The other way around, of course. It's that depraved nature which causes sin and death - Rom.5:12.
You are correct. The noun results in the verb, no noun means no verb.

This is another argument for the impeccability of Christ during his first coming.

OMGoodness!!!
DUT. 30:19.
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death,
blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Deuteronomy 30:6 lets us know who God is asking to choose, and it is those that God will circumcise their heart and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

The life that he sets before them is not eternal life, but a good life that he would bless them to live here in this world by following his commandments. The death=separation that he sets before them is a separation from a fellowship with him if they choose to turn away and not hear him'

The life and death in this scripture is not referencing heaven and hell.

I am 86 years old, and think some of your comments to be comical.
Praise God for 86 years!!! I'm glad you find some of my comments comical. I do intend for some of them to be a little comical when I disagree but God knows my heart, I mean no disrespect to you or most anybody else on here. The Bible says "iron sharpens iron"

Thats why I started coming to this forum, to talk to people I may disagree with and help me learn more.....all that being said I still disagree with you and think you are wrong about predestination.

I appreciate your comments. We all think that we have found the truths in the scriptures, and I am as yourself, in believing a discussion of the scriptures is profitable. This forum gives me a motivation to study, and the beauty of the gospel is, that every time you read a few scriptures, you see and understand something new.

Most all on this forum have one thing in common, and that is that we all have eternal inheritance, even though we disagree on how we get there.
