if you want to know how to love God ,see the first 4 commandments .If you want to know how to love one another ,see the last 6 commandments. And yes im saved by grace and not by works. And if im a child of Christ i would not imagine to disobey Him.Because i love Him ,i obey Him.I nolonger need a schoolmaster because I would not think to be disobiedient. But if I do(im human )the schoolmaster is there to show me what i have done wrong.I dont think this is a very difficult thing to grasp.
that was my point , don't you people ever read the whole post?????

Good luck keeping all 613 of the Jewish laws! Since it's not possible, I don't see why one would even try. To me your wasting your time. Keeping it won't bring you closer to God any.
lol. Not every single one of the 613 mitvot apply to me. I am not a Levi, priest, male, property-owner, etc, so I need not worry about trying to keep those laws.

And I have to wonder if perhaps you have ever sinned in your life. If so I would suggest you just stop trying to be a Christian, yeah? That is basically what you are saying, right? That if I cannot be perfect I should just not even try. That is not the point of keeping the Law at all. The point is 1) it is commanded of us to keep the Law and 2) it does, in fact, bring me closer to God. The Law is not only about doing this or not doing that. It is about showing God how much you respect and honor Him by being willing to try every day to keep the Laws handed down by Him to man.

The 10 commands perhaps which can be summed up in loving the Lord with all ones heart, mind, strength and loving ones neighbor as oneself we should keep, not the food laws, etc. Read the book of Galatians. I would highly recommend it :)

Read the books of Exodus, Leviticus, and Deuteronomy. They are more than just food laws. Even if you don't think one need follow the Laws any longer, some of the Laws outlined in those books are worth following regardless. Treating a stranger as a neighbor, the moral laws, etc. Good stuff. God knew what He was doing when He outlined those laws to Moses.

I've read Galatians before, but I'll reread it and get back to you on my impression of the book in relation to this conversation. :)

36"Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?"
37And He said to him, " 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.'
38"This is the great and foremost commandment.
39"The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.'
40"On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."

- Matthew 22:36-40

I can so you where that Jesus fulfilled the law of the sabbath, for the sabbath was for rest But Jesus didn't say keep this day or that day so I can rest and you also but rather by he fulfilling the sabbath, He caould boldly say Mt 11:28Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

So with this I make Jesus my Sabbath, my way and my life and the truth, my everything. Praise the Lord for He is good and His love endures for ever . I hope this helps
i go to God and He gives
me rest.The sabbath...
H7676
שׁבּת
shabbâth
shab-bawth'
Intensive from H7673; intermission, that is, (specifically) the Sabbath: - (+ every) sabbath.
H7673
שׁבת
shâbath
shaw-bath'
A primitive root; to repose, that is, desist from exertion; used in many implied relations (causatively, figuratively or specifically): - (cause to, let, make to) cease, celebrate, cause (make) to fail, keep (sabbath), suffer to be lacking, leave, put away (down), (make to) rest, rid, still, take away. Not to be confused with a day of lazyness but a 24 hour period of spending time with God and your family.Stopping from this crazy world and putting God first. Its wonderfull you should try it sometime
