And he came at Pentecost.
So are you saying you don't believe Matthew 1:18.
  • ....she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
  • ......for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7

One might say that the Holy Ghost came before Pentecost.

Why would He the Holy Ghost contradict himself; what he had written in his word, what he has had generations pass down to generation?
"...that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live. " Deut 8:3

You know that the LORD is a God of truth. Duet 32:4

You know God is a Spirit. John 4:24

You know the Spirit of Truth

Why would He contradict what he created?
Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
Heb 3:7

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
John 5:25

There is no contradiction.

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Col 1:15-17

In case it wasn't obvious I was referring to the author of the article in the op. I shouldn't even respond to patronization at this vapid level.
Maybe try to use their imagination to explain why they flee when no man pursueth as written in Proverbs 28:1.
However, if you don't know, should you ever be tapped on the shoulder, remember Luke 4:8.

But as far as some supernatural evil entity, then you should know that it is written in Deut 4:35 "...that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him." As well as Deut 4:39, "Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.."

not everyone missed it. even the woman at the well understood, and she was a Samaritan.
John 8:48-49
48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil;

including refuting false doctrine.
for the sake of the Truth
I agree. :coffee:

I guess you don't have the ability to follow a conversation.
I don't even know how to answer this.
When I said that the Holy spirit came at Pentecost, I was responding to your quote of scripture, Jesus said "when the comforter comes" which you have to read in full context of the whole passage. Jesus was talking about he himself was leaving and he would then send the Holy Spirit. Which happened at Pentecost.
The rest of what you said is a non sequitur and illogical considering the conversation. So forgive me if I just ignore it and move on with life.

Simeon took Him in his arms and praised God, saying:
“Sovereign Lord, as You have promised,
you may now dismiss Your servant in peace.
For my eyes have seen Your Salvation,
which You have prepared in the sight of all nations:
a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and the glory of your people Israel.”
(Luke 2:28-31)
