Is the false teaching of pre-tribulation rapture, getting the power of "him" out of the way, who restrains the antichrist?

I was just putting things into perspective. It's a fact that is unpleasant to hear.

The whole "rapture" theory makes no sense to many. It doesn't make sense with Greek used, among other things. I do take issue with those trying to batter us into "believing" it actually not it but their interpretation of it. And ugly attitude towards those who don't accept it.
Amen to that.

Most postribbers go personal when the debate gets into the rapture verses.

I have yet to see a correct view of the 10 virgin parable.

If it is reframed to fit postrib rapture ,and with no red flags?

The bride /groom topic completely missing?

Rev 14 ignored?

The last supper dialog ignored?
No red flags?

I don't see anything through any "prism".
I don't have a fixed position on so called end times. At some point I decided to focus on what can I do right now. I guess that's my position.
You invoked it....not me.

You will never see me invoke extra biblical dynamics.

See the difference?

I can defend postrib rapture better than anyone I have debated.

I cut my teeth with those type of believers.

The bible is the game changer.

Once the bride and groom are on the table....it is a game changer.

I have never seen anyone that believes post trib rapture initiate the groom/ bride dynamic.

I have never seen it.

It still puts things into perspective though. The adherents believe "EVERYBODY got it wrong until the evangelicals appeared"
Same with Ellen White, the adherents believe, "EVERYBODY got it wrong until she appeared"
Not that this is enough for me to dismiss something, but it's a starting point hey let's question its validity; it's a novelty being introduced. God endowed us with reason for a reason.

Once it is realized those ancients were seeing all endtimes through a clouded prism,it is a game changer

Everybody sees things through a clouded prism and darkly; it's literally written in Scripture that this is so. What makes you think that your prism is not clouded?

Could be.
I do not need and history.

I keep the debate in verses.

You will rarely see,or never,my verses bounced around.

They usually change the subject (and usually it is extra biblical writings)

I hear a lot of people suggest that what we are trying to point out about what Paul is conveying in 2Th2, would be like his saying:

"the rapture cannot happen until the rapture takes place" (which of course is indeed nonsensical),

... but that is NOT what we are pointing out.

That is to misunderstand what it is that we are pointing out (about the text itself and what Paul is actually conveying there).

We have safeguards
1 the Holy Spirit
2the written word
3 each other
4 the word interprets the word.
5 "the impossibility" false doctrine automatically Carries with it "the impossible"
One or more verses making it impossible.

It is wisdom to drop my false views.

Replacement theology attacks israel and denies there is a modern jew.

IOW they do not recognize jews as legit.
Christians have been the enemy of jews ever since Jesus. Modern Christians might love jews, but jews have always hated Christians because they've always hated Jesus. I think dispensationalism/pre-trib rapture is just the product of jewish infiltration into Christianity in order to get Christians to cow-tow to jews/Israel.

I used to buy into it (dispensationalism/pre-trib rapture). Not anymore.

the issue i have with your comment is the parable doesn't deal with rapture of the church although one could draw an application. The Five wise and the five foolish speaks more to being faith while waiting for the return of the brideGroom. IF you want to use parables to discredit the doctrine of the Rapture parables are not they way to do it. And IF you are going to hold REV 14 while you do not deal with REV chapter 4 your pint is not well taken. Just saying. The soon return of the Lord is what the Church agree on collectively. To suggest that those who hold to the rapture of the church is hurting or causing those to lose faith is opinionated not truth. Many many men of God held to this understanding and did not wavier in faith from Billy Graham and many others.

this is not true. The RCC which is not anything what the Earlier Church was like and FYI all the 12 Jesus choose were jews . Second, the hate of jews came from the Third Reich Nazis Germany. at that time 18 million jews were known to be in the world. 6 million of them were killed based on the false teachings supported by the RCC at that time. There was no hatred fro the jews by Christians until the church took on government status. And this caused ,any who became christians in name only. Hilter was raised " Christian " his mother was devoted RCC.

1. Jews have been at odds with Christianity way before WW2. Here's a quick list of places that they've been expelled from prior to WW2. Many of those places were Christian controlled. And BTW, haven't you ever read what Martin Luther had to say about the jews? He was more anti-jew than anyone. To say that it started with Hitler is just totally wrong.

2. The Bible talks about people not wanting to talk about Jesus "for fear of the jews". I think that's still applicable today.

3. I don't even know why you're talking about Christians hating jews in the first place. I never even mentioned that.

the Christians in the Apostolic age were not of the RCC or knock-off from them. They were Jewish Christians

Of course the very first Christians were of Jewish decent. But jews were and are a tiny minority of the populace in most any locations but Israel, parts of NYC, Washington DC, and maybe Boca Raton, FL. And of that tiny minority, only a tiny minority of them ever became/become Christian. So it's obvious that the meteoric growth of Christianity in the world was through the goyim - not the jews. Jews did their best to prevent the growth of Christianity. (I'm thinking of the times when jews aided the moors in their bloody rampages through Christian Europe.)

You're getting pretty far away from your pre-trib rapture though. I still don't buy it.
