Much has been said in this forum about many interpitaions and understandings.
Many have debated what will be and what is to come, what is truth and what is false.

The other day, I looked up how many scriptures speak to faith.
I was amazed at how many there were. :)
Ill share the number later because...
I wrote it down and forgot where I put it, but I have faith I will find it! :)

So, I thought it would be a good work to discuss just how important faith is, and how it will affect one's walk now and in the days to come.
Not just in recieving salvation, but to the streangth and help we can look to no matter what we shall face in Jesus.

I believe all we know and recieve in Jesus is recieved by faith.
I also believe that faith, is what will bring all that sustains us in Jesus through all difficulties and any confusion or deception.
As Jesus spoke to in the storm at sea," Have you so little faith!"
I believe faith is very important in one and all's walk.

Please share your thoughts and understanding on faith.

God bless.

Hebrews 11:6
(6) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Ephesians 2:8
(8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Faith lays hold on the promises of God

I do remember where I put the note with how many scriptures, but it is in the room where hubby is sleeping, so it will wait untill tomorrow. :)
He has to wake at 4am and I hate to disterb him.

I dont know if any of you are recieving this in Jesus.
But lately, the importance of faith has been set before me more than ever before.
I do not want any to think I am dismissing anything else that is important in our walk with Jesus, all things given are to be recieved and sought in Jesus.
I am simply bringing to discussion what is being set powerfully upon my heart in Jesus, and sharing this.
But one simply has to look to the world, and see how all that is the truth in Jesus and scriptures, is continuasly being torn apart by so called unbelieving scholors and the dismiss Jesus from God teachings.
The divides even within our christian brothers and sisters.
Also how many are terribly discouraged by what is the world and loss of faith in Jesus.
I see so much of this happening simply because too often now, many are looking to evidence.
Both that which proves, what one recieves, or feels.
To many resting in understanding or the evidence.
I believe there are days coming that will test the faith of many, (no not a prophacy) just paying attention to what is happening and seeing the signs.
That in ones witness, we need to emphasize that faith is not about evidence, but is the evidence!
We need to witness to holding on when one has nothing else but faith in Jesus Christ is Lord come in the flesh.
Jesus has been teaching me how powerful faith is, and that faith will sustain all who seek Him through the worst storms and attacks.
Thus why this post, because we truelly need to bring the powerful message of faith to many.
So that when all that is spoken to happens, wether it is us or our children or theirs, that faith will powerfully move the mountain easly in Jesus!
So we may all speak to the streangth and power of faith, in Jesus Christ is Lord come in the flesh.

Scripture says, there are three things that last, faith, hope and love!

in Jesus, God bless.

Loving this thread right now!

"Faith indeed tells what the senses do not tell, but not the contrary of what they see. It is above them and not contrary to them." - Blaise Pascal

We shouldn't forget that Christianity provides the lense through which we view the world, not a way in which we can hide from the world. If we see something that seems to contradict something we believe in our faith, then we need to weigh it out fairly and try to understand. There is no error in the Word of God, but there can be error in our interpretation and understanding. We need to humble ourselves a bit and recognize that no matter how much we read the Bible and no matter how much we attend Church, we do not know all the mysteries and secrets of the universe. We only understand in part...don't forget it lol

Thank you for posting this. I agree that we can sometimes get lost in the arguments and debates over doctrine and interpretation. Faith in Christ Jesus is what unites us, so it's great to keep getting those reminders.
