How do you know you have faith in Jesus? This is a question that has often bothered me. I understand the Bible speaks on the importance of believing on Jesus. Does the Bible tell us how we know we believe?

In my own life I can see my faith in Christ. I’m not sure how I should respond when I have self doubt about the genuineness of my faith.
Yes but you don't doubt Christ praise God, nor do you doubt HIS faith and it is His faith IN YOU that counts.

bumpo pray for me, I got stung by bees to many to count.
I hope you feel better soon. When I was very young , I got stung by a nest of yellow jackets. I was too young to recall the pain of it now.

Yikes, that happened to me and my mate we fled into an outhouse but they hurled themselves against the window blocking out the sun.
I bowed my head and prayed the Lord's prayer and when I looked up they had all gone, every one of them except one who got tangled up in my jumper, he flew free and stung me under the chin.

I hope you feel better soon. When I was very young , I got stung by a nest of yellow jackets. I was too young to recall the pain of it now.
I found that treating the stings with honey, let it set for 5 to 10 minutes and washing it off removes the stinger. It did not do much for the pain.

I found the fastest way to wipe out the nest if you can be above it. Wet a little at night when they are dormant then pour lots of boric acid on top of the hive. Most of the bees will leave the nest. The next day hang a hose over it and turn the water on low by night fall the nest would become useless and easy to tear a part.

I had to use my knee pain killers for the pain last night to sleep.

Ouch. I learned when I was younger to throw away pants that has a hole near my private parts. I was moving the ladder, it broke open a mole run where bees had nested. You can guess where I got nailed. Think of funny home videoes tv show if you need a clue.

This is such a beautiful song. I first heard it from an amazing church choir singing it tonight.

Faith stands alone against the test of time in expectation.

For ones faith to build you first must believe that God heard your request...and has answered.
Now knowing God knows how to answer in just the right time is your test of faith.
Have you ever considered on the answer of ...no? Would you be alright with that? Are you praying out side the will of God for your life? Praying amiss.
Prayer is all about relationship. A father and a child. A servant and his master, a friend to a friend. A Holy God and a desperate sinner.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Jesus said " it's the father's great pleasure to give you the kingdom" maybe not all at once, perhaps not today, but one day you will have more than you could ever pray for.
