I'd change the titles of the Old Testament and New Testament to Old Covenant and New Covenant, respectively.

I'm asking a hypothetical question for the purpose of disussion. You could say I'm the type of user that likes to stir the pot for the sake of debate, but to me that's healthy. Here's an example. Most JW believe that only 144k people are going to heaven. I disagree, but I wouldn't straight out attack him for that, and might even ask where in the bible he got that number from. Remember, this is a forum where opposing viewpoints are allowed and encouraged. The intelligent people here have responded with scripture that specifically tells us changing the bible is forbidden or debated it in kind if God allowed it, which parts would they like added in or taken out? I can easily tell some others here are like that kid who used to get shoved into the locker at school. So passive-aggressive and insecure. "Here come the boots again. Should they be hip or knee high ha ha ha".
TB, on one hand its great that you're focusing on God's Word and eager to discuss His Word with others, but the problem is your hypothetical question is not edifying. Perhaps a better way to bring up certain topics is to say, "I struggle with ... or I'm interested in ..." and people will be happy to engage in discussion that is both edifying and interesting.

And I say to you with a gentle heart and great respect, that if you like to stir the pot, you will be sorely humbled because people here are much older, wiser and better at stirring the pot than you being that you're only 23 years of age.

Why do you guys entertain this ?

I had a dream...although I might have been awake...where folks stopped feeding the beast

and I thought it was funny to learn that hundreds of years ago learned religious folk argued over how many angels could dance on the head of a pin

What Bible tell us about this kind of revelation? KJV.Revelation22;18-19 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book.If any shall add unto these things.God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book; And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy.God shall take away his part out of the Book of Life, out of the Holy City, and from the thing which are written in this book. After read this verses you understand where this revelation coming from.

I had a dream last night in which an angel appeared and told me "They are confused. Use your prose to unite them." When I awoke I thought deeply about this and realized what he's saying. There exists so much confusion today on the meaning of the bible (Catholic, Mormon, Jehavohs Witness, Seven Day Adventists, etc.. all interpret the scriptures differently). I would probably make changes to a few verses so it would be more clear, my first choice...
The Lord is speaking to Abraham in this story where God commands him to sacrifice his son:
‘Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt-offering on one of the mountains that I shall show you.’ (Genesis 22:2)
This reminds me of the final scene in the Omen (1976) where the father stabs his son on the alter. Even if God intervens at the last minute, don't you think that child is going to be scarred emotionally for the rest of his life? I know if my dad tried to kill me and then stopped at the last minute tellng me God changed his mind I'd run far away in case it ever happens again.
Second choice...
In this verse, Samuel, one of the early leaders of Israel, orders genocide against a neighbouring people:
“This is what the Lord Almighty says... ‘Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’” (1 Samuel 15:3)
This goes back to my early questions about why women and children had to die in Daniel 16:24. Why kill all the innocents too? I would make it clear in the rewriting that slavery is wrong, killing gay people is wrong, and adjust other things so that they can't be taken out of context. Any book that has been transcribed over and over through 2000 years something may get lost (even the meanings of word has changed since then) so I believe the angel had a good point.
If you could pick just one or two scriptures (old or new testement) in the bible and change it, which would you choose?
The scriptures are the Word of God in print, it is not the Word of God that needs changed, it is me. I need changed.

I would fix the twisted scriptures that the King James translators intentionally screwed up for nefarious reasons.

The first would be the mistranslation of Hebrews 13:17. Obey them that have the rule over you. And submit yourselves.

The Greek: submit to the teachings of them that guide you. Yield yourselves to their persuasive teachings.

This changes the whole dynamic of the biblical assembly of believers.

Here's another...

1Jn 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

And it should read...

1Jn 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

ZERO, NONE, NEVER, WOULD NOT EVEN CONSIDER
Why would anyone want to change what is perfect and Holy?
Not only is your question foolish, it is dangerous.
I don't know what you ate last night, but I would avoid it in the furture.

I would suggest to the OP that you read the new versions of the Bible. All new versions of the Bible have added to and taken away from the word of God. No need for you to change it, it's already been done for you.:)
Oh, hey. The KJV-Onlyists have finally arrived. Let's get this party shut down! :p

You r mistaken.
the Father: gr: pater: father

the word: gr: logos: the word.

holy: gr: hagios: moral, holy.

ghost: gr: pneuma: spirit
