Got into an argument/discussion/debate, with someone, and things seem to be going fairly well, as far as "your" talking points, or "logical progression" of your side of the conversation goes.....Just to find, usually towards the end of the conversation, that, although, you faithfully executed and applied love into your honest discourse/s, (much LIKE a hunter, in the stalking of his/her prey), ARE COMING TO a conclusion, that you ARE being, or have BEEN LED, or more correctly? Artfully STEERED, miles AWAY from a/the point/s you HAD been trying to "communicate" at the onset? (Deep in the woods....Far down the "rabbit hole").
Congratulations!!....You have successfully been manipulated to a "place", called in the O.T. as a "vanishing point"! Now YOU, are in grave danger! O foolish virgin!....In your "vanity", you have "spent" your "oil", by using the love, along with other "fruit of the Spirit", (knowingly....but by FAR unknowingly) in the successful uncaulking of your boat, which is sinking in the "flood" that has gotton you TO this place!
For SURE, The Lord GIVES FREELY, the "oil" (caulk) to patch up the gaps in your "boat" (in the progressive revisings, and redrawings of the blue print/s for your life, where your onced WAS boat, is NOW a submarine, with "an ability", to successfully go into conversations without losing your, or the original point, or intent of purpose).
However, as a consequence, you have left that, which you had used to get to that vanishing point, there! To be sure, to be recouped at a later date, is not something one may look favorably towards. Yet, recouped, is not merely "an option", for the successful pilgrim, it's a mandatory requirement, for those that choose to Press on!

A self-deceived believer does not wanna be reached!....It is a far better thing, when found in the midst of these types, to run...don't walk away from them!
