E
Shalom, My Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus ! Is it possible for Christians to perish in hell ?
I believe that Salvation is only found in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and it is by God's Grace alone that
we are saved. I have read Matthew 7: 21 ( “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the
kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven, NIV.) for more than
once and I question myself " Does this mean that Christians can perish in hell ? " " How can we be sure that
we are really saved? " I haven't found the answer to my question yet so I am hoping that you guys can give
me the answer, thank you very much.

1. Do we trust that Christs work on the cross is sufficient,
2. Do we believe Jesus when he said "It (the work fo salvation) is finished"
3. Do we trust God when he said whoever has faith in his son will NEVER PARISH, but live eternally with him (Eternal life)
or do we believe yes Jesus did a great thing, but we have to work to get in, That the death of Christ was not sufficient, he needs our help.
The fact is, there are non righteous, All our works are as filthy rags, Not a man woman or child on earth will ever be worthy of eternal life. Even if they were saved today by trusting christ and never sin again, they would still be unworthy. For as God says in his word, 1 sin is worthy of eternal damnation.
I would ask the people who think they could ever be good enough to earn salvation, how many death sentances they have against them (how many sins have they ever commited) and why they think them being good would help earn them a ticket to heaven.
as the song goes, the train is a commin, Jesus bought the ticket with his death, just climb aboard!!
