The times we live in, require that we hear the heart of God.
God has given me an amazing word for us all.
It's timeless, yet addresses times such as these.

But I have to admit.
This word hasn't just come to me.
It has come to all willing to take it in.

It's unlike the words so many claim to be hearing today. You know, those claiming to have fresh "revelations" in their ears/heart/spirit/mind/soul.

The question is...

Are you willing to take it in?

Will you get bored with it and consider it "dead" or "lifeless", simply because it has existed for centuries, and doesn't look all "fresh" and "new", like the claims of those who spout off about the mutterings they claim are being revealed to them now days?

If you haven't guessed by now, the word from God I have for you, is the Bible.

I'm sorry it's not jazzed up. I'm sorry I can't claim I have a new and fresh revelation like so many claim today.

I'm sorry it doesn't come off as flashy, due to me claiming to hear it after fasting for 40 days in seclusion, waiting on a new and fresh revelation from God for "our times".

Nope. This Bible has been here for centuries.

It's God's word to me, you, us.

Are you willing to take it in?

Do you view it as enough?

Some closing questions...

Were you disappointed that the revelation given in this thread, was simply a reminder to read the Bible?

Were you hoping for some kind of "other word" or "revelation"?

If so, does that concern you?

Should it concern you that you didn't view the revelation of God as given in the Bible, as all you need?

Should it concern you that you were looking for something more....for more revelation than God has already given us?

"We pray for wisdom. Your voice to hear.
We cry in anger when we can not feel You near.
We doubt Your goodness. We doubt Your love.
As if every promise from Your Word is not enough."

God gave them manna. Some responded:
Numbers 11:5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:
6 But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, besides this manna, before our eyes.

Numbers 11:13
13 Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat

Lords responce:

Numbers 11:18-20
18 And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the Lord, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the Lord will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.

19 Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;

20 But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised the Lord which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?

Later on:
Numbers 11:32 And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.

33 And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the Lord was kindled against the people, and the Lord smote the people with a very great plague.

34 And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted

Today:
John 6:45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

48 I am that bread of life.

49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world

58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Jesus example: the three responses to satan.Matthew 4 It is written..and He quotes scripture.

First response:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

There’s no reason I can think of not to read the Bible, cover to cover, unless we are blind. It's not that long a book.

I honestly already knew you were talking about the Bible before I even clicked on the thread. You know how? It was "revealed" to me lol

Now gather round children and I will tell you more....
