I think it even was hard in that day. Look at the Corinthian church. The church was practicing sin. Allowing a grave sin ( a man who openly sleeps which his father's wife.) Should have been teachers, and not babies needing fed. Who were their leaders. How did they get qualified. What were their issues. Sounds alot like many churches I know today.

why is it so slim? Is it because there are not enough people good enough? Or is it because not many people will stand still and let God save them and fulfill his promise to us. but we want to help him by working and trying to be good. and going to church or whatever works one does to help God save us?
Well then no one will be saved. because no one will ever be as "mature" as God, until we die. Gods standard is the law. If we want to make it to Gods standard. we have to obay the law 100 %, Since no one has done this. No one will be qualified.
I must ask you cobus, why do you place yourself back under law. paul states those who put themselves under law are judged by the law. and are found guilty.
That passage of scripture is talking about the end times. the great tribulation. where Gods wrath and mans evil are at their highest point the earth has ever seen. Whoever endures to the end of this period will be saved. It is not talking about eternal life. or eternal salvation. this is a misrepresentation of this scripture!
No one will go all the way with Jesus. Even paul said he failed in this area. he was still trying to get there, up until he died.

The problem is God does not remove our flesh. We can Grieve the Holy spirit who is in us. grieving the spirit does not mean we lose him, it means we have saddened him by our actions. we have followed our flesh and not him.
As paul says, if Christ is in us, our bodies are dead because of sin (sin we are doing continually) but our spirit is made alive in Christ. because of the spirit in us.
we will not be glorified until we are resurrected. Then and only then will our bodies be free of the judgment of sin, and thus be perfect. will our flesh be removed where we will be sinless. where our sanctification = our glorification.
on earth we are sanctified positionally in Christ. this is our positional sanctification.
our condition however does not match our position. Conditional sanctification is where our we grow in Christ. trying wholeheartedly to match our condition with our position.
Paul said he continued to run the race. striving to get there. We all should. but we should never think we made it. This is a dangerous thinking.

The Death Side. In sanctification God has to deal with us on the death side as well as on the life side. Sanctification requires our coming to the place of death, but many of us spend so much time there that we become morbid. There is always a tremendous battle before sanctification is realized— something within us pushing with resentment against the demands of Christ. When the Holy Spirit begins to show us what sanctification means, the struggle starts immediately. Jesus said, “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate . . . his own life . . . he cannot be My disciple” (Luke 14:26).
In the process of sanctification, the Spirit of God will strip me down until there is nothing left but myself, and that is the place of death. Am I willing to be myself and nothing more? Am I willing to have no friends, no father, no brother, and no self-interest— simply to be ready for death? That is the condition required for sanctification. No wonder Jesus said, “I did not come to bring peace but a sword” (Matthew 10:34). This is where the battle comes, and where so many of us falter. We refuse to be identified with the death of Jesus Christ on this point. We say, “But this is so strict. Surely He does not require that of me.” Our Lord is strict, and He does require that of us.

Death to self. This is where things get both difficult and controversial. Many today feel that death to self is unnecessary for salvation, some would argue otherwise.
I would say this. Death to self, placing more value on God and his word than the lusts of the flesh and the desires of this world, is the only way to have victory over sin in this life. I also believe that it is the only way to insure both answered prayer and have a truly effective ministry.

While I can appreciate Cobus' zeal in the matter, I think where Cobus may have a problem is when exactly does a person becomes saved? Does it occur once a person comes to faith or when a person reaches perfection, that is if indeed it is even obtainable at all.
Regardless of at what point we feel that a person is saved, what we must understand is that you and I are completely incapable of saving ourselves. The only part we have play in this thing called salvation is to humble ourselves and follow the Holy Spirit's guidance. If calls us to put something down, we lay it down. If He calls us to break off certain relationships, we do so. etc.
Cobus has hardly become a problem, at not yet anyways. Be patient guys and pray for those that you feel could use it. If we give in to debate and arguing, it will only serve to do far more damage than good.
