Hello. I am not Christian, but I am wanting to learn and understand. I have some disabilities, please can you use simple words for me.
I was told to ask my questions here.
If someone hits their head and cannot control their hands sometimes... Does it mean they are bad and the devil is inside them?
Thank you.

The number of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) has been rising steadily, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now estimate that ASD affects about 1 in 110 children in the U.S. 40 percent of these children have intellectual disabilities, and all suffer from impairments in social interactions. Some also have problems with communication and behavior.
The cause of this rise in autism, which many studies have shown cannot be explained by changes in diagnosis methods, is still unknown. Although a few percent of ASD cases can be traced to inherited genes, our genes don't change dramatically over the span of just a few decades.
One thing that has changed dramatically over the last several decades is human exposure to toxic chemicals and metals in the environment. Many of these chemicals and metals are known to affect the developing fetal brain. These include lead, methylmercury, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), arsenic, cadmium, and manganese. The EPA has research that shows infants with prenatal exposure to mercury correlated to lower scores in neurodevelopmental screening but more so in the linguistic pathway. A study by U.S CDC foundstatistically significant associations with thimerosal-vaccines (mercury preservative) by the age of six-months and a federal study using vaccine study bases confirmed that autism, speaking disorders, and heart arrestshave increased significantly with the increase of thimerosal- containing vaccines. Animals and infants that were predisposed to mercury prenatally were predisposed to epilepsy and seizures. http://www.examiner.com/article/dental-amalgams-largest-source-of-mercury-causing-autism-add-dyslexia
This week, the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) called on “Physicians to educate their patients, the medical community, and the public to avoid GM (genetically modified) foods when possible and provide educational materials concerning GM foods and health risks.” They called for a moratorium on GM foods, long-term independent studies, and labeling. AAEM’s position paper stated, “Several animal studies indicate serious health risks associated with GM food,” including infertility, immune problems, accelerated aging, insulin regulation, and changes in major organs and the gastrointestinal system. They conclude, “There is more than a casual association between GM foods and adverse health effects. There is causation,” as defined by recognized scientific criteria. “The strength of association and consistency between GM foods and disease is confirmed in several animal studies.” The Truth Is Out on Genetically Modified Foods - And It's Not Pretty
And this is what someone else posted on another thread.
Now a new study has found that altering the androgens of a fetus during early pregnancy -- this time by by-products of PVC (the plastic pipes found in most home plumbing) -- can not only alter the gender of the brain but can change the formation of the genitals in the newborn.

Exposure to mercury pollution could be hitting some wild birds' reproductive prospects hard by causing males to pair with other males.
American white ibises (Eudocimus albus) from south Florida that consumed methylmercury (MeHg), the most toxic and easily absorbed form of mercury found in the environment, were more likely to engage in same-sex pairings — a phenomenon unknown in wild populations of this species with no exposure to the pollutant.
