceremonial, sacrificial and civil laws)

so what I'm seeing is you understand the old covenant to be the ten commandments plus all the other rules God gave through Moses

Paul was writing to the Corinthians who were known for their sexual immorality, taking Plato as their authority. Paul responded by quoting Plato and adding his own teaching which I have highlighted.

1Co 6:12-20 ISV
(12) Everything is permissible for me, but not everything is helpful. Everything is permissible for me, but I will not allow anything to control me.

(13) Food is for the stomach, and the stomach is for food, but God will make them both unnecessary. The body is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. (14) God raised the Lord, and by his power he will also raise us.

(15) You know that your bodies belong to the Messiah, don't you? Should I take what belongs to the Messiah and unite them with a prostitute? Certainly not! (16) You know that the person who unites himself with a prostitute becomes one body with her, don't you? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh." (17) But the person who unites himself with the Lord becomes one spirit with him.

(18) Keep on running away from sexual immorality. Any other sin that a person commits is outside his body, but the person who sins sexually sins against his own body. (19) You know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God, don't you? You do not belong to yourselves, (20) because you were bought for a price. Therefore, glorify God with your bodies. (and don't go with prostitutes.)
so, the test then is
Is it helpful
does it control you

The OLD COVENANT is made up of God's LAW (10 Commandments) and the Mosaic book of the Covenant. One is forever and the other has shdow laws pointing to Jesus and God's plan of salvation. Both had different purposes in the OLD Covenant. One to point out sin and was the standard of RIGHTEOUSNESS and SIN if broken the other gave instruction if God's LAW was broken for remission of sins pointing to Jesus (Shadows of things to come)

Nope it is being born again to LOVE another as Jesus first LOVED us. LOVE is the FULFILLING of GOd's LAW in those who BELIEVE God's WORD. This is the new COVENANT. God's LAW (10 Commandments) has the same role it always has. It is the KNOWLEDGE of SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Fufilling God's LAW is LOVE. DISOBEYING it is SIN and the wages of SIN is death but the GIFT of God is eternal LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord.
