Hi chasten

I understand what your problem is, but I also understand its source. So why don't we start there. It seems you forgot a few things... or never learned them. That's cool. Which is why one must try and aid one another. O..k.

The first thing ... just as a friendly note... the sms language really makes it hard to read your language. Not everyone is fluent, and I must admit I struggled here and there. I get you are upset, but then it is even more important to write in a clear language so that people can ultimately understand you. This is not serious though.... just a friendly thought.

Secondly. You forgot your place in the relationship. As I said, maybe you were never taught this, but you are a servant and he is above the rank of a King. Imagine you walk in the army first day and then you start talking like this to an admiral. You'll be doing dishes and fitness for the next couple of months. So the second thing you need to do is to humble yourself. For God rejects the arrogant but lifts up the humble. So one of your problems is just this. Get your mind into that of servanthood and being a child of God, rather than trying to boss Him around. God must withdraw if you do this. The beginning of knowledge lies in the fear of the Lord. Not in trying to tell God what you want and he must deliver.

Thirdly just as a matter of respect. You spell God with a small letter as if you are not worshipping the God that created the entire Universe, yet at the same paragraph you spell satan with a capital as if you are giving it glory. Get your priorities straight. If you want to move closer to God, obey the ten commandments or in the least try to.

You speak of God as if He owes you something. He physically designed you. He made every peace of your being, your hair, face and not only did He do that be He also gave you an opportunity to life in abundance by worshipping Him. Get this straight. God doesn't owe you anything. In actual fact I don't anyone on earth can make that claim. Are you really so used to having things you're way that you do not understand the way that God works. It is not about you. It is about Love. It is about everyone around you. About you giving your utmost for them in humbleness and peace and joy, especially when everything goes bad for you. To believe in God is not so you can have what you want or so that you can have joy. But so that you can be an instrument or tool in His hand so you can spread His love to others, regardless of your feelings. Your feelings must be submitted underneath the Will of God. Only then can you see truth and understand truth. Only then can you be free of the enslavement of the desires which the devil let's put upon this world.

You are just like me still very young. Life has not yet touched us in full. But understand that arrogance and hate and unforgiveness will destroy you. Anger is not the fruit of God. Which means that something let to your anger which was not of God.

Don't think that you will gain anything but to feel a tiny bit better about yourself for a few minutes by acting out on God. Not that He can't handle it. But you would not gain anything. What you receive is by His grace and His grace alone. Some of us will sow others will reap. The reaper is not more or less important than the sower. Each one has his task and will be measured according to his own works by God. Nothing you think, do or say is out of measurement. Your salvation came by Christ. But that does not mean that you can act out of arrogance. We all fail sometimes. But careful that you do not accept it as that you have a right. By giving your life to God, you gave up your rights to God. The right that you have according to scripture is to be called a child of God. That is it. Everything else therefore you must do in obedience and humbleness and inside the grace of God.

Last thing. Let your yes be yes and your no be no. Don't make promises. Keep yourself in humbleness and plead for His mercy daily. And learn to adhere and hear His voice fully and do what He asks you in full obedience. And if you have questions. Please feel free to ask. But understand that there is a protocol by which God works. And if you do not wish to follow it. Then think of it in the following way. Even today you cannot just walk into the President of the US office and talk to him as if he is junk. If you don't get shot, you will probably get thrown in jail. You first need to make an appointment and then if he accepts to see you, then the people involved with his office will spell out the protocol you must follow to the letter while you are with him, and tell you exactly how much time has been allocated for you. And if you do something outside that protocol they will remove you immediately. Likewise it works in any monarchy. Now Jesus is the King of Kings. God above everything. He gave us the grace to pray to Him. But He gave a precise protocol in which we should pray.

Excellent post but I'd just like to add that righteous anger is a fruit of God. Also, praying to God is talking to him, with honesty with respect. Pouring out your heart to him. Beyond that there's no 'protocol' to prayer.

God has created you to expand His family, and all His creations are perfect. What happened in your life, nobody knows but I can tell you, God is doing the Good things and Satan does the Bad things. If something Bad is happening in your life, Blame Satan and when something Good is happening, Thank God. If Bad things are continuously in your life, it means that Satan is constantly pestering you because God is not in your life. You have the choice, you can either accept God and Jesus in your life or reject them. You have obviously already made the choice by rejecting God and Jesus by the way you communicate and blaming them for the Bad things happening in your life. Do you think for one second that God and Jesus appreciate the way you talk to Them like that? Who do you think you are? Are you above God because that is the picture I am getting. It shows that you have no respect for Them. No wonder things don't work out nice for you. Do you talk to your parents the same way? Satan had the same attitude in heaven and he was kicked out. It is obvious that you have always been spoilt and now that it is not the case, you blame everybody else but yourself. Go and check yourself in the mirror and ask the person in the mirror if she loves you for the way you are right now. Smile at her and tell her that you love her. The next step is to go onto your knees and pray "God, I have sinned against You and I pray that You would forgive all my sins. Please take my hand and never let it go. Please carry me as I do not have the strength and cannot walk straight now. Please control my thoughts and my deeds every second of this day. Let your light shine through me. I pray this in Jesus Name, Amen." Every time when you feel miserable, go down on your knees and pray the same prayer. God will enter your life and things will happen the way that God wants it to happen. Trust in Him and your life will become better. It all starts with YOU. I pray for you as well.

