I click the first link and it is not the answer it state in the verse blotting out the handwriting ordinance than they said not sabbath prove that sabbath not handwriting ordinance thus his argument is like every member of congregation must pay food i am a member and you say that statement is not for you.normal people with normal logical thinking level will not believe this argument
My dear you did not read all the posts and scriptures in them did you? Each of those links have descriptions in them as to what the content is about.

CLICK HERE; WHAT MAKES UP THE OLD COVENANT?

CLICK HERE; SHADOW LAWS OF THE OLD COVENANT?.

CLICK ME FOR COL 2:14-17

CLICK HERE; WHY THE SABBATH CANNOT BE A CEREMONIAL LAW?

CLICK HERE: WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO ENTER GOD'S REST?

If you read the posts you would know that the 4th Commandment as well as the rest of God's LAW (10 Commandments) are NOT ORDINACES they are God's LAW written on stone.

The ORDINACES come from the Mosaic BOOK of the COVENANT NOT from God's 10 Commandments.

The GREEK word for ORDINANCES is dogma. It means CIVIL, CEREMONIAL or ECCLESIASTICAL LAW.

This is from the ORDINANCES in the book of the COVENANT written by MOSES. NOT God's 10 Commandments written by GOD on two tables of stone.

God's 10 Commandments were NOT written by MOSES it was written by and spoken by GOD himself. So COL 2:14 is NOT referring to God's 10 Commandments it is referring to the ORDINANCES written in the BOOK of Moses that are fullfilled in Christ and the ORDINACES that were against us. That is the CURSES for DISOBEDIENCE in Deuteronomy 28 or the PENALTY for SIN

COL 2:14

blotting out (G1813; ἐξαλείφω; exaleiphō; ex-al-i'-fo; means to obliterate; erase; wipe away) the handwriting of ordinances which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way nailing it to the cross.

Is referring to the penalty of sins and the curses (Ordinaces which where against us Deuteronomy 28) but it is also including much more.

The Greek words used here is handwriting G5498 χειρόγραφον; cheirographon; which means; hand written legal document which is combined with ordinance G1378 δόγμα dogma dog'-mah From the base of G1380; which means; civil, ceremonial or ecclesiastical law: - decree;

The Greek meaning of handwriting of ordinances in V14 is a hand written legal document or book of civil, ceremonial and ecclesiastical laws. These are the laws referred to in verse 14 that have been erased and are nailed to the cross.

This is also referring to the temple and levitical priest hood and everything associated with sin offereing and civil laws under the OLD Covenant.

Now if you read the post you woul know that already dear.

SIN is the breaking of God's Commandments (James 2:9-11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4)

Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

.......................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

some say the rules in the new covenant are just the Ten

But is this a commandment also? that would be 11 commandments?

*“If your brother sins[k], go and[l]show him his fault[m]in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother.*16*But if he does not listen*to you, take one or two more with you, so that*by the mouth of two or three witnesses every[n]fact may be confirmed.

Hi Dan,

How many commandments in the 10 Commandments 613 or 10?

How many Commandments in God's LAW that God spoke in person and wrote with his own finger on two tables of stone?

What do you think the answer is to these questions?

Here are some clues (Exodus 34:28; Deut 4:13; 10:4)

What do you think the OLD Covenant is and what makes up the laws of the OLD COVENANT and what are their purpose and how to they relate to the NEW COVENANT?

SIN is the breaking of God's Commandments (James 2:9-11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4)

Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

i don't know that it does spell that out

it does seem that the father is also the creator God
This is what I mean Dan.

Such a simple fundamental understanding of who Jesus is, and you don't know.

16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered,
Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.

30 I and my Father are one.

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
56
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

58 Jesus said unto them,
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Even Abraham understood who Jesus was and what He would do for him.

8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

Jesus and His Father are one. Jesus didn't contradict, correct, or change the Father's Words. He followed His Father's command on how to created "ALL THINGS". As Jesus said, it was Him who spoke to Abram, it was Him who changed his name to Abraham. It was Him who created the week, and who sanctified the 7th day. All as the Father Commanded.

It was Him who said:

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

It was Jesus who said;

19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I (Jesus) have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice,(not religious men) and that thou mayest cleave unto him (Not religious traditions) for he is thy life,( not the image of the long haired playgirl centerfold model MC placed His name on) and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

When He says "My commandments" He is speaking to His Commandments as the One who created them and gave them to mankind.

