I from China and live in China, we can go Church freely,no one get persecution.

"persecution"
It's just some home church that doesn't have a registration, and it's going to happen.
It may be possible to avoid banning the home church, but only through registration]

So where you live then in China? If you go to a registrated church, you will of course have no persecution.

You know "three self" church. We are not only "three self " church
I knew two group use same church.

I do not support teaching the end times.
Jesus is the First and the Last .
First , the word of god became flesh,Jesus Christ was born,Atone for our sin and save the world
The second coming became last day, rember last day/time is the First, the word of god became flesh,Jesus Christ was born,Atone for our sin and save the world.
The second coming is still for save us,It has nothing to do with sin, only for life.
Jesus is the First (day)and the Last (day) .
I am a little unclear on what you mean. Does the government in China forbid churches from teaching that Jesus will return for the saints and raise the dead? What about other eschatological teaching?

Pointing out that Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life is a great truth, but it does not really answer my question.

They can preach the healing ,but I think the "healing" about only "sick" need a doctor,Not physically, but Spiritual
Does the government forbid ministers in the churches from teaching people to pray to God for physical healing, praying for healing, from anointing the sick with oil, etc?

I heard there were some restrictions on this, but that was decades ago. It could be reports that made it back to the US were inaccurate, or only reflected the policies of one or more province, or that things have changed over time.

A friend of mine, a preacher, who spent time teaching English in China said Three Self churches were kind of like Methodist churches. The house churches had different doctrine and did not want to join Three Self. A lot of them were Charismatic. Not all of course. Some of the Three Self people were not Charismatic and considered the house church's doctrine to be off, so some of them reported house churches to the authority, and that this has created a rift between the two movements. Also, some of the Three Self leaders early on, I read, held to 'liberal' theology, and some of those who went in the house church direction wanted leaders who held to the basic doctrines of the faith.

According to my friend, some of the Three Self people would think house churches are made up of heretics or Christians that are a bit off. And some of the house church people thought those who went to Three Self Churches were false Christians, persecutors of the church.

I have also heard of some of the Three Self congregations becoming Charismatic.

I hear that the government eventually allowed a great deal of freedom for the house churches-- which may not all meet in homes. 'House church' became the name for meetings that were not the Chinese version of the RCC or Three Self. Then, under Xi Jinping, in many provinces, the government began cracking down and hauling house church leaders off to jail, replacing crosses on walls with pictures of the president, etc.

Btw, 'Three Self' is an awful sounding name for a denomination, at least in English. It is also anachronistic, referring to some specific historical issues in missions. What do you call it in Chinese and what does it mean?

Three self meaning
1.Self management
2.Feed self through the dedication of believers
3.Preach alone whithout Any intervention

I have said only Only registered churches are legal.

Yes,some "three self" elder don't like home church.

But Still, many family churches are acquiesced

Still, it sounds funny, to have 'self' in the name of a church. Do they put 'Three Self' on the sign? Does it sound as bad in Chinese? I realize there was a movement to have these three characteristics-- kind of a statement against foreign controlled churches. Still, this is an odd emphasis for a church name. And it sounds really strange when translated in English and told to foreigners who do not know the three points. Maybe the Chinese sounds better, and if you don't go around saying, 'Three Self' or put it on signs, it may not be a big issue there.

What is a 'family church' in China?

What is a 'family church' in China?
Usually no church building to preach gospel,
If there is a family church with a church building, it may or may not be banned
Only registered churches are legal.

How is Verification of Apostles done today?
Two forms of approved ID.

Their last bank statement.

An iris scan.

And finally a DNA test to see if Christ’s Blood runs through them.

IMO, most of those calling themselves Apostles today, are not. Apostles that is. In fact, I am not sure there are any. Period.

Take a gander at the New Apostolic Reformation. No. Really really take a look and so research.

and then run.

I still do not understand what you mean. Do you mean that certain families own church buildings? Do they meet in a family home or a large hall? By 'family' do you mean father, son, and child, or some large extended family network? Are some of these three self churches?

The answer just as what you think and ask.

This has to be the oddest statement I’ve read on here. Nothing Peter ever did was worse than the Christian killing Paul did. Nothing. Peter actually knew Christ and was respected by Christ so much he gave Peter the keys to heaven. When Paul wanted to be reconciled with the apostles in Jerusalem, it was Peter he sought out. You have a very twisted view of one of these holy people. The day you are martyred upside down on a cross come talk to me.
Wow. What a wretched message to come to. I hope you don't speak to all like this.

So you imply Peter isn’t worth dying for in your opinion and you added that contemptuous comment about the rock and you think I’m the one sending the wrong message? Check the mirror buddy. I didn’t get online acting like one of Christ’s martyrs is worth dying to protect more than another one is.

I'd gladly lay down my life to save the life of Peter. But since you have somehow paraphrased me so as to make me look wildly as something other than what I am, it is clear that there is no sense in continuing to have a reasonable, rational conversation.

My shoes are incredibly dusty . . .

You seriously can’t see how I wouldn’t come to the conclusion I did after you said this?

“That man . . . I would lay down my life if he told me to do so, but I would not have done that for Peter (the alleged "rock").”

The contempt is about as obvious as it gets.

friend, how does this compare?

Revelation 1:18-20
J.B. Phillips New Testament
17-20 When my eyes took in this sight I fell at his feet like a dead man. And then he placed his right hand upon me and said, “Do not be afraid. I am the first and the last, the living one. I am he who was dead, and now you see me alive for timeless ages! I hold in my hand the keys of death and the grave. Therefore, write down what you have seen, both the things which are now, and the things which are to be hereafter. The secret meaning of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and of the seven golden lampstands is this: the seven stars are the angels of the seven Churches and the lampstands are the Churches themselves.”

I respect both Peter and Paul, holy brethren asleep in Christ.
