The gospel of Jesus Christ was not preached during the earthly ministry of Jesus, rather, the gospel of the kingdom. Peter and the disciples had no understanding of the d,b,r for sins because it was hidden from them by God.

I can agree what was happening and going to come WAS hid from his disciples until his d,b& r.

His gospel was NOT hid, he plainly stated why he came and for whom and who's will he followed .

He spoke in parables to those following after him bc he wanted the Jews understanding darkened, otherwise they would believe and he would have to heal them.

There are times when ppls sins were exposed Jesus said" thy sins are forgiven,go and sin no more"' before he did anything on their behalf.

Furthermore a testament has to have the testator die. It is The Gospel of Jesus Christ that redeems ppl.

That is the GOSPEL that Paul learned and by HS inspiration he admonished, instructed, corrected rebuked and taught Christ follows sanctification!

Sanctification and correct appointment & leadership of the church was Paul's mission.

Jesus preached the gospel and made God known . Paul was one of his 12 chosen messengers appointed to spread the same gospel into the world

Paul didn’t preach anything new he taught revelation of what Jesus said and did just like John , Peter , James and the rest
Paul did not go around saying, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand.” The message was for Israel only. Miracles accompanied this message.

Matthew 10
5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Let’s take a look at the events given by Luke.

Luke 9
1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
3 And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.
4 And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart.
5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.

Later…

Luke 18
31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:
33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.
34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

They had no understanding of the gospel Paul preached.

Later…

Luke 24
6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
8 And they remembered his words,
9 And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.
10 It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.
11 And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.
12 Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.

Even after the resurrection, the disciples had no clue and did not believe it.

When Jesus ate dinner with "Tax Collectors and sinners" He was being a friend to them. Not once was Jesus telling those who were indeed sinners to "Stop stealing, stop whoring", or anything else like that.

Jesus was a Friend To Sinners.

Jesus didn't tell Zacheus to do anything... Zacheus offered.

Somehow people already know right from wrong.
Jesus critics called him a Friend of sinners along with accusing Him of being gluttunous and a wine bibber.

You do not know that Jesus did not tell Zacchaeus to do anything. It does not say how much time had passed or what had occurred between the time Jesus said that he would stay in his house 'today' and the time Zaccha. You are making an argument based on silence. We get details here and there, like the conversation with the Samaritan woman.

Jesus did tell the rich young ruler what to do. He also pointed out the sin of religious leaders. He would at times tell people He healed or helped to sin no more. He told a crippled man his sins had been forgiven him-- implying the man had sinned.

The word "Gospel" literally means "Good News" .
How bad a person is in God's view is NOT good news.
If someone does not know that God's wrath is against him, then He may not appreciate exactly how reconciliation with God is good news. People need to have some understanding of the Gospel in order to believe it.

And it's not my job to tell them. It IS MY JOB to tell them how much God has done for me and how good God is. AND how a personal relationship with a loving and kind God is always good.
Is this the type of language and the same concepts Jesus and the apostles used? Jesus talked about knowing God and Jesus Christ Whom He had sent. But what do people think if they hear 'personal relationship?' Do they think of seeing Jesus personally at the dinner table? Do they think of a 'me and Jesus' relationship with no accountability to the church? If they have a personal computer, it's theirs password secured, and no one is supposed to use it without permission. Their car is their personal property. If they do not want anyone else in.... well it is their personal property.

And if you tell them God is good, without explanation, are they going to think they will not be persecuted or have difficulties.... and never face discipline from God either. Some of these concepts need a little explanation.

A lot of people do not know what 'sin' means or what actually constitutes sin, so if you tell them Jesus died for their sins, they may not quite get it. This is especially true if you start thinking of different cultures.

I believe the kingdom of God is a spiritual kingdom for the Jew and Gentile. However, the gospel of the kingdom was only for the Jew.

No where in any way did I describe trying to give license to sin and ongoing sins.

Nor do I......ever.

However I don't believe that it's necessary to browbeat people into submission either.

It's not my job to "teach people by harming them by the same means they harmed me" or by doing worse.

To the truly sinful they already feel as if they can't go to God. Apparently you seek to ensure that.

Will you show me with, Scripture, how the Kingdom of God and The Kingdom of Heaven are different? I believe they are the same Kingdom.

First of all, the word “God” and the word “heaven” never mean the same thing. God is a spirit. Heaven is a created place. God is spiritual, heaven is a physical place.

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Nope, I quoted scripture correctly. I will never quote from a corrupt new version.

The KOH is a physical kingdom come to earth promised to Israel with their Messiah reigning on the throne of David in Jerusalem over the whole earth.

The KOG is a spiritual kingdom of righteousness that dwells in the heart of the believer.

Both were at hand during Christ’s ministry, but since the Jews rejected him, the spiritual kingdom was offered to the Gentiles. The KOH will be realized and come to earth at the second coming of Jesus Christ. Both kingdoms will be present.

First, do you believe Jesus is coming back to earth to restore the kingdom of Israel, reigning on the throne of David?

This message of this promised kingdom was what the disciples were preaching before the cross and anticipating after the resurrection.

Acts 1
6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

They were starting to understand the reason for the cross, but still desired the fulfillment of the covenant God made with Israel.

I was quoting the Hebrew. Not any specific translation. It's literally "waters of waters of waters of waters"

Never mind you are not going to show me Scriptures comparing the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God . Non the less i will answer your compound question. in the form of a compound question" First, do you believe Jesus is coming back to earth ... Yes

back to earth to restore the kingdom of Israel, reigning on the throne of David? ....NO

Could have been a nice conversation if you would have reply as directly

You can compare examples from Matthew and Mark. Matthew says kingdom of heaven, and Mark says kingdom of God.

There may also have been the practice of using another word for God rather than directly mentioning Him. At some point, Jews in general did not say the divine name YHWH, also. Some Jews spell 'God' as 'G-d' in English.

What does this have to do with the meaning of 'kingdom of God' and 'kingdom of heaven' and if there isa difference?

Matthew 10:23
Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!” (NKJV)

Matthew 19:23
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. (NKJV)

Bold emphasis not in the original translation.

Given some of the other trends with the way Jews used religious language, especially in reference to God, it seems likely that 'kingdom of heaven' may be been more polite religious language, deemed reverential to God.
