While the rapture is a divine event, occurring in the blink of an eye, The 2nd advent of Christ with His armies is a later event when the battle of Armageddon will occur.

None of that is biblically accurate. It is changing of bodies from mortal to immortal that is done "in twickling of an eye". That not said about the rapture which is moving those people up to the clouds. Also, there is ONE second coming not two. The ONE second coming has the resurrection, the rapture, then Armageddon all these will take place all on the same day.

Correct. Aaaaand.....the rapture of the Church per se is found NOWHERE in Revelation after Ch 5.
You know.....clear cut unequivocal bombastic glorious passages portraying the Church residing in heaven in a flourish of worship and praise to His majestic glory sung redoundingly by the angelic choir etc.

You would think that such an omission would raise some eyebrows lol...

***BUT WAIT.....doesn't this fit the bill.....?????***

Rev 5:8-14
Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying:

“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
And have made us kings and priests to our God;

And we shall reign on the earth.”
Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice:

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:

“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne,
And to the Lamb, forever and [g]ever!”
Then the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.
And most remarkably, please see Revelation 7:9-14.

Here is yet ANOTHER DIFFERENT group of the redeemed "of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues".
Commentary describing this group is given to John (who is now OBSERVING FROM HEAVEN Rev4:1) by an Elder (ALSO IN HEAVEN), spoken from the mezzanine as if watching the entire spectacle play out ON THE EARTH.

How do the post-tribbers come to terms with TWO GROUPS so disparate in time and description, one (the 24 Elders) CLEARLY PRECEDING THE OTHER, yet both having the common attribute of being the redeemed "of every tribe and tongue and people and nation" ???

Evidently ONLY the pre-tribbers have the right answers to this dilemma. in fact the pre-tribbers ALWAYS have all the right answers ALL THE TIME.....EVERY TIME.....:geek::D

U.S.A.
Please be reminded God has no part of denominational establishments.
So, why do you ask?

I hear a lot of these denominations being bashed about as though they are not followers of Jesus.
Was curious if they teach or preach the rapture theology!
I have never attended their services.

These verses are a warning to the believer--if we are still alive, we will be facing terrible times, but we CAN pray for a 'way of escape'--some will survive. "Watch therefore, praying at every season, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things which are about to come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."--Luke 21:36
21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. 22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

21 and 22 ... is speaking to those left from the rapture and subject to the AC dictations. Please compare your bible version to KJV 1611 edition.

In 2021 we can find and see most any position regarding the Bible in denomination/church, e.g., most baptists don't believe in baptism...some do. The Bible says...in the end times there will be great deceptions.....there is no greater deception than that which will cause one to not receive eternal salvation. Shame, shame baptists.

IMO....those not part of the Body, not the Bride....are NOT Christians.
1 cor lays out the carnal christian dynamic.

".....saved, but their works are burned"

The wayward wife
The rebellious child
The husband with a wondering eye.
The covenant Jew

All those examples are examples of covenant surpassing performance.

We are not covenant second, performance first.

We are covenant first, performance second.

Because of covenant, the Jews will be saved.....through Jesus. ( those that respond to the new convenant.)
That is why they are the wayward wife.
They are wife first, performance second.

It is covenant that is near impossible to break.

That is the carnal believers, 5 foolish virgins, left behind.
They are covenant.

Even I (a "pre-tribber") unpack this differently.

As I've mentioned in past posts about this Acts 1 passage, this was Jesus' SECOND time to ascend... the FIRST time was some "40 Days" earlier ON FIRSTFRUIT (His "Resurrection Day"; Lev23:10-12... 1Cor15:20... John 20:17 said to Mary Magdalene [only], "I ASCEND [active]"... where SHE was TOLD to "Go to my brethren and SAY UNTO them" [but no one SAW it take place])...

... His LATER ascension (Acts 1) was "VISIBLE," (when they BEHELD Him traveling [G4198] into Heaven, 1:11), which is how [/the manner in which] He will RETURN to the earth when "EVERY EYE shall SEE Him" (Rev1:7; Matt24:29-31)... His "MANIFESTATION of His presence/parousia" (2Th2:8b... distinct from 2Th2:1); The *pattern* is consistent!
Ok
But you left out the main ingredient.
Kinda wierd actually.

It actually is saying.

Jesus WILL RETURN IN LIKE MANNER.

LIKE MANNER.

Changes the ENTIRE CONTEXT.

Here is another Word of God that completely destroys any pre-trib rapture.

Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer awaits the precious fruit of the soil—how patient he is for the fall and spring rains.
You, too, be patient and strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near. Do not complain about one another, brothers, so that you will not be judged. Look, the Judge is standing at the door!

Brothers, as an example of patience in affliction, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
See how blessed we consider those who have persevered.
You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen the outcome from the Lord.
The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

James 5: 7-11
Christians are perservering right now.
...no matter what their eschatology is.

There have been about 8 threads concerning pretrib "rapture" in the las couple of months.
I still haven't seen one convincing verse to prove the theory.

I hoped this one might be a bit different because it was meant to be about how the Pretrib became popular.
Sadly, it has ended up the same as all the others. Flame wars.
This is flat out baloney.

Not according to the bible which shows the church being persecuted in the great tribulation.
No such thing after the gathering by Jesus sitting on a cloud in rev 14.

In fact, at that point, angels now preach the gospel.

No christians are to be found.

In fact, even before that, only the 144k are sealed against the flying scorpions.

No christians are sealed.

They are gone.

Friend, i never give the RedX except in very clear error from someone who should of known Better.

Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus, and arrested Him. At this, one of Jesus’ companions drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.
“Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him. “For all who draw the sword will die by the sword.
Are you not aware that I can call on My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen this way?”

When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, Matthew 25:31

Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?
For the Son of Man will come in His Father’s glory with His angels,
and then He will repay each one according to what he has done.
Matthew 16

If you make a correcting post, i will joyfully remove the Red X, as i really dislike using it - you know better or at least should.
Then most all yours deserve red exes.

Too bad you go against the word of God when challenged.

That alone should earn you tons of red exes

Pooooof ....postrib rapture is born

Well, it is different in this aspect - more has come to light then before.

The more they seek for scripture to corroborate their error, the more Scripture Itself corrects and the more Light shines for all to see.

The continuance of a man's heart will remain the same until the Day appears and the Night flees away.

The heart is deceitful above all things
and beyond cure.
Who can understand it?
I, the LORD, search the heart;
I examine the mind
to reward a man according to his way,
by what his deeds deserve.
Jeremiah 17:9-10

Dear Brother - the angels are coming with Christ - you should know this according to Scripture.
Yes

You can know for a fact, rev 14 and other verses blow a hole in your doctrine a ship could sail through

Yet you ignore Gods word.

You took yourself out through default.