You know what, I can now for the first time see that the ones that does not agree with me is also considering me as a loved one! There is a Psalm in the Bible that says this... Psalm 37:4. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart! Jesus was perfect becasue the Spirit of God was in control of HIM ALL THE TIME! That is what mae Jesus PERFECT! The Holy Spirit IS GOD! So I guess I want GOD TO MAKE EVERY MOVE IN MY BODY, AND SPEAK EVERY WORD THAT COMES FROM MY MOUTH, AND PLACE EVERY THOUGH IN MY HEAD!!! I WANT TO BE REMOVED FROM THIS BODY, BECASUE I AM NOT THIS FLESH!!! I AM NOT THIS VESSEL OF FLEAH AND BLOOD!... I AM THE LIVING SOUL IN THE BLOOD, AND THE SPIRIT WITH THE MANY OPTIONS! I am not this flesh! It is just a vessel. The vessel goes where the captain steers it, but what if i ask GOD TO BE THE CAPTAIN, and please God be the Captain of this vessel. Will God do it if it is my hearts desire? In other words I ask God to take this spirit of mine that made wrong choices and REMOVE it from this body, and then God do not put any other spirit in here, but YOUR HOLY SPIRIT. AND GOD FILL IT WITH YOUR SPIRIT, UNTILL YOU WANT TO DISCARD THIS VESSEL.
That is the desire of my heart... The sad thing about this, is... THEN THE WORLD WOULD HATE ME!!! But can the World hate me, or do they hate the righteousness in me? We read in 1 Timothy 3:9 that a deacon should: .... 9Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. A deacon should be a man, that holds the mystery of the faith on a pure conscience. Now what is the mystery of the faith?
This verse gives us a hint: “pure conscience” is that hint! Few people will realize how deep and how powerful these two words are! Pure conscience! The whole Gospel of Jesus and the result of salvation, and the promise of God to ALL who love Him is locked up in these two words…PURE CONSCIENCE!
Let us just get ALL doubt about this two words out of the way… to house something on a pure conscience is to LOCK IT IN A PURE CONSCIENCE! That means that conscience is NEVER IMPURE!!! If the conscience is impure at any time, you cannot HOLD the mystery on a pure conscience. A pure conscience is only pure when it STAYS PURE! So this pure conscience is NEVER IMPURE!!!
Now let us look at what a pure conscience means… It means that not even the Holy Spirit can find fault in what you do! We know if we have sin, any sin, it is the sole duty of the Holy Spirit to convince you of the sin. And it is your responsibility to do with that sin as the Word teaches… REPENT. Now this is it, what if the Holy Spirit does not convince you of any sin?
The fact that you know what the mystery of the faith is, already shows you your relationship with God. It already confirms that God is revealing HIS WORD to you! We know that if God reveals His Word to you that God actually reveals Himself to you! So that you are in personal contact with God, and there is no way that you will be blind to sin in your life! But the pure conscience is exactly that… a pure heart! That means there is no sin in you! That means you do not sin! Not ever, because if you do the Holy Spirit would show you, but that will make your conscience unclean and you will have to confess and repent. But what do you confess or repent when your conscience is pure? Then you do not confess….Then you witness!!!!
Ok now we start to get closer to the “mystery of the faith” Let me just tell you what the mystery of the faith is. Let me put it straight out so that you do not misunderstand me. And even if you disagree with me, please know this… This is what I believe the mystery of faith is:…
Jesus saves me from hell, what I deserve, to be HIM what He deserves! This sounds a bit confusing to some so I will put it in plainer language. Jesus takes me as a sinner and through His Salvation makes me a perfect man. So perfect, that not even the Holy Spirit can show a single sin in me! The NEW ME IS JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF!!!
