My daughter was drop dead beautiful. There were problems with that. When she was dating age, often her dates took her looks out but wouldn't speak to her. Her boss talked her into photography modeling and what a bore it was. You sit most of the day being told to smile, turn this way, no that way! She had to convince employers that she had a brain behind those looks.

She once got quite sick. Her doctor told her she had the most beautiful face and body, but her exrays showed him some very ugly organs inside.

The beauty the Lord sees is real honest beauty with no downsides. Christ can wipe away all the ugliness so only the beauty is left.

I made my mother glycerine soap (wow had to google that spelling,I was way off) I added the coloring and gave it to her for Valentines day it lasted a few weeks then melted. I was so disappointed. It was pretty slimy. lol I guess it was the thought that counted.I was young and didn't have money to buy her anything. She just kept right on using it. Got to love moms.
