God answers prayer in his time. God knows when the time is right for us to get our answer from him. Sometimes the answer is not what we want to her. God knows what is best for us.

Habakkuk 2:3 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry

But actually we can learn to Know and trust it is always what we need.
And that is a good place to be. :) But never stop praying. :)

And also,and here is the kicker,the prayers of a righteous person avails much,not the prayers of a person who claims to be with Christ,but the prayers of the people who claim to be with Christ who are righteous avails much,which leaves out quite a lot of people who claim to be with Christ,that their prayers are not being answered to begin with.

If they want to love some things of the world,and not act like Christ,then God is not obligated to answer their prayer.The only prayer God answers are those who are righteous.

That surely could be happening alot in my life. And at other times how half asleep at
the wheel i am, and many other times i dont pray at all, but again im equally surprised
He answers at all. Which He does, so i will keep on praying.

God answers All prayers, sometimes the answer is no! As you said Von1, it is now always what we want to hear, but if we trust God to do what is best for us then that trust must be to accept the answer as he gives it to us - yes or no!

Amen, Mom and Dad, that's the thing that people in today's society just don't seem to have the concept for - It is so hard to be patient anymore because we almost expect life to be like a McDonald's drive-thru ... I had a friend say to me one time, "The Bible says ask and we will receive, so why haven't I received yet?" It's in HIS timing - right you are!
