[h=1]Psalms 118:24[/h]Viewing the King James Version. Click to switch to 1611 King James Version of Psalms 118:24.

[h=2]This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.[/h] (**************************************************)

I know this might sound familiar, good mornings, and what's the verse, but we all think alike, or should, have the mind of Christ, so it goes on.

Yesterday could be a bummed out day, some have gotten discouraged, blabbed with nonsense, but share your verse here, what the Lord is doing, not others.

I luv this scripture verse because " it is the day the Lord has made, We Will rejoice and be glad in it."
Why? the adversary does nothing good, he is a destructor, a destroyer, of everything, hope, wants to get us upset, and ruin a beautiful day. So get encouraged, get your bible out, or let the HOly Spirit speak, and share it, let's get encouraged today, and everyday. :)

[h=3]Salt and light[/h]13 ‘You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 ‘You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Let your conduct be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for He has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you. (Heb 13:5)

Romans 5:10 (KJV) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Would you like to be a secret agent?

Well, with God, you can be one.

Matthew 6:4 (VOICE)
"When you give to the needy, do it in secret—even your left hand should not know what your right hand is doing. Then your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you."

"You call me "Teacher" and "Lord," and rightly so, for that is what I am." John 13:13.

If the Lord insisted on my obedience He would simply become a taskmaster and cease to have any real authority. He never has insisted on my obedience, but when I truly see Him I instantly obey Him. He insists only on my placement. Then, He is easily Lord of my life, stress free and all in, and I live in adoration of Him from Morning to Night. I have found that the level of my growth in grace is revealed by the way I look at obedience. I should have a much higher view of obedience, rescuing it from the muck and mire of the World.

Obedience has become easier for me as I realize God from an equal stance in our relationship to one another; Like that between Father and Son, not in parallel to Master and Servant. Jesus has shown this example to me in John 10:30, "I and my Father are one."

"Tho, He was a Son, Jesus learned obedience thru the things He suffered." Heb. 5:8. The Son was obedient as Our Redeemer, because He was the Son, not in order to become God's Son. As He procured His position obedience ran after Him, and from that God was "well pleased." I thank God He is "well pleased" with me, for obedience is not a burden to me but a chasing from a placement realized and respectfully honored to have. God is so awesome....I love Him so. Thank You Lord!

Ty Jason, the wolves wear sheeps clothing, what do we wear, sometimes we go out naked into the world, better get our armor. That is a verse to take seriously, like in Israel, they get those Katosha rockets, sometimes hundreds a day, and let us not be caught off guard, but stay covered in Peace, confidence, and knowing he is leading us through to victory. :) Harmless yes, the world sits on the seat called paranoia, and use the untensils of fear, it is Wise to be gentle with those who's mind is not in rest, not in Christ, it is for our safety, to be Wise, and Gentle. amen brother, amen.

This is my best place to be most of the time, in the secret place of the most high. Psalm 91. In prayer, we are spiritually in his kingdom, for the kingdom of God is within us." it says so. The temple is within us, prayer, real secrets between my Lord and me.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

What other thing could light our path, and lead us. Everything the Lord did, was unto our spiritual life to be. If we use a flash lite, it dosn't help the spiritual darkness, and it doesn't lead us.
We are a chosen and called generation. How blessed we are to belong to a God like Jehovah, there is no God like him.

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.

3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that

suffering
produces perseverance;

4 perseverance, character;

and character, hope.

5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. (from Rom. 5)

I find this particular Scripture baffling.
This is the most simplest explanation that I found that makes the most sense.

"Our right hand and our left hand are both a part of us. When one of them lets the other know what it is doing, it is carrying on an inner conversation; a conversation in the brain. Jesus is telling us: Don't even think about it; don't congratulate yourself for your good deed; don't think about how few people would have done such a thing; don't dwell on the act. Even self-praise can lessen your reward. And, the more you think about it, the more likely you are to tell someone else. Don't even let your left hand know what your right hand is doing."

In other words, be humble in your giving and don't pat yourself on the back (even if you do so in secret just before God).

I hope this helps.
And may God bless you.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps. (1 Peter 2:21).

Why is suffering for Christ encouraging?

Let's continue to read a similar verse.

"Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;" (1 Peter 4:1).

Wow. That is encouraging. So if we truly will suffer in the flesh according to the BIble, that means will have ceased from sin.

Meaning.... sin will have no more dominion or control over you. You will have then.... stopped sinning those serious sins before God and you would not need to worry about confessing serious sins that grieve Him so very much. You would be able to walk pleasing before Him. This is something that I am striving to do myself. To not be under any control to sin anymore. So this verse is very encouraging to me. I believe it and hold onto it so very much and thank Jesus Christ for it.

Galations 4:6-7

And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts , crying out, "Abba, Father!". Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
