Hello John,

Jesus is coming back in His glory and we shall be like Him,

But you say no, He will be have a regular body like when He was on earth the first time, that's why people will be able to see His face. And when it says we will be like Him, We will just have normal fleshly bodies like His, all "healed", we'll be like Him.
When Jesus was resurrected, it was in that glorified body, which he said to his disciples was made of flesh and bone (Lk.24:39). When he ascended to the Father's right hand, it was in that same glorified bodied that He was resurrected in. When He appears to gather the church, it will be in that same glorified resurrected body. When He returns to the earth to end the age and establish His millennial kingdom, it will be in that same resurrected and glorified body. Here is just a little bit of obvious proof that the inhabitants of the earth, even the wicked will see Him when He returns:

"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other."

"Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him—even those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen."

So, please stop saying that no one will be able to look upon Jesus. Either you believe the above scriptures or you don't. If not, then you are blatantly ignoring scripture.

And when it says we will be like Him, We will just have normal fleshly bodies like His, all "healed", we'll be like Him.
Those who take part in the first resurrection will do so in the same body, but with a heavenly upgrade. A body of flesh and bone, like Jesus'. A body that will never decay, nor get sick and will have heavenly power, like moving through solid objects and most likely being able to travel anywhere you want with a thought. God will use each persons actual body, but with a heavenly upgrade. It will be a body of flesh and bone with heavenly abilities. In conclusion, I never said that the resurrected body would be normal fleshly bodies as in mortal. These upgraded resurrected bodies will be immortal, eternal.

When Jesus appears in His glory we will be meeting the God of Mt Sinai face to face.
No we won't be meeting Jesus face to face on Mt. Sinai John. We will be following him out of heaven riding on white horses, wearing fine linen, white and clean which will have received at the wedding of the Lamb during the time that God's wrath will be poured out. His called, faithful and chosen followers are those who will be returning with Christ when he returns to the earth to end the age. At that time we will already be in our glorified bodies. It is the people of the earth who will still be in their mortal bodies and will see Christ and His followers as we descend to the earth.

Brother Ahwatukee,

Just think about this,

Jesus is coming back in His glory and we shall be like Him,

But you say no, He will be have a regular body like when He was on earth the first time, that's why people will be able to see His face. And when it says we will be like Him, We will just have normal fleshly bodies like His, all "healed", we'll be like Him.

When the creator, the "I Am", reveals Himself, reveals His face, the mystery of God will be finished, Rev 10:7, 7th trumpet.

When Jesus appears in His glory we will be meeting the God of Mt Sinai face to face.

Do you think that the God of Mt Sinai, coming to destroy His enemies, will just be Jesus in His "unglorified" body?

Do you think that He will reign in Jerusalem for 1000 yrs in His glory like Mt Sinai or in a normal body?

You see this is where it all falls apart for you.

You cannot answer the hard questions and hold to the time line that you have set.

How many times will the face of God be revealed? 2,3,4,?

This is a serious question that you need to answer.

Again, you say that I am teaching someone else's teaching,

Again, where are they? Who are they? There is nobody but me and my Bible.

You have accused me again and again without any proof. (come on Bro, I'm not lying)

I love you brother, God bless you.

Brother John
The God of Mt. Sinai that Moses saw was Jesus, prior to Jesus being born in a flesh body. It was Jesus that Abraham met at his tent door along with two other men that were the two angels that went to gather Lot (Gen.18 & 19).

At the end of John 8, when the BLIND Pharisees asked Jesus if He had seen Abraham, Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am."

I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Jud 1:5

The oldest manuscripts of this passage, read as thus...

Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. Jude 1.5

Yes. Satan is now bound.

Satan is bound……now….

2 Thes 2.6 -7

And now you know that which is binding for him to be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness already is working, only he is bound now, until he comes out of the midst.

This is as straight forward as it gets for you denier-holdouts...

Peter said...'The devil as a roaring lion walks around seeking whom he may devour!"
If Satan is bound now, he must be on a very long leash.....according to 1 Peter 5:8

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

He (Satan) certainly isn't "walking about" in heaven or in the bottomless pit.

Hi garee! what's the first century reformation, and who's saying it hasn't occurred?
I believe the first century reformation is when Christ born of a woman came as promised to restore to another time period . Because of it outward Jews were no longer needed as types and shadows that l pointed to the time of reformation. It because of the confusion of no longer looking to the outward flesh of Jews became a tribulation that we still experience in that seen even today (no form to put a faith into) . It is the beginning of the last days or the generation of Christ, in regard to all the nations of the world who do call on Him as he draws men from heaven.

Seeing there remains no outward representation. I believe the refomation restored the proper manner of spirit (walking by faith) back to the period of the Judges when God by faith(not seen) reigned as King. The apostate Jews because of their jealously of the pagan nation ( the lust of the flesh, lust of the eye and pride of life) that must walk by sight changed that for a few thousands years. God gave them over to do that which they should not of.

Many today do not honor that reformation, as if it never occurred. But would be quick to acknowledge the fifteenth century reformation , which is a carbon copy. Just different fathers outwardly in who they measured faith in respect of men (Christ's nemesis ) the reason for the reformation in both periods.

