So...how do you reconcile your beliefs with this verse.
Hebrews 10:25- Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Hebrews 10:25- Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
This assembling is not of men, but of Holy men, being assembled together into a spiritual body, where Jesus is the head. No man is my head, but Jesus is. Now, if a man wants to submit to my head, then he is only part with me in this body.
No one part of the body is greater than the head, neither one part over another. Every pastor should assume his position, every deacon, every one who calls himself a Christian. His position is simply a servant together with the body. He may have a more useful role, but he should not assume to be greater than the head, nor than any other member.
I serve the head, as all the body does. But this body is not built by men on foundations of earth with walls of stones. But it is built by the Lord himself, on the foundation of Jesus Christ, whereas the saints are the lively stones of this building. Not made with hands.
May Jesus bless you.
