I recently came across information in Matthew 13 that someday we will shine like the sun...can you imagine...
Matthew 13

37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Which sounds like that will happen at the end of the 1000 year milinium...after satan is loosed out of the bottomless pit...
Also Jesus's face during the transfiguration shined like the sun...

1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
