Here is another one:
2 Timothy 2:16-18 [SUP]16 [/SUP]But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. [SUP]17 [/SUP]And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; [SUP]18 [/SUP]Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

You could have shortened this... you waisted a lot of time. You should have put:

How to Spot a Counterfeit Bible. Does it say King James Version on the front? If it does not, it is a counterfeit.

See? Simple...
I don't agree, acesneverwin. IMO, you are being a bit narrow minded.

...... ......So the very fact that I am in the Minority is a testimony that what I stand for is the truth.
Chosen by Him - this statement is quite prideful. We need to pray for you.

1991, I make these posts because the truth needs to be shared. And I don't know if you are aware of this 1991, but the people who take a strong stand for the truth have ALWAYS been in the MINORTY!

And that is a fact. I mean just think about it 1991, the truth has never been popular.

Are you aware that the majority of people have always rejected the truth?

Just like the fact that the majority of people are going to Hell. Why? Not because they had to, not because they were pre-destined to go there.

The majority of people are going to Hell because the majority of them hate the truth, they hate the light. And the majority of people will reject Jesus Christ. That is why.

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. - Matthew 7:13-14 (King James Bible)

Narrow is the way that leads to life and broad is the way that leads to destruction.

Narrow is the way that leads to life and broad is the way that leads to destruction.

Let me exhort you and give you some advice 1991, whatever you do, do not ever go with the majority when it comes to taking a stand for truth. The Majority has always been wrong. Study the history of mankind through the lens of the Scriptures:

The Majority of people rejected Noah's preaching and died i the flood. (Gen. 6-8)
The Majority of people perished in Sodom and Gomorrah. (Gen. 19)
The Majority of Israel worshipped Aaron's calf (Exodus 32)
The Majority of Israel rejected the Old Testament Prophets such as Elijah, Jeremiah and Isaiah.
The Majority of people rejected Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry.
And today, the Majority of people reject Jesus Christ as the Saviour of the world.

So again, NEVER go with the Majority when your going to take a stand for something.

And just because the majority of people reject an absolute truth, does not make that majority of people right. That majority of people are still wrong.

Let me give you another example though, if a person tells a lie, and a thousand people choose to believe that lie, the lie all those people chose to believe is STILL a lie.

If 100,000 people do something wrong, what they did is STILL wrong.

And if only one person out of those 100,000 tell them the truth, and if all the 99,999 reject the truth which that one man told them, well the truth that that man shared with those 99,999 is STILL the Truth.

Truth has NEVER been determined on what the masses of people think. Truth is Solid. It never changes.

So the very fact that I am in the Minority is a testimony that what I stand for is the truth.
This represents one of the worst logical errors I've seen on this site yet. Because many people in scriptures were in the minority means that anyone in the minority is right? Uh. No. You need to study up logical errors. It might help you reason things out a little better. However, I am beginning to realize that a person who is obsessed with things like the belief that the KJV translation is God's only divinely inspired translation arrived at that opinion as a result of faulty reasoning in the first place. Clearly, you're not focusing on God or His message. Clearly, you're simply focusing on having an agenda to fight over. And the word of God is not just an agenda to fight over. Never did Jesus talk about such a thing. All Jesus asked His disciples to do was to bring in the sheep. You aren't doing that with this agenda. You're simply dividing the body of Christ over pure silliness. And yet you keep on no matter what points are made, proofs are presented, etc. You're totally obsessed with the wrong thing.

ChosenbyHim,

I've looked at several threads you've started and it seems to me that you follow the teachings of various preachers rather then discern for yourself the evident truths of the word of God. I'm not saying the preachers you follow are right or wrong with the exception of my previous post; that guys a couple wagons short of a caravan. I'm saying come up with your own ideas about the bible. I would love to hear what YOU think about the word of God.

In short follow God not men because right now it seems you hold strong to the teachings of various people and that could lead you down a very broad road indeed.

God Bless SeekingJC Out
