Who is the source of all right Knowledge? "for the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding" Proverbs 2:6 ( NIV Version ) God is the great Educator! In a real sense salvation is largely a matter of education. The world is filled with false values, so there is an obvious need to recapture biblical values. Reliable knowledge of these true values comes from only one source - God's Word, the holy Bible. God communicates His standards to us through the scriptures. Yet it must be said here that, although God's Revelation, the Holy Bible, is the foundation of al right Knowledge, it does not contain all knowledge. Other useful fields of human knowledge may be built upon that sure and sound foundation. " All deceptive knowledge- knowledge NOT built upon God's Word-will ultimately fail and disappear.

Very true.
Many though, rely on denominational teachings of the Bible.
For most of my life, because I was to a great extent illiterate, graduating HS with 3rd grade reading skills, I relied on the teaching of the church.
After teaching myself to read, I can now comprehend Gods word better.
One thing that is greatly helpful for me is to approach scripture with an open and objective mind, and not a subjective mind, a mind already influenced by church teaching.
If we are looking for evidence to validate our already held views, we can always find scripture that may seem to support our views.
But if we approach scripture with an open mind, then meditate on what we fail to understand, and pray for guidance, the comforter who will "show you all things" will become the only teacher we need.

God also communicates his word through the light of conscience.

Joh 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Through preachers of righteousness...

2Pe_2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

Through the Spirit of truth as we arfe taught by God...

1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

1Jn 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
1Jn 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
1Jn 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
1Jn 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Many err in viewing the Bible as an end in itself as opposed to it being the means to an end. The Bible is a testimony of the truth but in and of itself is just words on paper.

Joh 5:37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
Joh 5:38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Joh 5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
