If churches read the bible book by book as it was traditionally read, even in synagogues, when they get to gospels and Revelation they cannot avoid mentioning what hell is. Because Jesus talked about it. Even some of the letters, like Jude, warned about it.

I dont know how some churches manage to avoid any mention at all, but sadly some do, as they prefer their own agendas and pick and choose what they want to share from the Bible. I have heard some only preach about faith and healing, and some will only have messages that are motivational. But then its not a topic that preachers these days with the exception of some evangelists like to discuss. Its too scary and discomforting for many people. We may be saved but we know many people who arent. To say to them you may be going to hell is confrontational and not an easy conversation. But dont forget we were all hellbound at some point when we didnt know the Lord and tempted to follow Satan.

Oh ok well I dont know why they talk about calvinism then as if its the greatest thing since sliced bread. I know Jesus, not calvin. We are chosen in Him i.e Jesus. The chosen(elect) ones were Israel from all the other nations because of the promise of God to Abraham. Via Jesus we are adopted into this chosen nation.
Yes, Keep focus on jesus, We have to many who want to try to follow men.. This man vs that man, Just ignore all that stuff, and follow Jesus, and no matter what churhc yuo go to. You will not be lead astray (by them or anyone else)

Its men following their agenda and pushing their agenda.

A man who is open to Gods word will preach Gods word. Not bits and peaces which only support their agenda

There is no doctrine from the bible that needs to be shared with unbelievers. The bible is God's word to His people only and is spiritually discerned.

Once the gospel is given to them we, as Christians, have no obligation to justify any of our beliefs to them.
We give them the answer to the hope that is in us.....Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. Period.

I'm sure there are people in these forums who are here day and night. It is their life and their duty to fix all of us.