Let us first look at who is Cobus… Cobus is not this flesh! This flesh is only a part time vessel, it was made from dust and it will return to dust. This flesh is only a part time body that are OCCUPIED by a living soul. The soul is in the blood!!! Now the moment God gives this body a spirit, this body now contains a living soul… Look at Genesis 2:7 7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. That breath into his nostrils is the spirit. Spirit means breath of life. There is NOTHING impure with this spirit or soul at this stage. Adam was perfect! But then Adam ate of the tree and LOOK!!! He saw he was naked…. Conscience!!! Now his conscience is IMPURE!! It was pure but now it is IMPURE!!! And immediately he tried to HIDE FROM GOD!!! Sin separates us from GOD!!! And look… Adam said to God… I heard thou voice and I was afraid, because I was naked!!! He was not clothed with the PURE CONSCIENCE any more!! We read in revelation again about being found naked by the Lord! And we read about how we must CLOTHE ourselves with the NEW MAN! Again in TRUE HOLINESS.. Eph 4:24.. Rev 16:15…
Ok so now let us get it clear how we are made, what we foul up and how Jesus saves… I am not born a sinner. I am born a living soul in the kingdom of God! Like Adam, God creates me in His image and His likeness. But unlike Adam I am born in a world of iniquity. I am born where the whole world lies in sin! Adam was born in a garden where there was NO SIN! Here on earth there is a garden where God keeps sin out!!! That is another study. Ok so when I sin for the first time in my life, I also are thrown out of the garden! Like Adam! The day I become guilty of sin, I am also afraid of God, and I also cannot be in His presence. I am also naked now and ashamed! I now have an impure conscience. Do you know that I can remember the first time I felt bad about something? And I was 4 years old? Do you know that I CANNOT remember anything bad before that day? I killed a neighbor’s tortoise, and I was very afraid to go tell him, but my dad forced me to go and apologize. I remember how scared I was, and how bad I felt, and then the man said…It is ok son. Well the scaredness vanished, and later the bad feeling also went away. I am still sorry, but I do not feel bad about it anymore. It was 50 years ago! WOW I am old!!!
Just look how good this essay is… Here I am 50 years later and I am witnessing for God! I am trying to please God, and who knows maybe I do? I write this to share with you how grateful I am that the Almighty God, has a plan even for me!
Ok now I fouled up what God created, and God cannot create an evil man, God only creates perfection. even the flesh that we get inside our mothers, is God’s miracle! It is only a body, but that soul that comes alive when God gives it a spirit, that IS beautiful. I caught my own son, and I saw how that lifeless little body, perfectly formed, but very DEAD and UGLY BLUE for flesh, the eyes closed and lifeless. Then that baby starts to breathe… MAN, the face turns from a dead blue to a living pink, and LIFE happens! That little soul is awakened, and the baby LIVES! The joy that comes with that first cry, is a joy that GOD shares with all present! When that baby comes out, He has blood in his body, and the soul is in the blood…asleep.
The baby’s mind does not work. He is DEAD OR ASLEEP!! That soul in that body is dead or asleep! That baby is only an extension of the mother. He begot his flesh from the mother, and that flesh is DEAD! If that baby does not get a breath into the nostrils by God, that soul will NEVER be awakened or live in the flesh! We call it a still born. That fist breath is the spirit God gives to the baby. If that spirit leaves the baby the soul that was “alive” goes to sleep! When the spirit God gave us (breath) leaves us the soul goes to sleep again!
Ok so now we are a living soul with three parts… A body, a soul in the blood, and a spirit that gives it life! Now that spirit is the power over the soul. That spirit is the influence of the mind, the choice of the actions! The spirit is the force of obedience! And the obedience of the spirit n a baby has no choice yet, because of the innocence in a baby. But as the baby grows and the body becomes more and more INDEPENDENT, then the spirit gets more CHOICES! The spirit in the body of the baby saw the mother’s breast, and he saw FOOD! And when that exact same spirit later sees the neighbor’s daughter swimming topless, that same spirit in the teenage boy, now sees TOYS! Not FOOD, but something else! Because that spirit now is maturing in more options.
The world was supposed to only offer pure options, but ADAM spoiled it, and now I am about to do the same! I see the neighbor’s daughter and we do something really stupid… And this is just TRUTH… A girl is very attractive when you see her, and you pursue her. When you as an dirty guy get her in your bed, she is just magic, but straight after? Oh boy all of a sudden her friend is now the hot one! Or her sister. You see how quickly things goes wrong for this soul? This spirit just wants ALL the sin, and he LOVES it! Let me be very clear on this… I loved having affairs with women. Even when I was married I LOVED IT! Boy was I a lost soul. My soul was LOST IN SIN!!! But is was magnificent and it was GREAT FUN!! When I scored another student at work I was the hero amongst the men in the office! I never told, but everybody knew, except my wife. If you think I am being to descriptive now, it is because I need you to see how LOST IN SIN we are!
