And it's not just something you're doing? Like do any of you deep down know that it's true or are you just doing it, if you get what I mean? I'm not really convinced that it's true right now and I could use some help.
The Old Testament predicted the arrival of Jesus Christ.
Zechariah 9:9
Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion!
Shout in triumph, daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold,
your king is coming to you;
He is righteous and endowed with salvation,
Humble, and mounted on a donkey,
Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
The Old Testament also predicted how we would treat Jesus Christ.
Zechariah 11:12-13
And I said to them, “If it is good in your sight, give me my wages; but if not, never mind!” So they weighed out
thirty shekels of silver as my wages. Then the Lord said to me, “
Throw it to the potter, that magnificent price at which I was valued by them.” So I took the thirty shekels of silver and threw them to the potter in the house of the Lord.
Jesus was betrayed by Judas for thirty shekels of silver.
The prophecies of the future messiah in the Old Testament, written centuries before Jesus arrived.
Clearly tell us that Jesus was the promised savior of the world.
The death, resurrection, and divinity of the Christ, are beyond any debate, fact.
