I was raised in knowing that our eyes are portals into our souls. I realize that the internet can be evil, but what about tv? There are so many movies and tv shows that should not be watched by Christians. I have actually been seriously thinking about not watching tv anymore because even the commercials have gotten bad.
Obviously CC is the exception to the Internet as a source of evil.
Most people have no idea how Evil is the Internet. Go on the web and for example look for pornography. You will be disgusted and horrified by what you see. Surprisingly everyone can see it including your children. Internet evil is not just about pornography but anything you can think of and even more.
The strong said what we choose to use on the Internet is up to us. What about the weak, the little children, the vulnerable, the poor, the depressed, the mentally instable, those with little self-control, those inclined to evils, those easily manipulated and so on?
Is it acceptable to put pornography within children reaches?
Is it acceptable to allow the Internet spreading hateful propaganda and recruit jihadists?
Is it acceptable to allow the Internet to teach how to make bombs or illegal drugs?
How many people did the Internet transformed into rapists, abusers, pedophiles, psychopaths, jihadists, or terrorists? Do you think Jesus will tolerate that the Internet be the source of all these evils?
The weak can obviously cut you’re their hands but wouldn’t be better to censor the Internet through legislation. What is needed is just a little bit of good will!

Anything can be used for good or evil, even scripture. TVs, books, computers, clothing, weapons, words, pillows, literally anything. But just because something can be used for evil, does that mean I stop using it even if I'm using it for good? Whatever products we use it should be used for God's benefit.