At that stage of my life, where was the Holy Spirit? In me? Then why was he so quiet? Or was I only deaf? Nope, I did not KNOW God, and I did not even know if there was a God! I certainly did not believe in Him. The only thing I lived for was COBUS! Oh and a little for my two daughters, but it was like a burden and a blessing. If they were good, they were a blessing, and if they were bad they were a burden. And my wife? Man she was this woman I also known and she fell pregnant. Now she is my backup for this dirty spirit to please the lost soul. And I was a very busy man. Drinking, smoking, swearing, whoring, adultery and many more! My wife? She and the two daughters went to church and they were “good” people.
Ok so let us get back to the mystery… Then one day God arranged for me to end up in a church where HE had the people sing the “Lord’s Prayer” as in Matthew 6. Right there something happened, and it is important I describe this in detail. So please let me share this with you.
Remember I LOVE the sin. Even standing up when the song (prayer) started I was still LOST!!! And that lost guy was not troubled at all! Then the organ started and we all stood up. About 500 people. They started to sing… OUR FATHER WHICH ART IN HEAVEN… I closed my eyes, and I saw my whole life in the clearest three dimensional vision. It was FILTHY!!! Man Adam would glow like an angel compared to me!!! I was so ashamed standing there! ALL these holy people singing here, and I was shown how filthy I am. I saw a scroll rolling down, and all my sins were written on it. It was a thick scroll and there were thousands of transgressions. All in perfect detail. And the scroll rolled to the end, and a lot of paper was lying on the floor. Then the scroll started winding up the paper again, and MANY of the sins were already removed! I saw many gaps, where there was no gap a moment ago. Oh there were still sin on the scroll, but WAY less than at first. Later I would understand what that meant.
And I saw something else, I saw behind the scroll, off to the right, I saw a man! His body was made like it was cut from a huge diamond. And there came from him the purest of light. And the light was so bright I could not recognize the face. I looked intensely and then I saw it was me! But this part of the vision would only be known to me later. I saw it then, but the scroll was so much the focus, that I almost forgot about the ENLIGHTENED man in the back!
Ok so now I am awakened by the knowledge of the DIRT! The things I LOVED when I stood up hurt me so much now that I started crying… And the People sang… HALLOWED BE THY NAME! .. And I saw the first sin being revealed to me, once again. And I knew!!! I have to take this sin somewhere… And the People sang… THY KINGDOM COME… And I knew where to go….And I cried even more bitterly. By now my handkerchief was already soaked, fortunately my wife had two girls and a whole box of tissues with her. And the people sang… THY WILL BE DONE IN EARTH AS IN HEAVEN… And I knew, God wants me to STOP all these things that is still on the scroll. I just KNEW I HAD to stop, and it was not difficult, because in an instant my old LOVE is now my NEW HATE!!! And I cried and had hope of change, it looked like God would change things for me… And I looked at that shiny man again, was it me?... And the people sang…GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD… And I KNEW if I do not do this with God there will be NO BREAD!!! And I cried, because now I understood that God is VERY sad about this scroll. I cried even harder, and now the tissues are being soaked, my wife passed me a LOT through the whole prayer! And the people sang… FORGIVE US OUR SINS… and I begged God to clean the whole scroll! And the people sang… AS WE FORGIVE THOSE THAT SIN AGAINST US… And I looked for another scroll with the sins of the people that sin against me, I SAW NONE!!! And now I cried, and all these people were as holy as God. I was the ONLY SINNER THERE!!! And this is a deep one many years later!! But that is another study. And the People sang… LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL…And now I BEGGED! Oh boy, now the wife had to pass two tissues at a time, and she also took my arm… Listen here… if you do not believe this may God SHOW you!!! There was an angel right next to me, holding my arm! Later I would find out that it was Jesus that touched my arm! WOW!!!Is he going to lead me now? And is He going to deliver me from evil? .. Oh boy did I have hope NOW!!! …And the people sang…FOR THINE IS THE KIUNGDOM… and I saw the man in the LIGHT… and they sang…AND THE POWER… and I felt the touch on my arm, and it was PURE LOVE!!!...and they sang… AND THE GLORY… And I saw the man in the back, and he was glorious! Pure as this LOVE ON MY ARM!!! And the people sang… FOR EVER AND EVER…. And I saw the scroll, and it was white as snow and not a single little blot on it. The scroll was cleared to PURE CONSCIENCE clean!... And the people sang… AMEN! And I heard God…He said… IT SHALL BE SO!!!! And I knew… God will make me that man in the back, and that man was so pure and perfect, he can EASILY be mistaken for JESUS! Or is it a mistake? NO !!!!