If the literal sense makes good sense, then don't seek any other sense. Rev.20:1-7 means exactly what it says. What the great chain and key to the Abyss is made of is irrelevant.
Hi Thanks for the reply

I have heard those instructions before (first sense, the only sense, as in common sense) but it does not follow some of the precepts (2Corinthians 4:18 ) as a key needed to understand a parable He have given us so that we can study to seek His approval. If it’s what sense makes good sense, the word good would have to be defined.

2Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Common (natural) sense,(the wisdom of this world )is not necessarily the sense God is making when revealing his spiritual understandings, (the wisdom of God). It can but does not without discrimination .He can hide pearls as easily as revealing the meanings.

It would be irrelevant if it was literal. But if it is chains as the mysteries of God as to His spiritual words ,spiritual understanding, binding them to the believer heart or binds them from the angels that left their first place of residence who fell from heaven from the presence of the other angels. I believe we should be aware of the possibility of who the chains and the binding are affecting.

He uses them as the understanding loosened from heaven that he binds on our hearts like a necklace to show some have the grace as those who bound, yoked with Christ, and are subject to salvation. I would think being bound by chains goes either way.

To understand a proverb (parable) , and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck. Pro 1:6

I would today in literal sense think it would make as much sense I believe as angels who have no form procreating with men the other creation (human) . Falling angels have no DNA. Literal chains or literal places cannot hold the idea that there will be deception in this world in respect to the father of lies until the last day, judgement day as well as the day believers will receive their new incorruptible bodies in the new heavens and earth.

Not a salvation issue. I at one time I did look to the dispensation view as a Plymouth Brethren but ran into to many difficulties. When doing a study on the word thousand and how it is used throughout the scriptures. It became difficult to ignore how today I believe it is used. Not saying the issue is settled I keep it on the back burner on simmer.

If it is a parable and must be treated as one I believe. Souls do not have literal heads , and neither can a literal chain hold a spirit or can dead literal dead rise .

The spiritual understand I believe should be sought out. To completely dismiss it is not a parable run into many problems. Because it is a parable it flows best for me..

The word thousand is used numerous time to indicate an unknown number of whatever in in view. Perhaps hundreds of times the word thousand is used in that old and new testament .

Whenever the names of literal people and literal locations are being used, these are not the characteristics of a parable.
By viewing the ten commandments we can see that God uses historical true events as a parables. Both meaning are applied in many cases. .

By symbolizing what is meant to be interpreted as being literal, you distort the word of God. You're forcing this information into being a parable. I would bring to your attention regarding the great chain, neither does the scripture state that it is corporeal. For you all you know, it could be a chain that is made for spiritual beings. You could say the same thing about demonic beings being under the earth, which should not be able to contain spiritual beings, yet, they are in fact contained and therefore, there is most definitely something that keeps them from being able to get out of the Abyss, otherwise they would all have escaped a long time ago.
If the literal is symbolized it could lead a person in another direction. But finding a spiritual meaning intended and ignoring it can be just as harmful.

Again, who is it that has been deceiving the whole world accusing the brethren day and night before God? Did the lying spirits escape ?

Why the warning that is applicable till the last day of Satan and his lying sign and wonders if the spiritual being cannot move? when does that warning expire? The warning is in respect to when he does come again. I would say God is still sending those strong delusions.

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:2Th 2:8

And under the earth is not a literal place. It is simply speaking of the authority of the god of this world. It simply means under the authority of the father of lies .It is not a reference to a literal place.

I believe he came in His incorruptible Spirit and put on a temporal body and left the same way, no form. The flesh that did not profit could not enter heaven .His incorruptible Spirit did.

Joh 6:62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

I would reevaluate your position garee and that because, believing in the BODILY resurrection of Christ is apart of our faith. When Jesus appeared to the disciples after resurrecting and appeared to them behind closed doors, they thought that they had seen a spirit. But Jesus reassures them that it is He Himself by showing them the nail marks in His hands and feet and referred to his body as being flesh and bone. He resurrected in the same body that He was crucified in! He did not change into a spiritual being after that, but remained in that resurrected body, ascended in that resurrected body, sat down at the right hand of the Father in that body and will return to gather the church in that same resurrected, immortal and glorified body. By the way, the word "Anastasis" translated "Resurrection" always and only refers to the body standing up again. Furthermore, Jesus' bodily resurrection was proof of His being the Son of God:

"Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, and set apart for the gospel of God, 2which He promised beforehand through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, 3regarding His Son, who was a descendant of David according to flesh, 4and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by His resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord."

Consequently, anyone who does not believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ and that He remains in that resurrected body, is not believing in the gospel.

Jesus did not leave His body here. The stone was rolled away for our benefit. He did not need the stone to be removed, but the Apostles and we did.

to the normal reader this means that he will roam about in PEOPLE who are persecutors. But he is restrained by Christ (Matt 12.28-29) which is why the Gospel has flourished.

The bottomless pit or abyss is merely a picture of his restraint. No spirit being could be held in a literal pit.

