hey my friends the little jew in me told me to start this thread

sometimes it seems that all christians believe that jesus is god in the flesh but thats not true.
jesus is son of god not god himself.

i give you one example: when jesus was hanging at the cross he said " my god my god why have you forsaken me" so he was praying to god when he was at the cross so he cant be god.

you guys always say jesus is in heaven sitting next to the father so is jesus the father?

i dont want to hurt feelings but you have to understand that. Its important for his second coming.

when he comes and you think hes god you get too confused.

This is absurd imho, there is no real proof that the Everlasting Almighty God of the Holy Bible died on a cross, the cross is pagan, it was even used by the egyptians, in fact egyptian gods held one in their hand, it does not have a top part it has a round handle, it is the egyptian cross and I think it is called the ankh? the egyptian gods and goddesses were proved to be ineffectual when the Abrahamic God of the Holy Bible sent the amazing supernatural ten plagues upon the pharoah of egypt, the egyptian cross pre-dates Christianity, in fact there are several different types of crosses, there is no real proof that a wooden cross was the implement one was nailed to as a form of capital punishment in biblical times.

I'm here because this is an open public forum for topical Bible discussion, i'm also here to seek out the truth, the Holy Bible makes it very clear that there are false prophets and teachers within Christianity as a whole, so I have prayed to the God of the Holy Bible (the abrahamic God Yaweh) for insight on what the truth really is. And as all can clearly see Christianity as a whole is divided on the true meaning of Scripture. So, as I go about my search and research I should be able to seek out the only one true Christian religion that the God of the Holy Bible really supports. There can be only one true Christian religion and only one true interpretation of the Bible.

Everything you said there does not prove absolutely in any way whatsoever that Jesus Christ the Son of God was put to death on a cross, just because some claim it as truth still does not make it the truth. We could go at this all day long, it is just one individuals interpretation of Holy Scripture over anothers. The cross could of been added to the Bible accounts at anytime after the original accounts and by anyone, in fact many things could of been altered to suit an agenda. Faith alone also does not prove Jesus Christ was crucified on two bits of timber put together in a way that makes it a cross. The use of the cross could be seen as idol worship which would be seen as a violation of God's standards and acceptence of true worship toward Him.

Ok, but none of what you said proves that Jesus Christ is the only One True Everlasting Almighty God of the Holy Bible, anything everlasting can not die and yet Jesus Christ died so therefore cannot be the Almighty God, unless the Holy Bible is fake and was made up by man or has been severley tampered with or everlasting does not really mean everlasting, in which case there are serious issues at hand.

Ok then, did you personally speak to the Christ somewhere? did he tell you that he is the Almighty God? did he personally tell you that he died on a cross? if he did all of this, tell me, how are you going to prove this with any absolute certainty?

with the mindset you have you will not find the (proof) you are seeking. Before any of that is revealed to you first an actual connection and bond with him is required God is a clever one he purposely made it made where only one who his who is saved who has a true bond with him will be able to see into his realm and know his truths. seeking the truth of all of this and thinking about it all can be good but only to a point because the deeper truths of it all will remain hidden from your eyes.

What proof is it that would convince you of all this? if your looking for facts and written proof physical proof of any kind good luck because people have sought after all that and never once found near enough to prove it this is because the proof is not a physical one it's a spiritual one

Does he have to come to the CROSS?
Will he come to the CROSS?

In his seeking to know HIM, will he come to know HIM through the scriptures or by coming to HIM in faith?


I am just trying to understand if by seeking HIS WORD on paper...if it is the same as that cut to the heart/knee-buckling truth of THE GOSPEL?

That CHRIST laid down the Life, so that what was dead (we were all dead...dead in our sins and trespasses and separated from an all HOLY GOD who can not stand in the presence of sin) might be gathered up to GOD and made alive to GOD in HIS SON by HIS LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT...

I am just wondering if what is hidden in HIS WORD can be revealed to one who does not believe THE GOSPEL?
For I thought it is only through CHRIST that one can have access to THE FATHER by ONE SPIRIT
and it is only IN CHRIST that the veil is removed and one can even see the GLORY of GOD in the FACE of JESUS CHRIST.
