Unrepentant sinners go to hell which is a place/state of extreme torment for all eternity.
Hey.. I just picked one and you have made more then one statement with no scripture to back your statement with. So this "hell" "hell," "Gehenna," and "Hades," Seems a place for the dead? Just stating one. What always lol sorry gets me is how some believe you go to (Forgive me Father) hell and burn and also being tormented by demons. Huh? They are evil.. Satan father of lies no truth in him and all the fallen angels and demons can still right now do evil.. things we have never seen. But man .. man can go to hell for just smoking or lying some groups believe. Then most if there never knew Christ was the only way the only truth the only life. I mean know as the 12 did.. without question with no doubt they knew Christ. Who here knows Him like that? Met Him did you? Know Him better then you know your spouse your best friend or your kids?

All this talk .. do you notice its not coming from Him but man. He said if you were blind you would have no sin. For me ... man are you blind? Its a never ending river of sin it seems. Yet He treats me as if I never have. See I don't say sorry (repent) because I have some fear of hell or Gods wrath. No I say sorry because I hurt my friend. See it hurts Him because I put something between us and in the end that sin will hurt me for the wages of sin is death.

Ask seek won't be easy but ask to see people through His eyes. He loves us. He hurts because not one knows just how much He loves us. For God so loved the world. OT He came to see if the cries He heard were true. This question the OP asks.. its as if they never read Matt-John. If you had you never would have asked. Unrepented sinner. Go out side.. go work watch TV read books from all those that don't know Him. He rains on the just and unjust. The air I breath the lost the unrepented sinner breathes. Shall I go on? He leaves the 99 to go after the one.

What I can say is .. to ask this you do not know Him. No books have been open. And this Hell ""hell," "Gehenna," and "Hades," Which version according to man are you running with? Well some say just smoking you end up there. Some believe you can believe in Jesus but sin will send you there. He said God did not send His son to Comden to judge this world but to save it. So those unrepented sinners? Where are we right now? Him? Still out there saving His creation. And His kids? Some of them have a countdown to those going to hell. And we wonder why they do not want our Jesus. So tell them why He came.. He came just for you.. as if you were the only one He came to save you. He loves you the sinner

This is what I believe. But I do wonder do you believe what you are saying because it comes from the heart or just what you have been taught. Like do you really know Him? Do we?

I think it important to note that hades is also related to hell in revelation it speaks of it, some people believe there is no hell but I have personally been there before I saw the lake of fire I felt the intense thirst the heat was so bad my shirt was glued to my skin from sweat so for those who believe it doesn't exists I can attest yes it does is it eternal? I am not sure I hope not because what I saw there I pray God has mercy on those there in particular one man I met there who said he deserved to be there he was the only one I saw who was repentant

I think hades is different from hell just like abrahams bossom spoken of there seems to be a holding place for the dead one in darkness the other a haven type place I have seen both of them. the hellfire is the lake of fire which does exist

You will find that many disregard this fact and contradict what Scripture says regardless of the fact that Scripture says it.
So do the souls in hell perish but the ones in Christ go to everlasting life? this would explain the second death at least

John 17 verses 2-3~ You granted Him authority over all people, so that He may give eternal life to all those You have given Him. Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom You have sent.:)

John 5 verses 24-25 ~ Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life. Truly, truly, I tell you, the hour is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. :)

John 10 verses 27-28 My sheep hear My voice, I know them and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand.

but if eternal life is given to those given to Jesus then does that mean he rules over all those in eternal hell as well?

All souls belong to God, but the soul that sins is the one who will die, there being only one unforgivable sin, and we know
what that is... for it is those who do not have faith in the shed righteous blood of Jesus Christ who suffer the second death.
All others are clothed in His righteousness, covered by the blood of the Lamb, sealed with the incorruptible Holy Spirit.

so all those people I saw in hell what about them? they weren't dying they were being dropped into the lake of fire and being tormented if the second death means to perish do you think they just serve a certain amount of time there and then die for good or does the second death mean more of a metaphoric thing?

It means to b destroyed , completely , to cease to exist .
I know there is a doctrine which asserts "perish" means to "ad nihilum" to nothing, but I do not think it is really supported by the context of all scripture.

The weight of Scripture favors the non-Augustinian view. There are in fact very few verses that support your view in comparison.

Just like with free will... of which there are actually NONE.

Well it isn't my view it is just what I saw when I visited hell I would prefer that eternal torment is not a thing in fact from what I saw I wouldn't wish that upon even the worst of people but this verse here what do you make of it?

Matthew 25:46:
"And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life

Eternal punishment... yes, the second death is forever after. It is not eternal punishing.