This is it… The whole mystery, in us there can be a COMPLETE JESUS! God’s salvation is to create JESUS IN US! Jesus is our pure conscience, and that is a mystery to ALL THE EARTH, but a REVELATION to ALL God … IT SHALL BE SO!!! If God recreates Jesus in us, we are the mystery of the faith! Mystery to the world, but a revelation IN GOD!!
We are delivered from evil! We are delivered from this world and we are put back in the garden, HID from this world… We are again put with the tree of LIFE in God’s garden… His kingdom… We are where Jesus is…IN GOD.. DELIVERED FROM THIS WORLD….This is how God puts it in His Word…. Plain to read, but you need a revelation to see… 3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
How are we dead?... Well like this… ALL that sin on the scroll, I died for it. Meaning I do not keep that sin alive by giving it my soul!!! It is my soul that keeps the sin alive. And by now going to type these essays, I do not spend the time looking at porn and lusting after the FOOD… No I ask God… Lord help me express myself so that more people will ask…. LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL… My dear friends. God delivers you 100% from evil. And he will do it, and He can do it RIGHT NOW!!! All you have to do is ask and believe. I did and still do, and for all I know my deliverance might even have happened by the time you read this.

I WANT TO BE REMOVED FROM THIS BODY, BECASUE I AM NOT THIS FLESH!!! I AM NOT THIS VESSEL OF FLEAH AND BLOOD!... I AM THE LIVING SOUL IN THE BLOOD, AND THE SPIRIT WITH THE MANY OPTIONS! AND I AM THE SPIRIT THAT MAKES THE CHOICES THAT THE SOUL GETS COMMAND FROM AND THE BODY DOES WHAT HE IS TOLD BY THE SPIRIT THROUGH THE SOUL!!!
I am not this flesh! It is just a vessel. The vessel goes where the captain steers it, but what if i ask GOD TO BE THE CAPTAIN, and please God be the Captain of this vessel. Will God do it if it is my hearts desire? In other words I ask God to take this spirit of mine that made wrong choices and REMOVE it from this body, and then God do not put any other spirit in here, but YOUR HOLY SPIRIT. AND GOD FILL IT WITH YOUR SPIRIT, UNTILL YOU WANT TO DISCARD THIS VESSEL.
That is the desire of my heart... The sad thing about this, is... THEN THE WORLD WOULD HATE ME!!! But can the World hate me, or do they hate the righteousness in me? Becasue not long agao they loved me... Now to uderstand this let me SHOW you the best i know. This morning early God gave me this... I know it is a lot of reading, but please give me the homour of your full attention. I am spilling my whole inside to you and God, and I do this FOR ONE REASON... May God have His will done in me!!

The Mystery Of The Faith.
This verse gives us a hint: “pure conscience” is that hint! Few people will realize how deep and how powerful these two words are! Pure conscience! The whole Gospel of Jesus and the result of salvation, and the promise of God to ALL who love Him is locked up in these two words…PURE CONSCIENCE!
Let us just get ALL doubt about this two words out of the way… to house something on a pure conscience is to LOCK IT IN A PURE CONSCIENCE! That means that conscience is NEVER IMPURE!!! If the conscience is impure at any time, you cannot HOLD the mystery on a pure conscience. A pure conscience is only pure when it STAYS PURE! So this pure conscience is NEVER IMPURE!!!
Now let us look at what a pure conscience means… It means that not even the Holy Spirit can find fault in what you do! We know if we have sin, any sin, it is the sole duty of the Holy Spirit to convince you of the sin. And it is your responsibility to do with that sin as the Word teaches… REPENT. Now this is it, what if the Holy Spirit does not convince you of any sin?
