I would like some perspectives on Revelation.

Let me see if I can rephrase this :)

Mr Card, is saying that, my salvation has nothing to do with what I say and do in the world. ... Is he not? ... My salvation most assuredly depends on what I say and do in the world ... how I Love.

Mr. Card said, " it's not how much you love" ... Jesus says "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

It's ALL about Love .. He loved us first, so that we would, hopeful Love Him back, We won't be God's children and heirs with Christ, if we don't Love Jesus, the Way, he Loves the Father... Making us fit to be citizens of the heavenly city, the New Jerusalem.

John 8:28-29, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of myself, but as my Father taught me, I speak these things. And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him."

Jesus expressed His Love for the Father, by doing the Father's Will.. Which is God's Commandment's, the Law of Liberty and Love. Love God with all your heart, mind and soul and your neighbor as yourself. Jesus expressed His love for His neighbors, by dying for us, being the Lamb of God, the Atonement. ""Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." John 15:13
God has accepted Christ's offering as a full atonement for the sins of the world.

We now have the choice to accept Christ's atonement, accept Christ's righteousness and to live a life transformed by His principles,... OR NOT ... it's up to each one of us, whether we choose to love Christ, or not ... whether we want to be a child of God, or not. It's pretty simple ... I want to LIVE, so I believe and follow Christ. John 3:16
You're proposing works based salvation. It doesn't work that way.

The Book of Revelation is first and foremost a format laid out into sections of events going to happen.

It begins with Jesus showing the Apostle John the current problems with the Asia Minor Churches set up by the Apostle Paul. Then it serves as a reminder to how many of the Last Days End Times Churches will be struggling with. And it also serves as a spiritual timeline.

Then we are given insight to the Heavenly Throne Room on several occasions as prophecy plays out including the final Judgement.

We also see the dispensation of events that we are able to match to the warnings given by Jesus when He was on earth concerning the Tribulation. But in Revelation we're allowed to see more specifics to the system and Beast first introduced in the Book of Daniel.

We also have a complete timeline of the fall of Satan, the prophetic dreams of Joseph, and the war waged to stop the fulfillment of when Christ came as the Messiah. And we see portions of Tribulation and the Great Whore of Babylon.

We're also given the format of the Jews coming to Yeshua, the insight to the beheaded, and war upon the Saints. This is interweaved with the Vials and Trumpets of Wrath.

Ultimately, we see God's Victory and Glory and His Reign as King of kings and Lord of lords.

We also have a stark reminder about the fate of those who opposed God and for those who are God's Own.

There's much to gain and glean from the Book of Revelation.

Keep working. It'll never be enough.
Wanna bet? A door into heaven will be opened wide for those striving to enter by the narrow gate

And for this same thing, employing all speed provide excellence in your faith, knowledge in excellence, self-control in knowledge, endurance in self-control, godliness in endurance, brotherly affection in godliness, and love in brotherly affection. For these things belonging and increasing to you, make you stand not idle or unfruitful into the full knowledge of our master, Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:5-8
Through this rather, brothers, use speed to be making your calling and selection confirmed. For doing these things, by no means will you ever stumble. For thus the entrance into the unending kingdom of our lord and savior, Jesus Christ, will be richly supplied to you. 2 Peter 1:10-11
