If people can know God without the Bible, then why is there a rush to read the Bible? Salvation is a personal decision and if everyone knows God exists then why preach try to save people since only God can change people?

let me help you a little bit. I did not become a Christian until my late thirties.
A Christian friend invited me one day to come to church with Him. I went
because he was a friend and I had nothing to do. By that one time of saying
yes, God took over my live. Not all at one time of course but over a course of
many years. We do have to accept a little bit of teaching to help our formulation.
I suggest you do read some scripture, some knowledge is necessary but what you
do read, read it and feel it in your heart just as you are talking with your best friend.
Don't read it strictly for knowledge as Christians were born with Christian parents
and are brain washed. They go to churches and they get brain washed and most
never learn and know God intimately. The remainder become puppets and study
the bible as a part time career so they can argue over it day after day. Read it with
peace and love in your heart so can come to a place for the maximum you need to
know is Love the Lord with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself. Jesus
Christ Himself said That is my only commandment to you. It is good for your
soul to read scripture now and then to stay in touch. I don't believe you need to
find a church. Jesus was talking directly to us. If we are serious about being a
Christian we trust Christ and Christ only, everyone else has their own opinion.
God bless you and know that He loves you with all His heart. May His peace
and love be with you forever.

1 Corinthians 1:18-31 basically says that people did not know God through wisdom, but they can know him through the message of the cross. The message of the cross is not an intuitive message that people just wake up one day and suddenly realize it's the way to know God. This means that unless people are accurately talking about the message of the cross verbally then it's necessary to have a reference book like the Bible.

So I don't think people cannot really know God without the Bible because that's essentially what the verse I referenced says.

If people can know God without the Bible...
People must hear about the Lord Jesus Christ -- His life, death, burial, and resurrection, and believe that He died for their sins and rose again for their justification. And that is only found in the Bible. It is by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ that people are saved.

Selena, people cannot know God without the Bible. The only way that we can truly know who God is, and the only way we can learn about His true nature, holiness, character, and attributes, is to read and study His word, the Blessed King James Holy Bible.

And while Salvation does involve a choice and personal decision, nevertheless though, Salvation is completely of God. Without the convicting power of the Holy Ghost, no sinner could be saved. Only when God moves and when He is drawing men, then and only then can men be saved.

Concerning your last question, we preach the Gospel because God commands us to do so, and it is the very means which God hath ordained for His children to witness, and reach the lost.

Everyone doesnt know God exists, at least they have been blinded by the evil one. There needs to be people that will preach the message always,