The fact that you know what the mystery of the faith is, already shows you your relationship with God. It already confirms that God is revealing HIS WORD to you! We know that if God reveals His Word to you that God actually reveals Himself to you! So that you are in personal contact with God, and there is no way that you will be blind to sin in your life! But the pure conscience is exactly that… a pure heart! That means there is no sin in you! That means you do not sin! Not ever, because if you do the Holy Spirit would show you, but that will make your conscience unclean and you will have to confess and repent. But what do you confess or repent when your conscience is pure? Then you do not confess….Then you witness!!!!
Ok now we start to get closer to the “mystery of the faith” Let me just tell you what the mystery of the faith is. Let me put it straight out so that you do not misunderstand me. And even if you disagree with me, please know this… This is what I believe the mystery of faith is:…
Jesus saves me from hell, what I deserve, to be HIM what He deserves! This sounds a bit confusing to some so I will put it in plainer language. Jesus takes me as a sinner and through His Salvation makes me a perfect man. So perfect, that not even the Holy Spirit can show a single sin in me! The NEW ME IS JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF!!!
Let us first look at who is Cobus… Cobus is not this flesh! This flesh is only a part time vessel, it was made from dust and it will return to dust. This flesh is only a part time body that are OCCUPIED by a living soul. The soul is in the blood!!! Now the moment God gives this body a spirit, this body now contains a living soul… Look at Genesis 2:7 7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. That breath into his nostrils is the spirit. Spirit means breath of life. There is NOTHING impure with this spirit or soul at this stage. Adam was perfect! But then Adam ate of the tree and LOOK!!! He saw he was naked…. Conscience!!! Now his conscience is IMPURE!! It was pure but now it is IMPURE!!! And immediately he tried to HIDE FROM GOD!!! Sin separates us from GOD!!! And look… Adam said to God… I heard thou voice and I was afraid, because I was naked!!! He was not clothed with the PURE CONSCIENCE any more!! We read in revelation again about being found naked by the Lord! And we read about how we must CLOTHE ourselves with the NEW MAN! Again in TRUE HOLINESS.. Eph 4:24.. Rev 16:15…
Ok so now let us get it clear how we are made, what we foul up and how Jesus saves… I am not born a sinner. I am born a living soul in the kingdom of God! Like Adam, God creates me in His image and His likeness. But unlike Adam I am born in a world of iniquity. I am born where the whole world lies in sin! Adam was born in a garden where there was NO SIN! Here on earth there is a garden where God keeps sin out!!! That is another study. Ok so when I sin for the first time in my life, I also are thrown out of the garden! Like Adam! The day I become guilty of sin, I am also afraid of God, and I also cannot be in His presence. I am also naked now and ashamed! I now have an impure conscience. Do you know that I can remember the first time I felt bad about something? And I was 4 years old? Do you know that I CANNOT remember anything bad before that day? I killed a neighbor’s tortoise, and I was very afraid to go tell him, but my dad forced me to go and apologize. I remember how scared I was, and how bad I felt, and then the man said…It is ok son. Well the scaredness vanished, and later the bad feeling also went away. I am still sorry, but I do not feel bad about it anymore. It was 50 years ago! WOW I am old!!!
Just look how good this essay is… Here I am 50 years later and I am witnessing for God! I am trying to please God, and who knows maybe I do? I write this to share with you how grateful I am that the Almighty God, has a plan even for me!
Ok now I fouled up what God created, and God cannot create an evil man, God only creates perfection. even the flesh that we get inside our mothers, is God’s miracle! It is only a body, but that soul that comes alive when God gives it a spirit, that IS beautiful. I caught my own son, and I saw how that lifeless little body, perfectly formed, but very DEAD and UGLY BLUE for flesh, the eyes closed and lifeless. Then that baby starts to breathe… MAN, the face turns from a dead blue to a living pink, and LIFE happens! That little soul is awakened, and the baby LIVES! The joy that comes with that first cry, is a joy that GOD shares with all present! When that baby comes out, He has blood in his body, and the soul is in the blood…asleep.
