Have you noticed how the Lord forgives us of our sins when we repent? Some people draw a picture of him as an awful being. Aren’t they paying attention?

That doesn't make sense. And the story of Job is incredibly evil. He bet the devil Job wouldn't lose his fait by killing his whole family, covering him in sores, then giving him a new one in place and extra years on his life. That's the very definition of evil, not love. A loving god wouldn't do that to his faithful, he'd have smoked the rebel angel years ago instead of letting him reign free steering people away from him and his paradise. Nothing about christian god makes sense, read... the... bible...

no they are not and neither are most people who say they have found God.

People don't understand what evil is and try and judge God by their corrupt human standards. They think wealth, good physical health, abundant knowledge of the world, power over others are goals to strive for.

They don't understand Jesus message or His gospel. They twist and corrupt things they see and have no comprehension of the mysteries of the things they do not understand.

To be great in the Kingdom of Heaven you must be a servant. God does not want sacrifices of blood and riches, He wants a humble and contrite heart. A repentant sinner willing to learn His ways and His truth.

Ask yourself this WAS JOB PERFECT and Sinless? He was found blameless but not sinless. In the end he was tempted by his pride to speak out wrongfully against God. It showed that even those who are good and righteous in the world are not that way along but only because GOD has protected and guided them. Otherwise humans alone will be lead into temptation and fall into sin and rebellion against God.

it but a switch to turn on our cancerous genes, a few spiritual strongholds to war against Christ.

I'm in a microbiology class and people would wince but we are learning about cancerous cells. They have a class of genes called proto-ocogenes which are normally in our genome and activated when we are in the womb. we have tumor suppressor genes that inhibit mitosis of abnormal cells, apoptosis genes that have abnormal cells self destruct, angiogenesis genes that create new blood vessels to feed the tumor and Metastasis genes that spread the cancerous cells to other parts of the body it should not be found in.

sometimes I think humans are like cells, some have become cancerous. they turn off their tumor suppressor genes and gobble up resources they don't really need and just expand and expand themselves beyond the boundaries God has set for them.

Or they do unethical things to remain alive like harvest organs from other humans who would have lived if they didn't do it. there is a black market on human organ transplants.

The story of Job shows the need of a SAVIOR and why Jesus needed to come and cast out Satan from Heaven.

If you want to understand God it takes more then just reading the Bible, it takes a humble and contrite heart lead by the HOLY Spirit to open your eyes, heart and mind to GOD's truth not just what others say God is but for Him to reveal to YOU who HE really is and reveal to YOU who YOU really are.

It does make sense. Too many Christians paint a picture of the Lord as a terrible, vengeful being. That isn’t fair to the Lord.

People make it sound like the Lord entertains himself by creating billions of people and then torturing most of them forever. That is not the way the Lord is—he disciplines, for our own good, and then forgives. Who is going to worship a Lord who entertains himself by creating billions of people and then torturing most of them forever?

I will lay My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel, that they may do in Edom according to My anger and according to My fury; and they shall know My vengeance,” says the Lord God.

God is love indeed, but He can also be angry, he can hate, He can be "envious", He can bring vengance.

You are living with your own understanding about the Lord and it is all subjective. Our understanding must be rooted in the word and doctrine if we are to operate by faith in the mind of Christ. We can not have our own thoughts about who God is and how he operated toward man. This is why we have the written word and the Spirit and we must function with both and as we do we must forsake our own thoughts. Read (Is 55:6-11) and meditate on it for awhile.

Phil 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus

I found that out today. I really recently messed up badly and cried out to him to deliver me and he lead me to this bible passage today as a guide for what I needed to do, to pray.

Psalms (KJV) 143
1.Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
2. And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.
3. For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.
4. Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.
5. I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse (think) on the work of thy hands.
6. I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
7. Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit faileth: hide not they face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
8. Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
9. Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.
10. Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
11. Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name's sake: for thy righteousness sake bring my soul out of trouble.
12. And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.

Tinkerman....Gods ways are higher then ours. There are a lot of stuff that we do not understand while being mere mortals. He is our creator. He is the lover of our souls. If you want the answers to your question ASK HIM. I promise you that he will answer you. Be patient. Wait on the Lord for he is good, glorious, and the grand of grand. He is love.

He is our heavenly Father. It is his job to discipline us. Personally I am thankful when he tries me and bends me and stretches me and teaches me through discipline. It makes me better in him.

YES !

God is our saviour, He is ungreenest of all green, He is more experienced than any body on planet Earth, He knows all, does all, will do all, in the end, to make things go His way, for His glory, and, YOUR blessings IF you play your cards right ;)

God does not no nigh NEVER convict us, people get the idea that God convicts His own, those, that is, that have CHOSEN to elect Him as their Savior and Lord.

YOU voted 'YES! ' Now, He answered your vote after He had first DRAWN you to Him. Wow ! Yeah, I guess it is confusing, but it's the Truth, and, it may be confusing to us, but assuredely, God is NEVER trying to confuse only correct, admonish, rebuke, and, discipline, and, YES! , even He will SCOURGE His own.

Convict means ALREADY proven guilty, no, no NO ! Not my God and not yours either :)

An absolutely positively 100% Truthful post, sooooo many think that God is having them in arrears for something and is CONVICTING them to change. No! NOT if you are already His, He, yes!, does want you to work OUT your salvation with fear and trembling but that has absolutely positively nothing to do with making YOU feel guilty. That is ALL Satan's doing !! ALL !!!!

He leads us beside still waters too , there we can washed clean in the waters.

God is our ever-present help in our times of trouble. Psalm 46:1 .

That's some verse there, it , indeed, speaks of a loving God who Loves us so much, in so many ways :)

There's a song similar to this Psalm , iambeckah.

'Create in me a clean heart , O God, and, renew a right spirit within me.

Cast me not away from Thy presence , O Lord..... '

And , we aré to know God will never leave us nor forsake us and then also , as Peter says, we aré to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.' :)

We all err, God forgives us and drops 'it' (into the bottom of deepest depths of the sea , never to be recalled EVER again by Him, gone, what was done is gone :)
God is our Loving parent, Father in Heaven :)