Tintin...

PROTOCOL FOR PRAYING AND COMMUNING WITH GOD

Mat 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Mat 6:2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Mat 6:3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
Mat 6:4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
Mat 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Mat 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Mat 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Mat 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Mat 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Mat 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
Mat 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Mat 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Mat 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Mat 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Mat 6:16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Mat 6:17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
Mat 6:18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
Mat 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
Mat 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Mat 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
Mat 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Mat 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Mat 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Mat 6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
Mat 6:28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
Mat 6:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Mat 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Mat 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Mat 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mat 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Please if you do not see how this is a protocol... tell me and I will gladly explain it in a new thread. For the entire chapter 6 is about prayer.

Some of that concerns prayer, some of it doesn't. Context is key, as is common sense. We're not always going to be in our best mind when we talk to God but he wants our honesty.

I'm gonna disagree with you there, Frank. Creation was perfect before the Fall of Man, but after Adam and Eve were forced to eke out a miserable existence east of Eden, the earth itself has been "cursed."

Hi Theophane
All creations are perfect but people are born in sin.
A HUGE difference.
Babies born today are perfect, unless the parents have been drinking etc to hamper the growth.
You will notice that all babies have ten toes and ten fingers.
The hearts are pumping and the livers are working.
It is all perfect.
The same in animal life and in new plants.
Creation also relates to those that are just created/born.
I am not referring to people who have had a chance to mess up things.

I think this is relevant to this tread, Proverbs 29

[SUP]18 [/SUP]Where there is no revelation,[SUP][c][/SUP] the people cast off restraint;
But happy is he who keeps the law.

So its like King Saul, who couldn't wait on the Lord (or the Lord's servant Samuel) for the sacrifice to be presented properly before battle. Since the Samuel was late in coming to King Saul, for the blessing and affirmation regarding the upcoming events, King Saul could not restrain himself from seeking it his own way. What a disastrous thing is was for King Saul.

May God have mercy on me for the many times I have also failed in this area.

I feel the same way... I've lost my faith, in many ways. All I really have is wishful thinking; God loves you, that means that no matter where you go, what you do, what you say, or what you believe in the end... You WILL be in heaven when you die. That means that THIS life is a 100% gift of grace. God can be present in this life, but it seems he would rather you live your life as you see best... You are not a robot!
Read this book: LOVE WINS by Rob Bell. It really helped me cope with Gods apparent lack of enthusiasm in my life.
Peace!

Please interpret these verses, straight from the Lord Jesus himself:

Matthew 13
[SUP]40 [/SUP]Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. [SUP]41 [/SUP]The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, [SUP]42 [/SUP]and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. [SUP]43 [/SUP]Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

The doctrine of Hell is clearly taught, this just one place in the bible regarding Hell, among many. Rob Bell preaches grace without Justice and should be labeled a false/deceived teacher.

Hi Theophane
All creations are perfect but people are born in sin.

Babies born today are perfect, unless the parents have been drinking etc to hamper the growth.
You can do a Google Image search for images of babies born with horrible deformities, if you have the stomach for it. If you're brave enough, do a search for "Harlequin Syndrome." But be warned! Horrific images!

You will notice that all babies have ten toes and ten fingers.
Do a Google Image Search for "polydactyl" and "sumernumary digits."

The hearts are pumping and the livers are working.

No, not in every case.

It is all perfect.
No. We are not what was intended. :(

The person who do not believe in God will NOT be with Him in heaven one day but will be perished with Satan by fire and brimstone. Nobody goes to heaven when he/she dies. When Jesus comes again to gather His people, the saved ones, just before the 1000 period or Millennium, then only will people be going to heaven and not before the time.

Are you also tired being a Christian?

I do not agree with your protocol regarding prayer. You may go down onto your knees and pray, AT ANY TIME. You may access God immediately through Jesus Christ. There is no closed door or documents you have to complete or to arrange for an appointment regarding this. God will not reject you if you are earnest in your action. Incidentally, where do you find this protocol in His Word? Please enlighten me regarding this. The only hierarchy I know is that anybody who wishes to go to the Father in prayer must do it through Jesus Christ, His Son. That is the only protocol requirement as far as I know.