The baby’s mind does not work. He is DEAD OR ASLEEP!! That soul in that body is dead or asleep! That baby is only an extension of the mother. He begot his flesh from the mother, and that flesh is DEAD! If that baby does not get a breath into the nostrils by God, that soul will NEVER be awakened or live in the flesh! We call it a still born. That fist breath is the spirit God gives to the baby. If that spirit leaves the baby the soul that was “alive” goes to sleep! When the spirit God gave us (breath) leaves us the soul goes to sleep again!
Ok so now we are a living soul with three parts… A body, a soul in the blood, and a spirit that gives it life! Now that spirit is the power over the soul. That spirit is the influence of the mind, the choice of the actions! The spirit is the force of obedience! And the obedience of the spirit n a baby has no choice yet, because of the innocence in a baby. But as the baby grows and the body becomes more and more INDEPENDENT, then the spirit gets more CHOICES! The spirit in the body of the baby saw the mother’s breast, and he saw FOOD! And when that exact same spirit later sees the neighbor’s daughter swimming topless, that same spirit in the teenage boy, now sees TOYS! Not FOOD, but something else! Because that spirit now is maturing in more options.
The world was supposed to only offer pure options, but ADAM spoiled it, and now I am about to do the same! I see the neighbor’s daughter and we do something really stupid… And this is just TRUTH… A girl is very attractive when you see her, and you pursue her. When you as an dirty guy get her in your bed, she is just magic, but straight after? Oh boy all of a sudden her friend is now the hot one! Or her sister. You see how quickly things goes wrong for this soul? This spirit just wants ALL the sin, and he LOVES it! Let me be very clear on this… I loved having affairs with women. Even when I was married I LOVED IT! Boy was I a lost soul. My soul was LOST IN SIN!!! But is was magnificent and it was GREAT FUN!! When I scored another student at work I was the hero amongst the men in the office! I never told, but everybody knew, except my wife. If you think I am being to descriptive now, it is because I need you to see how LOST IN SIN we are!
At that stage of my life, where was the Holy Spirit? In me? Then why was he so quiet? Or was I only deaf? Nope, I did not KNOW God, and I did not even know if there was a God! I certainly did not believe in Him. The only thing I lived for was COBUS! Oh and a little for my two daughters, but it was like a burden and a blessing. If they were good, they were a blessing, and if they were bad they were a burden. And my wife? Man she was this woman I also known and she fell pregnant. Now she is my backup for this dirty spirit to please the lost soul. And I was a very busy man. Drinking, smoking, swearing, whoring, adultery and many more! My wife? She and the two daughters went to church and they were “good” people.
Ok so let us get back to the mystery… Then one day God arranged for me to end up in a church where HE had the people sing the “Lord’s Prayer” as in Matthew 6. Right there something happened, and it is important I describe this in detail. So please let me share this with you.
Remember I LOVE the sin. Even standing up when the song (prayer) started I was still LOST!!! And that lost guy was not troubled at all! Then the organ started and we all stood up. About 500 people. They started to sing… OUR FATHER WHICH ART IN HEAVEN… I closed my eyes, and I saw my whole life in the clearest three dimensional vision. It was FILTHY!!! Man Adam would glow like an angel compared to me!!! I was so ashamed standing there! ALL these holy people singing here, and I was shown how filthy I am. I saw a scroll rolling down, and all my sins were written on it. It was a thick scroll and there were thousands of transgressions. All in perfect detail. And the scroll rolled to the end, and a lot of paper was lying on the floor. Then the scroll started winding up the paper again, and MANY of the sins were already removed! I saw many gaps, where there was no gap a moment ago. Oh there were still sin on the scroll, but WAY less than at first. Later I would understand what that meant.
And I saw something else, I saw behind the scroll, off to the right, I saw a man! His body was made like it was cut from a huge diamond. And there came from him the purest of light. And the light was so bright I could not recognize the face. I looked intensely and then I saw it was me! But this part of the vision would only be known to me later. I saw it then, but the scroll was so much the focus, that I almost forgot about the ENLIGHTENED man in the back!
