This depends, are you referring to the original tongues that those in the upper room received, or the gift of tongues spoken of in 1st Corinthians 12 and 14, or our prayer language? The prayer language is for everyone. The gift of tongues spoken of in 1st Corinthians is distributed severally as the Holy Spirit wills, not to everyone.

Well yeah watchmen we could distinguish it like that but I think it's the same prayer language function just utilised by the Spirit for a particular use in the church setting as the Spirit wills.

It IS for everyone!! Why? Because scritpure tells us "Ask and ye shall receive!" God is not a liar, so when you ask, believing, you receive.

But y'all gotta open your mouth, ya know?
