14. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a WITNESS,unto all nations; And then shall the end come.

Question: If this gospel is preached in all the world; what good has it done?
For INIQUITY is escalating (abound), not diminishing, but ABOUND.

What has gone wrong with the preaching of the gospel?

Is this why God says '' the land is desolate?

An apostasy is coming and, it is here at the door. Therefore watch.

What and where is this iniquity that is abounding that causes the love of many to wax cold (Mt 24:12)?

What is this mystery of iniquity that is already at work in this world (2Thes 2:7)?

What is this throne of iniquity and its fellowship that frameth mischief by a law (Ps 94:20)?

What was this iniquity that was found in Lucifer that caused him to rebel against the throne of God and decieve one third of the angels of heaven (Ez 28:15)?

What relationship does evil have with iniquity (Micah 2:1)?

Why does the Lord Jesus Christ call all those that He does not know 'workers of iniquity', who have their part in the lake of fire (Lk 13:27,28, Ps 6:8, Mt 7:23)?

Why is the tongue a world of iniquity, an unruly evil set on fire of hell, full of deadly poison and such a little member that can defile the whole body (Jm 3:6-8)?

as for what GOOD preaching does? It does allows people to LISTEN and OBEY God's will for them in their lives.Which is the Great Commission that Jesus gave His disciples:

God through the Holy Spirit still opens peoples understanding of the Scriptures and we are to preach to all nations that "repentance and remission of sins" is possible if people believe in the name of Jesus. We are to be witnesses of how GOD works in our lives and how His Law transforms our souls.

7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;

Let us pray.

Dear Lord: we come before Your throne of grace as unworthy sinners, but You tell us where we see guilty signs and condemnation You see the redeeming blood of Christ. God we are in need of Your Grace and mercy for we have sinned in things done, spoken and things left undone and unspoken for whenever we rebel against Your will in our lives we are sinning. Your Holy Word has shown and told us that rebellion and stubbornness and resisting the direction of the Holy Spirit is paramount to witchcraft and sorcery. Another translation say "because of lawlessness, the love of many grows cold." I believe that because lawlessness is increasing all the time, has indeed become the norm for most's behavior, that many become jaded.

But there is another thing Jesus said about the degeneration that is coming as we approach the last days; that if salt has lost it's saltiness, that it has become worthless, and useless and is close to being thrown away. The world has been preserved, kept from utter destruction, for the same of the elect. The entire creation is groaning and travailing as it awaits the revealing of the children of God. And while waiting, God has subjected the creation to futility. All of this for our sake.

But then comes the apostasy. The falling away. And even before this disaster comes, the seeds of it's inception must have been sown. And as the church moves farther and farther away from the truth, away from God; the reason to preserve the world slips away and fades, along with how much the church actually displays God to the world.

Interesting days ahead, that's for sure.
