I would imagine a holy kiss was a kiss on the face showing philos love. Maybe the equivalent of a handshake today. I know my grandmother was from a different culture and her culture, everyone kissed everyone on the lips. I thought it was yucky as a child, which goes to show you how North American I am.
As for pants, I dare any man to wear my pants, which are shaped and cut for a woman's body. The only thing I regret about women's pants (except jeans) is that pockets are not usually part of the garment. I found that very difficult when walking around the long term care center, needing my pencil, my Iphone (for my Bible) and various other things. I finally found a sweater with pockets, which I used but the phone etc stretched the the pockets down.
I love to wear a dress, especially a long one. I have since I was young. To tell the truth, they are more comfortable than pants, but somewhat inconvenient to work in.
I do not think God will convict us on the Levitical laws, since they were made for the priests, and today, as all believers are priests. Jesus is called a priest after the order of Melchizedek in Hebrews 7. That means the Aaronic priesthood was done away with with the death and resurrection of Christ. 1 Peter 2:5-9 talks about the priesthood of believers.
"you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. [SUP]6 [/SUP]For it stands in Scripture:“Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone,
a cornerstone chosen and precious,
and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”
[SUP]7 [/SUP]So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe,
“The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone,”
[SUP]8 [/SUP]and “A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.”They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light."
As for men wearing dresses - I just saw something on FB about Muslim men wearing dresses to support women in Iran. While I support the women in Iran against the Muslim injustices and the burka, these men were pretty terrible looking in dresses. So yes, I have a bias against men wearing women's clothing. Some things are hard to let go of.
