Graven Images

It is the 2nd commandment.God mentions this several times in the bible. How can one argue these scriptures? - The bible is the word of God. If you believe this, then you will believe the scriptures in it, that I've posted below.

I've seen people in the Catholic churches go against these scriptures. In fact, I witnessed everyone bow to the statues at the front of the church before sitting. It's common practise in a Catholic church.

Here is what God says....................

Exodus 20:4
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

Leviticus 26:1
Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.

Deuteronomy 4:16
Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female.

Deuteronomy 4:23
Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.

Deuteronomy 4:25
When thou shalt beget children, and children's children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger:

Deuteronomy 5:8
Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:

Deuteronomy 7:5
But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.

Deuteronomy 7:25
The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therin: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.

Deuteronomy 12:3
And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.

Deuteronomy 27:15
Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

If you see a church doing any of the things God has said no to, then run for the hills!

Catholicism is a man made religion. They started off ok in the beginning, but then began changing over time and started introducing Pagan traditions into the church. So it became all about what man wanted and not what God wanted.

Just like there are tons of restaurants out there that appear everyday - the same can be said of religions. I'm sure someone is thinking up a new religion now even. There is only one way to follow God! - to ask Christ to come into your heart and to forgive you for your sins. As soon as you do it (and genuinely mean it), you will feel the holy spirit jump inside you. It's amazing.

God left us the bible (look on it as a journal passed down to us!). Read it and take in what he tells you. DO NOT rely on man to tell you what is right or wrong. DO NOT let man tell you to do a ritual because it will get you to heaven. NO IT WON'T. Read your bible and everything you need is right there!

Pope is Pagan Not Catholic!

Yes, the pope is Pagan! The Christians were persecuted for not agreeing to adopt Paganism into the church. The Catholic church started off ok but gradually spiralled out of control and started introducing Pagan traditions into the church. People go to these churches thinking they are worshiping God when they are actually being deceived and carrying out rituals to Satan. Watch out!....................

For years, the RCC has relaxed its beliefs in order to get others into their fold. I will not do that.

True. But they are being deceived. The Catholic church has conveniently made it ok to do certain things that the bible says no to...and they have excuses for doing these things.

To fight the scriptures that are in the bible is to fight God and call him a liar.

Are you following God or man?

I have heard Catholics tell me that they don't bow to statues at all, yet as people arrived at a Catholic church I witnessed every one of them bow to statues at the front before they sat down. This is bowing and against God's word.

My only thoughts are that people should read their bibles and not rely on traditions of man, like priests and popes. Bible churches have it right, as we follow what God says in the bible. It doesn't get simpler than that! - Read your bible and don't listen to priests.

There are so many things wrong. In the bible, God says you are not to call someone 'Father' other than him (he was talking about religiously). You should not call a priest 'Father' yet everyone does.

By the way - I'm not bashing or hating Catholics - I just don't like Catholicism. There's a difference. My partner is Catholic, but is doing a lot of research with me. He's finding things out that don't support the Catholic Church's practices...

NEW WORLD ORDER - Masons/Paganism taking over US Government...

Just before 1934, the Masons (who own the private banks in the US) began ownership of the government (because of money - they lent them money and in return they took over the government). In 1934 the Masons printed the US money that we have today.

The Masons were scheming to have a New World Order since back in the 30's. A New World Order will mean a one world government, one religion (which is set to be the Illuminati group, consisting of Catholic church/Pagans joining with Masons/Pagans, joining also with Bohemians/Pagans), one police, one courts system - so the world will unite as one.

Look at the back of the $1 bill - do you see the many Masonic symbols? The money was designed by the Masons. Here is a picture of the money I talk of.......

The Catholic church will be leading the religious group as the pope has already opted for that role as religious leader - hence why he is traveling around trying to unite the masses as one religion, so it's already happening!

It talks in the Revelation of something happening like this - the Government and Masons are potentially the ones spoken of that "feed" the beast - in other words, allow the beast to deceive the masses.

One more thing - all the US presidents were Mason - I'm guessing that since the Masons own the government, only Masons would be allowed to be president. There is evidence of this Masonic/Pagan religion within the US government. All you have to do is google "Mason handsign" to find all the US presidents doing it - the handsign of the devil's horns. The presidents also all do a special Mason handshake.

President Lincoln warned of this happening and I believe tried to stop it. The only president that refused to go through with what the Masons wanted was Kennedy, and he died. It was believed he may have been killed for a reason.

Look at this....... Do you see the twin towers gradually collapsing into a cloud of smoke? - the Masons designed this money back in 1934, but the twin towers didn't collapse until 2001. Did the Masons plan this?

The problem is Rome wanted to appease the christians while not upsetting the pagans as they would have had a civil war on their hands. so they mixed pagan ritual and belief to make church more appeasing to the pagans. then enforced this style of Chritianity throughout it's empire.

At the end of the day, the bible has told us of things that will happen in the world. The Revelations talk about the end of times and things to come. I am simply looking at things happening in the world right now and looking at the bible to see if they are spoken of there.

It's not Christianity... not by a long shot.. pleasing people doesn't please the Lord! I grew up catholic and learned all the rituals and Thank the Lord his Holy Spirt convicted me and I was saved into true Christianity now i walk with Jesus.

Pray that the Holy Spirit convict other catholics and bring them to the Living Jesus so they to shall be saved.

What you posted is offensive to catholics, besides being pointless.

I have researched Catholicism to death. It is a Pagan religion, not Christian.

I challenge you to research Catholicism. My partner is Catholic and he is doing just that, finding out things he never knew.

95% of Catholics don't read their bibles, they rely on the priests. This is bad. If they read their bibles they would know what God wanted of them and they would see that they are going against his wishes.

I do not mean any ill words towards you personally or any Catholics. It's not Catholics I dislike, it's the religion, Catholicism. It's my belief that the Catholic church were fine in the beginning, as they followed God's word, but then man took over and started introducing traditions that are not mentioned anywhere in the bible. So then, it became about man and not about God. God has said he did not want this.

By the way, I'm not trying to convert you, I'm just trying to share with you, so you can understand what I'm getting at.

I'm a born again christian. I became born again after asking Christ into my heart and asking him for forgiveness of my sins. After doing this, I felt the holy spirit within me and it changed me completely. I have a personal relationship with Christ by praying to him in the privacy of my own room (so not vain prayer) and through reading the bible. The bible is like a journal and a love letter, passed down to us. It's the word of God.

Born again Christians do not hang pictures of Jesus in their homes or churches, for the bible says not to have any images in the likeness of Jesus, etc, etc.

As for crucifixes - us born again Christians have an empty cross, which does not have Jesus on it. Sure, Jesus died for our sins, but we do not agree with showing a suffering Jesus over and over again. He died once and it should not be relived everyday. We celebrate that he's risen from the dead - therefore he is no longer on the cross. The empty cross is 2 pieces of wood in the shape of a cross that represents how our sins were taken away, but no visual Jesus on it and certainly no pictures.

Anyone that has images in the likeness of Jesus is going against God's word - the bible says so.

Large font is unnecessary.