Jesus rose in His glorified body. But we must not interpret that body in the light of what the Apostles saw. The glory there was veiled. His glory will outshine the sun (Rev 21.23), as indeed will ours,

Satan has not been bound for 1000 years and Satan has not been cast out of heaven. Satan still goes to heaven to accuse the brethren as he has been doing since Job. What do you think happens when he gets you to sin. He accuses you in heaven. Look at that sinner! When satan is cast out of heaven the abomination of desolation takes place at that moment.

The problem here isPreterism and its false teachings. After you learn what preterism teaches you will know its of the devil. Preterism teaches complacency. Preterism teaches you don't need to worry about sin. Preterism teaches that there is no hope. All contrary to God's word.

Do not be complacent:

Rev_3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Ephesians 6:12-18 KJV For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Sin is serious !!

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death;................

We absolutely have HOPE !!

Gal_5:5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
Tit_1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

Tit_2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Tit_3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Heb_3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

Rom_15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

If our God is the God of hope then those that teach there is no hope are following who? Rocket science 101

Notice God's words separate believers from non believers. Non believers as those who have no hope!

1Th_4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

This post will make sense when you read it all the way through. In order to throw out all the many misinterpretations of scripture that have been listed in here concerning the claim that satan is currently bound you need to understand what the enemy teaches and believes and compare that to God's word. Satan would love for you to believe he is bound, that there is no hope that you do not need to worry about sin and that you can be lukewarm (complacent). This is why this post.

Now that you know what preterists teach falsely compared with scripture verses, you can now understand that their interpretations and presentations of those interpretations have an agenda aligned with what they believe and teach.

Proof the preterists interpretations are false because preterism is false.............

Its simple with just a few verses.

Jesus speaking!!

Luke 20:35-36 KJV But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

Jesus explains what happens when the resurrection takes place.

Now Preterists can only take these verses literally or Spritually (spiritually also being figuratively). If they take them literally they look foolish as anyone can see that there is still people dying and that there is still marrying and giving in marriage.

So they are left with only one false interpretation. Spiritually (figuratively). Here is the problem. If they take these verses figuratively then they directly contradict God's word Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death;................

In other words they are saying you can't die anymore spiritually therefore you do not need to worry about sin. The exact opposite of what God's word teaches. Many of the proponents who are teaching satan is bound already are preterists.

What scripture makes the claim that Satan has a revolving door into heaven...?

Revelation 12:9-12 KJV And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

These verses clearly explain satan accuses the brethren in heaven. Heaven celebrates when he is cast down. When that happens the great tribulation begins thus Woe to the inhabiters of the earth. Satan's wrath is the great tribulation. God's wrath follows. Satan's wrath and God's wrath are two separate distinct events. Clearly proven in scripture. Satan's wrath ( the great tribulation ) can not and will not happen at the same time or even overlap God's wrath.

The casting-down is in the Greek aorist tense (i.e. completed action).

It has already occurred.

It was a one time event.

Satan doesn't do that to me. He is restricted. If he wasn't do you think we would have a chance? God protects His own people. They overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. Rev 12. was fulfilled at and following the time of Jesus, any other interpretation is out.

When satan is cast out of heaven the abomination of desolation takes place at that moment.
the abomination of desolation took place at 70 ad which was AFTER Satan was cast out..

The problem here isPreterism and its false teachings.

I am not a preterist. I doubt if you will find preterists here, but I do read the Scripture intelligently and recognise that much of Jesus warnings have been fulfilled.

HE didn't believe in a fictitious seven years at the end of the age

After you learn what preterism teaches you will know its of the devil. Preterism teaches complacency. Preterism teaches you don't need to worry about sin. Preterism teaches that there is no hope. All contrary to God's word.
Rubbish

No Christian is without this certain hope. But our hope is IN CHRIST not a spurious millennium

he has many minions. It would be foolish not to be concerned about them. but he is bound (matt 12.28-29)

This is why this post.

Now that you know what preterists teach falsely compared with scripture verses, you can now understand that their interpretations and presentations of those interpretations have an agenda aligned with what they believe and teach.

Satan doesn't do that to me. He is restricted. If he wasn't do you think we would have a chance? God protects His own people. They overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. Rev 12. was fulfilled at and following the time of Jesus, any other interpretation is out.

the abomination of desolation took place at 70 ad which was AFTER Satan was cast out..

I am not a preterist. I doubt if you will find preterists here, but I do read the Scripture intelligently and recognise that much of Jesus warnings have been fulfilled.

HE didn't believe in a fictitious seven years at the end of the age

Rubbish

you don't even know what it means :)

would you put that to the end of the age too? Its you who don't treat sin seriously.

yes WE of 1st century onwards,

No Christian is without this certain hope. But our hope is IN CHRIST not a spurious millennium

But JESUS SAID he was bound (Matt 12.28-29) Don't you believe Him?

he has many minions. It would be foolish not to be concerned about them. but he is bound (matt 12.28-29)
preterism is a red herring. there are NONE here. but partial preterism (your name not mine) is TRUE.[/QUOTE]