This is my belief. This is why I know Jesus didn't battle against the Father in Col. 2, and "Triumph over Him" as "MANY" of the preachers "Who come in His Name, Preach.

This is why I know Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees religious teachings and not the Fathers in Matt. 5. It is this Jesus that we need to have Faith in, and it is His Word's spoken that we are to be admonished by. And they never change Dan.

7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

And again;

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

This foundation is the Rock to build our house on. Not "another Jesus" who didn't create "all things".

then looks to me that God is doing some kind of drama play for us

Mainstream Religious doctrine only survives if Jesus isn't telling the truth when He says "I and my Father are one".

So I posted several scriptures which seem to say there is no fundamental difference between Jesus the Man, and the Lord God of Abraham. But you just glossed over them all, completely ignoring these Word's of God and went right to the catholic creation of the trinity.

Why would you say Jesus and the God of Abraham can't be "one" unless
God is putting on a show for us?
I see these scriptures as fitting perfectly with every other teaching in the Bible, from Moses to Jesus to Paul and James.

Can you explain why you would say such a thing? It would help in this discussion if I understood why you believe this way.

18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Isn't it truth that God sent His Son to create "All things"? That this same God sent His Son to be humbled in the form of a man as part of His Salvation plan which begins with Passover that Abraham referred to?

Did Jesus rebel? No, He was the perfect obedient Son. Not only did He create "all things" as His father instructed, but He risked His own immortality to save us. 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

For this effort He was given great honor. 1 (A Psalm of David.) The LORD said unto my Lord, (Jesus) Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

No man has ever done such a thing for me. This is why I ignore religious traditions and doctrines of religious franchises and "work" and "seek" to know Him and His instructions.

At first it was hard to over come the ancient religious traditions which influence us all. But Jesus is Faithful to those who seek Him with their heart. "Seek and Ye shall find".

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

This is also referring to the temple and levitical priest hood and everything associated with sin offereing and civil laws under the OLD Covenant.

Now if you read the post you woul know that already dear.

We know there are thousand of motor vehicle brand, so the writer not mention it one by one.

I see these scriptures as fitting perfectly with every other teaching in the Bible, from Moses to Jesus to Paul and James.

Can you explain why you would say such a thing? It would help in this discussion if I understood why you believe this way.
when looking at John's use of "one", i think one may wish to take this into account

John 17: 21. That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one.

so, about the idea of God putting on a show for us

yhwh is the God who made the earth and the heavens here

Genesis 2: 4. These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God the earth and the heavens

is yhwh Jesus?
Psalm 110: 1. yhwh said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

is Jesus talking to himself here?maybe so, maybe he's just acting like two agents.

24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
do you believe the one sitting on the throne in rev 4 is Jesus, then?

there is a way of looking at the bible this way, that it's all Jesus. And then sometimes he takes on the role of the father,
sometimes he takes on the role of the spirit

This scripture does in no way erase the Biblical fact that it was Jesus, as the God of Abraham, who talked to Abraham, who created "All things" including His Commandments.

And it was God the Father who sent Him as He said.

24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

It's simple if one is willing to clear their mind from all the religious traditions we are born into.

1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

When did God the Father give Jesus power over all flesh? Am I to believe the catholic preaching that this didn't happen until Jesus the Man was born?

12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Is this not your Jesus? Or have you found a different one that didn't say this?

God the Father, whom no man has seen, said to His Son, who He sent to create "All things", Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Is this not Biblical truth?

I think this verse in Revelation does not erase all the other scriptures I have posted that shows who the Bible teaches Jesus is.

There are hundreds of different ways to look at the Bible, as many as there are churches. I don't care about all these? I do not use scriptures to justify religious traditions or beliefs that I was born into, or that belong to a certain religious franchise which appeals to me.. I study scriptures to seek God and His Righteousness, not to justify my religious lifestyle.

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

6
That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

The scripture is clear that there were no divisions between God the Father and His Son or their Spirit. So it seems even if Jesus does take on different roles as you suggest, the message, the teaching, the Word's would be the same.

you are correct

but it is very important information, I think, about how Jesus and the father are one

John 17: 11. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me,

that they may be one, as we are.

there is no erasing going on

it's a simple question, imo

do you believe the one sitting on the throne in rev 4 is Jesus?
