In the time of OT, like with Saul the Holy Spirit did not always strive with man.. David, plead, Do not cast me away from Your presence,And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. But in today's NW testament times does the Spirit LEAVE US ?. Does the LORD leave us forever even though He said He will NEVER leave us?
Does departing from the Faith MEAN that the Spirit will leave us?

Jesus will never leave us, but we can be punished for sin. Paul said that many people are sick, due to disobedience. And Jesus wants us to be healthy and prosperous. It appears sin can cause The Holy Spirit to withdraw from us, but Jesus will never leave us.

We had left Him, but there's a part of Him that is still with us.

This is a good news/bad news question; so lets get the bad news outta the way first.

The Holy Spirit/Wisdom has left the planet, just in case you didn't notice; and though this may seem a bit scarey, that is not so.

The Good News; because that the younger IS stronger in Our Fathers Plan, and that His Wisdom has been guiding His children of commen-sense since the beginning, Their Faith in which they received as a gift, in which we on the other hand of this generation grow day by day in to attain and surpass, IF one is sincere, that we know that She was here to Comfort the Minds/Hearts of the children of first 7 major attempted world take-overs, that didn't happen.

The first 5 explained in impeccable detail in Our Father's Word, and the last 2, WW1 & WW2 only touched upon, or else that would wreck Our Father's Plan of scattering us until we would have NO remembernce of who we truly are, Israelites.

The reason that The Holy Spirit has left is simply this; though the first 7 major attempted world takeovers didn't happen, and ALL reports that came back from them was in reality, from those on the field was, that war is nothing short of hell on earth.

Currently, though WW3 is rising, and would carry on just like the rest, this is NOT the case according to Our Father's Word.

He says, that with commen-sense one can see for themselves, that if it were to carry on to its full extent, that there would be nothing left to save, as we would blow ourselves up lol

But Our Father stated that He was going to do this First and He does not lie.

Of course nothing to be concerned with IF one has the understanding of the book of Daniel.

At the end, the best and strongest of both the liars and the witnesses of the truth come forward, for us children of the truth to stand against; It only takes plain OLD commen-sense to stand, and we don't need no Wisdom as Our Father LOVE, has Everything under control. Trust in Him, Love, and one cannot go wrong.

We were NOT deceived before the Over Throw, we will NOT be deceived at the Restoration.

If we take into account that God is all purely good, and we know that good and evil cannot be in the same place and God despises all that is evil then I believe that the Holy Spirit does "temporarily leave" or step aside when we commit sin or do what is evil in the eyes of the Lord. Now my evidence from this is in scripture when Jesus asks Abba why he has forsaken him. When Jesus took upon himself the sins of mankind God had to forsake him he was considered "sinful" and since God cannot inhabit one who lives in sin or is in sin He left the presence of Jesus hence why he asked where he was. Imagine though someone who had lived with God's presence in his life the whole time, and all of a sudden that part of you is gone. Must have been heart wrenching and quite the agony.

This is why we are made new and justified through Christ. This is why we cannot get through to the Father if not through Christ. Because through him we are justified and washed of our sins :)

Hope this makes sense

Sorry this isn't the fiction section of the forums. What a load of rubbish. The Holy Spirit lives in and is present in the lives of Christians.

The Holy Spirit will never leave however when you walk away from the Lord the Holy spirit is not able to be active until you return back to the Lord.. its kind of like dough.. in order to rise you need active yeast..but that yeast in order to be active needs warm water!!! without that water the yeast is useless and will not let the dough rise!! This is why it is important not to put yourself in a position were the Lord can not be active.. like for another exp.. if you know the Lord is telling you not to go to a certain place and you go there anyway.. the Holy spirit can not be active at that time because you put yourself in that position. Does not mean he wont protect you though if you ask him too :) hope that helped and was not to difficult to understand!

Let's see what the scripture says...

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter [Holy Spirit], that he may abide with you for ever;

Heb 12:10-11 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

If the Holy Spirit departs He wouldn't reprimand and sanctify the Christian, now would He? However, disobedience grieves and quenches the Holy Spirit which leads to reprimanding so that the individual might yield to Him and produce the fruit of the Spirit.

Paul writes in Hebrews that it is a matter of attitude...

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
Heb 10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

A deliberate, premeditated choice to live the way of sin versus the way of obedience to God. John shows us that stumbling, making mistakes, downright sinning even is forgiven when the overall attitude is one of wanting to obey...

1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1Jn 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1Jn 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1Jn 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Tie this in to...

1Jn 5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
1Jn 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

And we understand that it is a matter of heart. Paul spoke of sinning when he desparately wanted to obey...

Rom 7:13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
Rom 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Rom 7:15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
Rom 7:16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
Rom 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
Rom 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
Rom 7:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Oh c'mon, that's a stretch. Jesus' cry to the Father isn't an indication that the Divine Spirit left Him rather He was simply expressing His human feelings at that moment of immense anguish. Besides in the beginning of Jesus' earthly ministry He was filled with the Holy Spirit (Luke 4:1,18) and the same Spirit raised Him from the dead so how could the Spirit have departed?

I agree, that part of us does live inside us, that conscious awareness, that part of the Kingdom that we have now, but one shouldn't think so highly of themselves to beleive that ALL people dont have one.

It is Our Father's Wisdom that comforted and guided these people through all the hells they went through, thing is, is WW3 not going to come to completion this time, as it is written, but rest assured, its going to reach its maximum pressure, before Our Father stops it in its tracks.

That's how we win in the end, by plain old commen sense, walk away and trust in Him.

No this is not science fiction, as that is of man; this is the science reality of Our Father

appreciate your kind comments lol

Does departing from the Faith MEAN that the Spirit will leave us?
Yes, departing from THE Faith (denying the lord) will cause the holy spirit to leave us (forever). That is to be distinguished from having little faith, or sinning by having no faith in some instance, for which there is forgiveness. The spirit stays with us even when we are not exercising faith, because GOD is faithful.

If we suffer, we shall also reign with [him]: if we deny [him], he also will deny us: If we believe not, [yet] he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. 2 Timothy 2:12-13

Eph 1: 13 - 14 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Eph 4:30 Do not grieve the Holy Spirit, By whom you WERE SEALED until the DAY OF REDEMPTION

2 cor 1:22 He (God) Who has sealed us and has GIVEN us the SPIRIT in our hearts as a gaurantee.

The day of redemption is also called the resurrection day, The day we recieve our glorified bodies. They day sin can no longer enter our lives.

Scripture is clear. the seal of the HS, which is our guarantee of eternal life. Is from the moment we have faith in the gospel after we heard the word of truth, Until the day of ressurection, or the day our redemption is complete. Thus....

the answer is NO!

In the OT, The HS was not given as a seal or permanence because the work of Christ had not yet been fulfilled.
