ML,

You may have let your feelings get hurt because I told you to look up some Scriptures on your own, but what have I said that makes you feel it is necessary to make a post like that?
Probably because in another thread, that she posted with a simple but good question, you tried your best to make yourself look smart by trying to make her looks stupid, the thread she asked a simple question you could not answer (as neither could most all of us, two posters came as close to the answer as anyone) but you not being able to answer, just tried to make her look stupid and I called you out on it in many posts.

I think she was expecting a repeat out of you. (does that jog your memory?)

About what I expected. Now, how about you telling me what your idea of "Gospel" is? You just said you believe in it.... but just WHAT do you think "it" is?
She doesn't owe you an apology, you owe her one, you tried with your ignorance to ruin another thread she started that was what seemed a simple question that most of us had no answer for including you, but rather that saying you don't know (or better, say nothing at all) you belittled her (remember me calling you out on it in the 10 or 20 posts?) after that I would not call you a christian either, like I said before, if you don't know the answer, clam up and let those that wish (with the help of God) find the truth...

She owes you no apology (even though she gave you one), so accept it and sit back and watch, she kindly asked you to not participate in her threads (I don't blame her)

Wait till she decides that you are not a Christian, and posts it about you.... then come ask that question again.

And, her attack came simply from me suggesting she should check her glasses because she told another poster he was an Obama lover.

And if I felt it was a lady that was asking, then my response might be different.
How ironic. That poster she misjudged as an Obama lover was me. I just responded with a correction and went on my merry way. People make mistakes no big deal.

Sorry, I misunderstood your post, my mistake.

Praying for us to return to a Christian nation! And that to show that marriage is between both a man and a woman! Only in eyes and laws of God.

This is what I put as my Facebook status in response to the gay marriage 'victory'. It's so sad that some of my Christian friends have no problem supporting it. Shooting yourself in the foot. Yeah, that's a good idea.

And God said, “...I have placed My bow in the clouds, and it will be a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. Whenever I form clouds over the earth and the bow appears in the clouds, I will remember My covenant between Me and you and all the living creatures: water will never again become a flood to destroy every creature."

I pray God will spare America from His judgment, though, by our actions as a nation, we give Him less and less reason to do so.
A word from the Lord.

Jeremiah 7:16 Therefore pray not thou for this people,
neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me:
for I will not hear thee.

Jeremiah 11:14 Therefore pray not thou for this people,
neither lift up a cry or prayer for them:
for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

Jeremiah 14:11 Then said the LORD unto me,
Pray not for this people for their good.

Ang...the reason I love this because
My feelings are simple
Why should we christians battle one another over this.
we can kahoot all day...but we can not STOP the governments allowing this.
I suppose I mean I just follow Gods rules with me and my loved ones
Am I wrong to say...let the sinners fall apart outside of my life
It has nothing to do with me.
Long as God is pleased with me
Why stress myself into a nosebleed..and ruin my day over gay marriage. It cant be stopped by christians. We dont have to like it...but gay people are not trying to marry me. You know what Im saying. Please disagree with me good folks if u like. Im sweet...I dont mind at all.
Im just saying it saddens me
Gay marriage is upsetting many friends here I love today.
we cant stop it...why let it distress your day.
we please God
Let them be responsible for their souls.

Forgibe me...is anyone mad at my opinion
I apologize if you are
Im only honest how I feel
Agreeable or not
When Canada became an "open-marriage" country, a homosexual couple went to a Justice of the Peace to be married. He kindly said, "I'm sorry. I cannot, but here's a card of someone I know who will."

The couple already had the marriage and reception prepared, so they had it. And when they were done, they sued that Justice of the Peace. And then they appealed -- five times so far.

This isn't just about it being legal. They want total acceptance at all cost. And that "at all cost" means exactly that. They will get themselves accepted in they have to legally shut up 97% of a nation to do it. That's the goal. That's why this is much more than just "yeah, but churches are exempted." That's why it affects all of us, if we want to see that or not!

I doubt the true agenda could be explained any more clearly.

You seem just as thick as you were 100 post ago. I gave her a clear answer... it was just not the one she had decided she had to hear.

I can't look at kagan without my stomach contents churning in misery.

And that corpse next to her. What's up with that?

i had to chuckle a bit about all the kerfuffle regarding this decision. :)

maybe it's the cynic in me, but did anyone really expect anything different to happen?

SCOTUS was bound to hand down this ruling, and as close to 4 July as they could...
they probably all have next week off or it would have been a bit later.

what it means for the future, i can't say.
but the One Who ordains the future can and does know.
i'll try to trust Him. :)
The Supremes, (I like that moniker better than SCOTUS), convene the first Monday in October, after checking out all the cases that landed in their laps, and choosing to dismiss a bunch. (Exactly why they won't hear issues about schools won't let kids mention anything about Christianity. The First Amendment can't be clearer. The kids can speak of their beliefs in school.) Then they go from the smallest to the biggest until their in-basket is empty. Then they get the time off between empty basket and that next October, (not counting the time spent figuring out which cases get dumped and which have to be decided.) This is pretty much why all the sensational cases are decided in summer.

I am always surprised when they go against The Constitution. I honestly didn't know which way Obamacare would land. I tended toward thinking it wasn't Constitutional only in that it was forcing the States to pay for a Federal Law. But this one? You can't even pull a private letter from Jefferson out of your bottom to prove this could have even remotely, some way, some what, sorta, if you look at it just right, upside down with your head tilted toward the sun, could you make this anything at all to do with The Constitution or the intent of the Constitution. This is as stupid a decision as Roe V Wade, and darn if we aren't going to suffer for it as much as Roe V Wade.

(And darn if I can't shut up about politics, which is why I promised I wouldn't come back here, and yet, here I am. Arrrgggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!)

And giving back my nerves. Thank you.

(Nerves -- what you seemed to be plucking of mine, until "I was down to my last nerve.") So, thank you for restoring my "rethink." :D

America lost two battles yesterday. The one we're talking about here, and we just left democracy behind. We're no longer allowed to vote on decisions, even if we do vote on them. Proposition 8 in California was for gay marriages and was voted down. That was sued up to the Supreme Court, and, apparently, Californians had no right to vote on that decision. Nine unelected Judges took "legislation" away from the people again. There is no more battle between if the US is a republic or a democracy. We are a dictatorship.

Remember that line from Star Wars? "So this is how liberty ends... with thunderous applause." Very prophetic. There was dancing in the streets last night. America died. The anarchists have won.

Let's see what's different today.

Men can still marry women? Check

Men can't marry their sisters? Check

People still can't marry animals? Check

Pedophilia still illegal? Check

What other people decide to do has no bearing on my life? Check

I was expecting some major cataclysmic legal change judging by what some of you guys have been saying. Nothing has really changed.

Nothing to see here folks. Move along.

You are sounding wiser with every passing day, Allan.
