Amen!

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. -Acts 20:28

And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. (Joel 2:32)

"...if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord (Jesus) will be saved."" (Romans 10:9, 13)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But the LORD of hosts, him you shall honor as holy. Let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. And he will become a sanctuary and a stone of offense and a rock of stumbling to both houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And many shall stumble on it. They shall fall and be broken; they shall be snared and taken. (Isaiah 8:13-15)

"...as it is written, “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”" (Romans 9:33)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can anyone tell me that Christ is not deity now?

Amen! Some day I might post a thread which offers a unique perspective on this issue; proving the premise by what Jesus said and did, rather than what was said about Him.

Amen. Jesus is God in the flesh. The Alpha and Omega the beginning and the ending the first and the last. The one who was and who is and who is to come. The Almighty.

Amen.

John 12:37-41
37 But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him,
38 that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke:
“ Lord, who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?”
[1]
39 Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again:
40 “ He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts,
Lest they should see with their eyes,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.
” [2]
41 These things Isaiah said when he saw His glory and spoke of Him

[1] Isaiah 53:1
[2] Isaiah 6:10

Isaiah 6:1-3
1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.
2 Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.
3 And one cried to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!”

In John 12:37-41, the only "Him" in the context is Jesus. John quotes from Isaiah 53 and then Isaiah 6 and speaks of the glory being seen. The glory which Isaiah saw was Jesus' glory aka the LORD.

Amen, amen and amen!

Jesus IS God

"And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south." Zechariah 9:14 (KJV)

"For the Lord(Jesus, see verse 1) himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1 Thessalonians 4:16

In the OT, GOD/YHWH/IAM, appears overhead and blows the Trumpet.

In the NT, JESUS, appears overhead and blows the Trumpet.

Only ONE Trumpet. Only ONE LORD. Only ONE GOD.
I believe

NOT BE ASHAMED
Dear Timothy10, I also believe

this. Christ is God. He is also a

man, a real man, not a myth or a

ghost. He is the Messiah, the

God-man, One Person in two

natures, Divine and human. He is

true God and true man.

God bless you. In Erie PA June

Isaiah 42:8 "I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images."
God doesn't lie. He didn't give his Glory to another. Jesus is God.

Revelation 22:9 "Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God."

Matthew 28:8 "And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me."

Exodus 3:14 "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you."

John 18:4-6 "Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?
They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.
As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground."

John 8:58-59 "Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by."