Ok so now I am awakened by the knowledge of the DIRT! The things I LOVED when I stood up hurt me so much now that I started crying… And the People sang… HALLOWED BE THY NAME! .. And I saw the first sin being revealed to me, once again. And I knew!!! I have to take this sin somewhere… And the People sang… THY KINGDOM COME… And I knew where to go….And I cried even more bitterly. By now my handkerchief was already soaked, fortunately my wife had two girls and a whole box of tissues with her. And the people sang… THY WILL BE DONE IN EARTH AS IN HEAVEN… And I knew, God wants me to STOP all these things that is still on the scroll. I just KNEW I HAD to stop, and it was not difficult, because in an instant my old LOVE is now my NEW HATE!!! And I cried and had hope of change, it looked like God would change things for me… And I looked at that shiny man again, was it me?... And the people sang…GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD… And I KNEW if I do not do this with God there will be NO BREAD!!! And I cried, because now I understood that God is VERY sad about this scroll. I cried even harder, and now the tissues are being soaked, my wife passed me a LOT through the whole prayer! And the people sang… FORGIVE US OUR SINS… and I begged God to clean the whole scroll! And the people sang… AS WE FORGIVE THOSE THAT SIN AGAINST US… And I looked for another scroll with the sins of the people that sin against me, I SAW NONE!!! And now I cried, and all these people were as holy as God. I was the ONLY SINNER THERE!!! And this is a deep one many years later!! But that is another study. And the People sang… LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL…And now I BEGGED! Oh boy, now the wife had to pass two tissues at a time, and she also took my arm… Listen here… if you do not believe this may God SHOW you!!! There was an angel right next to me, holding my arm! Later I would find out that it was Jesus that touched my arm! WOW!!!Is he going to lead me now? And is He going to deliver me from evil? .. Oh boy did I have hope NOW!!! …And the people sang…FOR THINE IS THE KIUNGDOM… and I saw the man in the LIGHT… and they sang…AND THE POWER… and I felt the touch on my arm, and it was PURE LOVE!!!...and they sang… AND THE GLORY… And I saw the man in the back, and he was glorious! Pure as this LOVE ON MY ARM!!! And the people sang… FOR EVER AND EVER…. And I saw the scroll, and it was white as snow and not a single little blot on it. The scroll was cleared to PURE CONSCIENCE clean!... And the people sang… AMEN! And I heard God…He said… IT SHALL BE SO!!!! And I knew… God will make me that man in the back, and that man was so pure and perfect, he can EASILY be mistaken for JESUS! Or is it a mistake? NO !!!!
This is it… The whole mystery, in us there can be a COMPLETE JESUS! God’s salvation is to create JESUS IN US! Jesus is our pure conscience, and that is a mystery to ALL THE EARTH, but a REVELATION to ALL God … IT SHALL BE SO!!! If God recreates Jesus in us, we are the mystery of the faith! Mystery to the world, but a revelation IN GOD!!
We are delivered from evil! We are delivered from this world and we are put back in the garden, HID from this world… We are again put with the tree of LIFE in God’s garden… His kingdom… We are where Jesus is…IN GOD.. DELIVERED FROM THIS WORLD….This is how God puts it in His Word…. Plain to read, but you need a revelation to see… 3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
How are we dead?... Well like this… ALL that sin on the scroll, I died for it. Meaning I do not keep that sin alive by giving it my soul!!! It is my soul that keeps the sin alive. And by now going to type these essays, I do not spend the time looking at porn and lusting after the FOOD… No I ask God… Lord help me express myself so that more people will ask…. LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL… My dear friends. God delivers you 100% from evil. And he will do it, and He can do it RIGHT NOW!!! All you have to do is ask and believe. I did and still do, and for all I know my deliverance might even have happened by the time you read this.

I love your obsession with the things of God. There's nothing wrong in so desiring to be all He desires you to be cobus. No need to strive for it this I know you dont but to make it your hearts cry, its obsession to be less so that He can be more. Great obsession, I can relate whole heartedly to that.

Consumed, I wonder what Jesus would reply to my obsession about Him and His will? Imagine He writes something here! how exciting would that be? Imagine Jesus starts off with this...BLESSED... and we all read what He writes. Would that simplify our uderstanding? Do you think we will recognize HIM? My dear friends, do you think you will have something to say AFTER Jesus spoke here on the threat? I know if I believe wrongly, I will be shut up!
