Yeah, I don't see it that way, otherwise Jesus was corrupt in His Human Nature. That isn't possible. The Human Nature is that of a servant, of which Jesus called Himself.
look

Matthew 26:38

New International Version

38 Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”

So, we are free to pick the translation that we like best and very theory based on any translation is correct?
I find them all to be saying essentially the same things in terms of the core themes of the Bible. Except for "The Message" translation, they all properly convey the:

1) Power of God
2) The Purpose of Christ
3) The Work of Christ
4) The Effect of Christ

I use and quote all translations available to me except The Message, which I nearly threw away last week. Not sure why I didn't. lol

She could have been 18 years old. Whatever what was considered full grown.
The custom for marriage was around 14. The Tanakh tells us in Isaiah the Messiah's mother would be:
יד לָכֵן יִתֵּן אֲדֹנָי הוּא, לָכֶם--אוֹת: הִנֵּה הָעַלְמָה, הָרָה וְיֹלֶדֶת בֵּן, וְקָרָאת שְׁמוֹ, עִמָּנוּ אֵל.14
Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: behold, the young woman shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Age 14 is a Young Woman.

I am just truly sorry we cannot somehow continue to talk about Jesus and His gospel and must always go back to quibbling about things that have no bearing on the gospel. Oh sure we can illustrate, compare and even disagree.

I would say 'the time is short' but that is cliche these days and I really do not know what time it is other than the time to believe NOW
I couldn't agree more!

Oh.....right!

I was just pointing out the Human Nature is not the Sinful Nature, otherwise, Jesus, who had a Human Nature, would have been corrupt. That said, I get the feeling that you don't believe in a Sinful Nature.

Sorry . . . I did associate Jesus to corruption, but I don't believe that He is. No. :)
