First we must correct the premise that they are innocent. They are not innocent but guilty before God.

The gospel has gone into all the world. There are parts of the world where evil men have suppressed the gospel and allowed evil to rule. The children and the children's children of these are suffering because of this self imposed darkness.

John 3:15-21 shows forth Gods great provision and mans rejection along with the reasons. It is sad and it should plague all of us. Its called a burden for lost souls. I cannot reach them all but by Gods grace I will reach those He allows me to reach.

In other words, people who remain in their own faith system (taught to them by their parents, parents-parents and who do not accept the Christian gospel ... are evil.

I will turn it around for a moment: Let us say a Jew comes up to me and tries to convert me. I tell him no. I am a Christian. I was born a Christian and thank you but NO thank you. My mind tells me that I am correct and that he/she has it all wrong. Does this make me evil, or just ignorant of the truth?
Finally for those who do NOT oppose the gospel directly (in other words, their children and their children's children ... are those ones also going to Hell?
if you trust in your own understanding

or man

over TRUTH

that's on you
(not YOU as in you... lol you as in man/woman in general)

no one who honestly wants truth will find it anywhere other than Christ

i think the biggest assumption youre making is that

if you are born in a "religion"

you will definitely believe it

this isnt true.....

If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very word of God ... KJV1Peter4;11 11."If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen." In the next verse an exemple of righteous judgment, But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him ... KJVJude1;9 9." Yet Michael the archangel, when contenting with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, dust not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee"

I am not planning on getting into this. But was simply curious how people answer.

So basically God has to judge who will be saved and who will not be. Satan and his angels got cast out of Heaven for sin.

Adam and Eve God cast out of Eden for sin.

All of us have sinned.

So how is God going to let some in and others not in?

I hope there will be a little thought go into this as it requires such. Jesus did die for sins. But not everyone who says Lord Lord etc, is going.

Belief in Jesus is also not a great answer as it means different things to different people. SO if you can unpack what belief in Jesus means practically for the christian.

Blessings.
JESUS IS the WORD of GOD and GOD's WORD Is the truth, the law Is GOD's perfect standard of righteousness and anyone that Is under law would be a person who has not been reborn of INCORRUPTIBLE seed and will be judged by the law/GOD's perfect standard of Righteousness.

Grace and truth came by JESUS and anyone who was not under Grace would have to EARN salvation and because of the weakness of the flesh they would not be perfect and therefore unacceptable to GOD because although they would delight In the law of GOD they would see another law warring against the law of their mind and bringing them Into captivity to the law of sin which Is In the flesh.

I think it has more to do with both, Christ being the just One according to the letter of His law... and the Justifier in respect to the Spirit of grace. As a work of His faith or labor of his love he has paid the whole wage.

This is in respect to those who know they will not be found with any righteousness of themselves .But will be found with a imputed righteousness as our Savior works in us to both will and work in us to the good pleasure of Hid purpoes

For all have sinned, and come short of the
glory of God;Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. A perfect and righteous judge does not judge according to how he feels. or what he desires. he judges according to the letter of the law.

God put man on the earth, he told him one sin (any sin) has a penalty with it, That penalty is death.

Since all have sinned and fall short of Gods glory, as a righteous judge, God has declared everyone guilty. when it comes to judgment day, All people will be found guilty, and unless something can redeem the persons sin, that person will suffer the penalty.

A righteous judge can not accept payment for sin that does not fit the bill. If the penalty was death. Only death can pay for the sin. A righteous judge can not say, You did works, Ok I will let you in, You give me this much money or do these things for me, and I will let you in, That would be an unrighteous judge.

Since the penalty of sin is death, and since only death can redeem sins. God came to earth, and he suffered death in the sinners place. Thus, if this redemptive act is applied to the sinners account, that person has been redeemed, and will not suffer the penalty of sin themselves. (eternal)

A righteous judge does not respect persons. He offers this sane redemption to everyone, A right4eous judge does not force people to accept his gift of redemption. He offers it, and if the person rejects his gift, they will suffer their fate if they do, they will pass from death to life (be forgiven)

Having a true, genuine desire to do your best to follow God and His commands, accepting His truths and setting Him sincerely above anything else.
I'm sure many will get into long posts of a list of rules. I kept my simple. As it should be. From these three you can branch out into what that means for each individual.
so as long as I desire and try really really really hard. A righteous judge will just forgive me of the death penalty? even though I earned that penalty because of my sin? How is that a righteous judge?

Psalm 51:

1 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.

2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!

3 For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me.

4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you may be justified in your words and blameless in your judgment.

and it would be good to come to an understanding of Paul's reasoning in Romans 3:1-6.

also look at Genesis 18 when God told Abraham He was going to destroy Sodom. Study the discussion God had with Abraham.

I am sorry, I cannot sit here and pretend I understand God's mind....... TO simply express and answer to your main question goes something like this.........Because HE is GOD

I thought I would add a commentary to this thread...

Where do the people of Earth get off when asking How can God Judge US and remain righteous himself.

....He made you, He can take you Out.

Ask yourself this...How did you feel for that worm (one of the lowest animals on earth) when you placed it on that hook just before your threw it in the water so you might catch a fish....Oooooh, Sooooo, it was only food for the fish?????

Did you remorse for it.. DID you feel its pain or EVEN ASK if it could feel pain?????...you did not create it yet you just used it for your purposes without any thought of its well being whatsoever.

In reality, You Judged that worm and found it not even worthy of a thought about its Death.

Now,,Ask that Question again...."How can God Judge and Remain Just?" and answer it from within you...

If you can!

Have a good Day.

We serve a God who is of one mind and alaways does whatsoever his soul pleases. It is Him who works in us he can make our hard hearts soft.

I would think as long as God works in us to both will and do his good pleasure according to his desire. Then we have a living hope as the kind of food the disciples knew not of called Manna, which literally means "what is it". In that way God shares no familiarity with our flesh he is not a man as us. His thoughts are not ours vice versa.

Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. Joh 4:30

I think bread of His daily word as He works in us he gives us the new desires of our new hearts. You could say He gives us the “trying power” as the finishing power, Christ our confidence to the end.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

"Difficult is the way that many will be eliminated" that leads to eternal hellfire. Why? Remember the gate is Jesus (John 10:1).

Man can come before God only on one premise, and that is by and through the shed Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
When Jesus said, “No man cometh to the Father but by Me,” He was speaking of what He would do at the Cross of Calvary, which would make all of this possible (John 14:6).

Is the worker of iniquity saved (Matthew 7:21-23)? Why does a worker of iniquity come under judgement (Matthew 7:21-23)?

Matthew 7:21-23 King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]21 [/SUP]Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in Heaven.
[SUP]
22 [/SUP]Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy Name? and in thy Name have cast out devils? and in thy Name done many wonderful works?

[SUP]
23 [/SUP]
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.

It must only be Faith placed and maintained exclusively in Christ and the Cross of Calvary where the victory was won, i.e., The Finished Work, i.e., The Blood of Jesus, or
you cannot be His Disciple (this refers to a denial of dependence on self, and total trust being placed in Christ and what He has done for us at the Cross).

The criteria alone is Christ and Him Crucified (1 Cor. 1:23). We have access to God only through Christ, and access to Christ only through the Cross, and access to the Cross only through a denial of self (Lk.9:23); any other Message is judged by God as "iniquity," and cannot be a part of Christ (1 Cor. 1:17).

Important: What is the will of the Father? See verse 23!

Can you give more explanation on we must place and MAINTAIN our faith In the cross?
Does a tree grow fruit without recieving sustenance?
GOD saves us and equips us.
How do WE maintain faith?
