Right. That "flesh" is not human flesh, but the Sinful, Carnal state of a human.

Romans 8:12 NLT - "Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do."

This is why Jesus performs His Circumcision of heart. Have you experience that unbelievable event yet? You'll know it when you have.
So have you been the recipient of some flesh that the rest of us do not have? Are you translated?

Mockery does not suit an actual believer in the Lord. Maybe put off your flesh

fits right in with your general narrative in that case
It is unfortunate that you have come here not to encourage, but to destroy and cause problems. Are you choosing this on your own free will, which would be horrific, or are you being guided by another force within you, the force that Paul spoke about in Romans 7?

your one constant I would say

you assume anyone unlike you is persuaded by something other than the Holy Spirit
Nikki. Much of what you're writing doesn't make sense. I wish you well.

Proverb1 says, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction."

And ten verse later it says, "How futile is it to spread a net where any bird can see it?"

And subsequently, wisdom calls aloud, saying, "If you had repented at my rebuke, then surely I would have poured out my spirit on you; I would have made my words known to you."

God said, "man has become like us knowing good and evil" with a negative connotation that this is not good so, then it can't mean that men can discern good and evil very well without God's counsel, but this is what they did when they each reach out and "took" the fruit as if it were something good. This is how man 'became' like God, even if the reality was only in the assumption, man reckoned, for whatever reason, that they possessed righteous discernment and found themselves in the wrong, having not trusted God for perpetual life.

And it took Jesus to show them right judgment, in trusting God, without restriction, for all His concerns pertaining to life, even to the point of death, demonstrating faith in God's trustworthiness in regard to His word.

Jesus asked His Father to forgive even those who crucified Him and while you cannot do that to me, your words do not come from God who is good. Again I can only stress the nastiness of many Calvinists who attack the person rather than defend what they think they believe.

So I forgive your personal and unwarranted attack here and I pray you will stop doing this to people here in the forum .

If this is the way you defend your beliefs, I would imagine most people would not care to join you

It's highly probable not many cottoned onto the fictional, tongue-in-cheek nature of your OP...
Actually, we all understood. We also understood the negative connotations against all who do not profess as does the op

It's not actually funny. Just another thread offering the endless debate that seems to be a sad favorite of this forum

It would be wonderful to actually discuss Jesus and attempts by some have been made in that direction, but it seems even a thread like that is invaded by some thinking people have no will of their own and we are forced to believe certain things

Sure, the Human Nature is combined with the Divine Nature, but only after the Sinful Nature has been removed. That which is Divine cannot be corrupt.
so tell me how this represents free will.

Because your answer was everything.

What answer is this.

It's interesting how you judge my heart. You're aware that this is not allowed by Christ, right? You are expected to judge my words and my actions, but not my heart.

What you don't understand is that I am not entirely defending myself. Instead, I am here to learn if I might be wrong. That is why I have chosen to come here and talk to people like yourself. I'm not 100% certain of this belief, thus it would be impossible for me to hold a dogmatic approach. If you go back to the opening comments, you'll see that I was laughing with those who were laughing at me. I'm not upset at all. In fact, I am extremely happy person. Would you like to be friends?

The Human Nature serves whatever additional Nature is associated with the subject. Therefore, the Human Nature will serve either the Sinful Nature or Divine Nature, but if that Sinful Nature has been cut away by the Circumcision of Christ, it is then replaced with the Divine Nature. Both the Divine and Sinful Natures are the dominant Spiritual Natures, while the Human Nature is subservient. There is no in-between. Humans do not serve themselves . . . ever. Therefore, since this is clearly what the Bible reports, no one is ever under full control of themselves. We either have the mind of the Devil, or the Mind of Christ.

It's your post. Surprise me.
No thank you. I'm burnt out on people griping about translation usage, so it's just easier to let people control the situation by determining translations. I have no interest in the whole rabbit hole translation garbage. It's a waste of time dealing with that mindset.

Post 144 is what you apparently actually think or would like others to think.

I am not someone who pretends. The heart is God's territory, not mine. You seem to think it is your territory though to write what you did. It is not funny in the least
