For we must all be manifested before the judgment seat of Christ, that every one may receive the proper things of the body, according as he hath done, whether it be good or evil.

God is the ultimate Judge of everything.
Judge ourselves worthy of God ? Jesus says we need to repent which means we need to acknowledge our sins the defining trait that means we are unworthy

The beauty is that God loves us like his children even though we have all fallen short and proven ourselves unworthy our Father loved us anyways

awe don’t love our dear children because they are worthy , they become worthy because we love them even when they aren’t perfect and worthy even at thier worst we don’t abandon our children love is the reason not that anyone is worthy but love transcends flaws and shortcoming we love those we love anyways ….it can’t be earned

we should understand God is a much more dedicated parent than the best and most patient of us

It seems to me that we will all be dead no matter what we have done, either in Christ or apart from Christ who, alone, is life.

That is not the purpose of judging ourselves. Christians are worthy before God only because He justifies us by His grace. Otherwise we are totally unworthy. But He also tells His children to examine themselves daily for their own present sins and failures. We are to confess our sins, repent, and move forwarding by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are to purify ourselves.

What is the gospel?
Paul uses several references in his letters to the gospel or "good news" as it could be translated as well.

I like the good news of the Kingdom of God and in the context of current world news (bad news in a lot of cases because we are really screwing things up as a race...), I long for the return of Jesus Christ and the establishment of His kingdom on earth.

Of course, the "Gospels" contain the good news about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That is certainly good news for those who accept it like us!!!

No we already are worthy. If we were not worthy we could not come before Him boldly "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. " nor could be be seated in heavenly places "and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, ".

I could live a thousand life times and never sin yet still not worthy. Its Christ alone in me. My faith in Him so my Father sees me through what Christ did aka righteousness. Oh we love that word "judge" yet after all I have read most of my life I wonder how many know understand grace, mercy, forgiveness. So when I look at any other believer no matter what I see I always fall to my knees and thank Him cry.. He has shown me such mercy and grace and love. No matter what it is He still shows me mercy and grace and forgiveness. All of us were in chains some so bound up just awful yet He set them free. They then go out see someone that does something wrong sins what ever they then judge them never showing them the grace mercy the forgiveness.

So judge to be worthy no I am. But judge my self daily? Amen yes! Again no matter what I see in any other believer I look at my self 1st then see the good in my brother and sister. I am no ones god nor judge.

Some of you should know this by now. This is milk. You should know we all have and do at times sin willfully. We have the knowledge of the truth but we repent. There are those that have heard know Christ came died for all your sins yet keep on sinning never repenting. To reject that..there is no more sacrifice. There is nothing but judgment. The difference is we repent the other knows but never does. Some use this to control other believers to cast fear which is never of God.

What should be said is.. if you have sinned repent do a 180 not a 360.

You will not escape God's judgement. (y)
as long as i continue to obey His Commandments, Abide in Him, i won't be doing anything outside of His Will. so, because He has given us a Written Account of His Holy Word, and we know His Promises for doing as He Commands, and He also SAID He CANNOT go back or against His Holy Word, so WE DO KNOW how to follow the Spirit of God and keep ourselves within line. because when we SIN, we IMMEDIATELY Repent!

the LORD's Prayer [[specifically states]] ...if you FORGIVE those who sin against you, Your Father in Heaven, is Faithful to forgive your own sins. and if you [[do not]] Forgive, Your Father [[will not]] Forgive You.

So, we know and have all the Help Guides showing us the way. we just need to keep on the Narrow Path.

Thanks. I was asking that particular person because I was trying to work on his understanding from a common understanding.
